"Note #1: CASH ONLY.Note #2: Buzzi's is exclusively takeout and does not offer delivery or dine-in options.Note #3: I saw nothing but pizza on the menu. Note #4: Buzzi's opens at 4PM daily, but they don't seem to have a set-in-stone closing time. Yet again we found a specimen of what I have deemed the Beaver Valley Pizza Pie, only that it was amply topped with cheese and had a crust that wasn't as puffy as others I've tried in the region. However, it was typically square and crunchy. Aside from a very nice, rich, snappy, deep red sauce in which herbs were highly visible, the two cuts of pizza (Buzzi's only sells cuts in even numbers, which means that you have to walk out with at least 2. Veddy, veddy clever...) I had really had little else going for it. The crust was akin to burnt toast, and the cheese reminded me of old chewing gum. The 2 cuts were $2.20, so at least my wallet can't gripe about being beaten. On a personal note, Kay lived above this place for a time before we started dating. "Buzzi," as he is called, also owns the building that houses the pizza parlor. She refused to come in and anxiously waited for me in the car, peeling out of there like a rat on fire when I returned. Little more needs to be said, so I'll stop typing now."

"We order takeout from here so often. Their food is consistent and good. It's a hometown pizza place so we try to visit them when we can. With that said, the online ordering is spotty and clunky. Wait times are bad there right now. They are understaffed. Everyone is, so we've definitely tempered our expectations. Delivery times are long. If you're able it is usually better to pick up your food. Everyone here is friendly and you can tell they're doing their best while needing more staff. I like it here and I'm happy they're close by. We'll continue to order!"

"I'd like to comment on the Thanksgiving buffet our family had at DeNunzio's Latrobe. We always enjoy dining there but yesterday's buffet was exceptional. I tried a small spoon of everything and honesty couldn't find a flaw in anything! It was truly a five star experience so much so we've already booked the family Christmas Buffet! They also offer a great kids menu with lots of choices. The service can be a bit slow at times due to short staff, which lefts face it, that is an issue with most places anymore. So go and enjoy yourself, relax and enjoy great food!"

"My son and my boyfriend and I love this place! We spent the afternoon at Mingo Creek and then decided to stop here for a late evening meal. First off, the food was amazing and very affordable! The staff was super friendly and attentive and checked on us and made some good conversation. The owner told us that they even do projected movies in the back of the restaurant outdoors! It's a great view out back, too. I can't say enough great things about Twist & Shake. I've been going here for years and will continue to as often as we can!"

"Typical Western PA fare in a dive-bar atmosphere. The white pizza was really yummy. The crust was a bit chewy but overall it had good flavor. We got two extra large pizzas for our group for only $17, which I thought was a pretty great deal. I went on a Monday night and they had a 50 cent wing special, with a minimum order of 6 wings. They were the whole wing, and fried very crispy, just how I like. Also, they were having a special on Yeungling, and a bottle was only $1.50!!! For inexpensive bar food, Mel's cannot really be beat!*They also offer a nice selection 6 packs to go which is super convenient if you're grabbing food to go!!!!"

Hell, when I was in high school, a few boxes of DeFelice would be delivered and sold in the cafeteria every day... and it ALWAYS sold out. "I love Aviva Brick Oven! The pizza is amazing. I've eaten most of the pizzas on the menu and haven't had one I didn't like. My go to favorite is the Bianca with hot crumbled sausage added to it. I regularly went to the Warrendale location but we moved to Zelie a few years ago so we were only going rarely. When I heard they were taking over the old Union Bro's location up here, I was thrilled. We stopped in last night to check them out and was thrilled. The space is smaller but the food was just as spectacular. I love that it is closer now. I'll be coming in regularly."

"Put simply: Slice on Broadway is where I go when I want really good pizza! And good food. But mostly good pizza.Usually I create my own pie, although you really can't go wrong with their regular menu, either. I especially recommend their margherita pizza; those ingredients and flavors on Slice's thin pizza crusts are the perfect pairing.That said, you also can't go wrong with an order of breadsticks or garlic knots - there is no shame in going straight for the carbs when they're so delicious. And don't snooze on the hoagies or salads! They make for a tasty lunchtime treat. While Slice serves up plenty of standard options (I.e. good ol' Italian hoagies, grilled chicken salads, etc.), my current goal is to try their Gonzo Hoagie.Add on that the employees have always been nice and have always given accurate times on how long for an order, and all of this makes for one very happy customer. I've never had a bad experience or bad meal from Slice on Broadway.Bonus tip: this local recommends bringing some dinner from this pizza shop over to Apis Meadery sometime - it's hard to beat a relaxing evening with pizza, mead, and friends!"

My Smash Burger was a delicious, juicy, two handed treat and the accompanying seasoned fries were da' bomb! Since it was my birthday, I treated myself to a lunchtime Long Island Iced Tea, which was served "properly" in a TALL glass! I highly recommend this "old standard" hangout turned NEW. I'm guessing Thursday Bike nights, with a Corona bucket special, is a crowded fun time. I'll be back!!"

In irony, it's like DOORS away from another (puny, mortal) pizza joint, silently laughing all the way. After that first bite, I had to take a good look at the pizza like "where's all THAT tasty coming from?".Seriously, it's the most ordinary-looking pizza, but the crust, sauce and cheese are just PERFECT! The bangin' tomatoey acid from the sauce off-setting the *really good* cheese, sitting on crust you can eat naked. It's just... pizza. But it's GOOD pizza - and that's rare.I don't know who Maisie is, but damn, girl... (*enter innuendo here*) LOL! I got your number baby. Om nom nom!"

"What, you haven't been to Bellisario's yet? This is about the only red sauce pizza I ever get a craving for, and boy howdy is it good. The crust is on the thin side and ever so crisp on the bottom, while still having enough dough on the edge to provide a nice chewy bit at the end of your slice. The dough itself is flavorful, not too... well, doughy. The sauce is great, and they don't drown the pizza in it. There's just enough cheese; not so much it's an overwhelming grease slick and not so little you can't tell it's there. If you can go while Mama's working, all the better.You can eat in here; they have four or five booths and generations worth of family photos on the walls. Two of us split a small (8-cut) pizza with one topping ($9) and with our two cans of pop we were out for $10. You can't beat that. And I'd put Bellisario's pizza up against any in the city.I grew up a five minute walk away. My mom loved Bellisario's and I have a lot of fond memories of walking through the alley to pick up a cheese pizza to bring home, my mom being too dollar-conscious to pay for delivery when there were perfectly able-bodied children around to go pick it up. Every time I have a slice, it brings back great memories. But I've had outside confirmation that it really is as awesome as I think it is.It's a little divey, stuck in the back of an old shopping plaza, but it's perfect. If you're in West Mifflin (say, going to Kennywood), drive over and eat a pizza. They've also got hoagies and calzones, and I think that's about it. But with pizza this good, who cares?"
