"Food was amazing, ambiance was romantic, and service was great. Thought it was the same as the chain restaurant but it is not."
"Note #1: CASH ONLY.Note #2: Buzzi's is exclusively takeout and does not offer delivery or dine-in options.Note #3: I saw nothing but pizza on the menu. Note #4: Buzzi's opens at 4PM daily, but they don't seem to have a set-in-stone closing time. Yet again we found a specimen of what I have deemed the Beaver Valley Pizza Pie, only that it was amply topped with cheese and had a crust that wasn't as puffy as others I've tried in the region. However, it was typically square and crunchy. Aside from a very nice, rich, snappy, deep red sauce in which herbs were highly visible, the two cuts of pizza (Buzzi's only sells cuts in even numbers, which means that you have to walk out with at least 2. Veddy, veddy clever...) I had really had little else going for it. The crust was akin to burnt toast, and the cheese reminded me of old chewing gum. The 2 cuts were $2.20, so at least my wallet can't gripe about being beaten. On a personal note, Kay lived above this place for a time before we started dating. "Buzzi," as he is called, also owns the building that houses the pizza parlor. She refused to come in and anxiously waited for me in the car, peeling out of there like a rat on fire when I returned. Little more needs to be said, so I'll stop typing now."

"We order takeout from here so often. Their food is consistent and good. It's a hometown pizza place so we try to visit them when we can. With that said, the online ordering is spotty and clunky. Wait times are bad there right now. They are understaffed. Everyone is, so we've definitely tempered our expectations. Delivery times are long. If you're able it is usually better to pick up your food. Everyone here is friendly and you can tell they're doing their best while needing more staff. I like it here and I'm happy they're close by. We'll continue to order!"
"This place is amazing! The pizza is phenomenal, the staff are so friendly, and the vibe is perfect. Bowling, arcade, pinball, live bands, old school Nintendo, great bar, you really can't lose. I love this place. Can't wait to come back, highly recommend."
"I'd like to comment on the Thanksgiving buffet our family had at DeNunzio's Latrobe. We always enjoy dining there but yesterday's buffet was exceptional. I tried a small spoon of everything and honesty couldn't find a flaw in anything! It was truly a five star experience so much so we've already booked the family Christmas Buffet! Truly delicious food, serving staff over the top attentive and from what I could see and hear the other guests were all raving about the experience! Well done, see you in December!Kevin"
"We stop by this place often on the way to our cabin. The food and atmosphere is very good! They have a full bar and offer a wide variety of food choices. Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, seafood and steaks! They also offer daily specials for each day of the week which are all appetizing. You can't go wrong with the pizza! It's always a hit! They also offer a great kids menu with lots of choices. The service can be a bit slow at times due to short staff, which lefts face it, that is an issue with most places anymore. So go and enjoy yourself, relax and enjoy great food!"
"Heart Attack pizza and sausage pizza were great picks! We also enjoyed the wings, fried mushrooms and fries. Delivery was prompt, no complaints! Food was yummy, would order from this spot again!"
"My son and my boyfriend and I love this place! We spent the afternoon at Mingo Creek and then decided to stop here for a late evening meal. First off, the food was amazing and very affordable! The staff was super friendly and attentive and checked on us and made some good conversation. The owner told us that they even do projected movies in the back of the restaurant outdoors! It's a great view out back, too. I can't say enough great things about Twist & Shake. I've been going here for years and will continue to as often as we can!"
"Always great food and service. Great sports bar area. Also nice it has a restaurant style as well to bring the family"
"I hadn't tried Mikey's in a very long time, for no particular reason. Well, I will definitely be returning more frequently. The food was excellent and you can't beat the prices! A diamond in the rough!"
"going down memory lane and doing Pizza from DNG's was awesome. I took my wife and nephew there. We had a great time while I was visiting Beaver county"
"Typical Western PA fare in a dive-bar atmosphere. The white pizza was really yummy. The crust was a bit chewy but overall it had good flavor. We got two extra large pizzas for our group for only $17, which I thought was a pretty great deal. I went on a Monday night and they had a 50 cent wing special, with a minimum order of 6 wings. They were the whole wing, and fried very crispy, just how I like. Also, they were having a special on Yeungling, and a bottle was only $1.50!!! For inexpensive bar food, Mel's cannot really be beat!*They also offer a nice selection 6 packs to go which is super convenient if you're grabbing food to go!!!!"

As someone who grew up knowing this place as "Eddy's" I was very surprised to see all of the updates that were made to this restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but no alcohol is served outdoors. The inside is very nice, and clean. There were plenty of updates with the seating, and bar area. My sister and I ordered take-out, everything was good. I had the white pizza on cauliflower crust, it was pretty flavorful and cooked very nicely. Cauliflower crust can be tricky to make crispy, but they pulled it off!

I get to Rochester about once a year and always stop at Buzzi's. There is something about the homemade style of this pizza that matches no other. The crust is both thick and crunchy, and being square cut you get both edge pieces with lots of crunch or middle pieces that are all cheesy goodness. The sauce is tangy and savory with just the right spices. The cheese is alway melty and perfect. I will continue making this a yearly stop and if I lived here it would probably be weekly. It's that good. And if seeing a shop entirely staffed with high school kids puts you off, I've never been met with anything but total politeness and good manners here. Oh, and if you order ten pieces you get two free. How cool is that? It's cash only, so stop at the ATM on the way. I give Buzzi's 5 stars and a full happy belly. :)

So close and yet my whole life never gave them a try. So we have tried them and it was so good we came back 3 times in a month and a half. The food is fresh and the portions are hearty. Things are priced a little higher for pizza and the like around here but so far they have shown it to be worth while every time. They are usually busy as all get out with the phones ringing off the hook which tell you a lot!The food is excellent and everything is fresh. Their fries are correctly termed The Potato Patch because they are fresh cut and delicious. I highly recommend trying the 3lb ultimate fry and or the 2lb ultimate fry if 3 is too much for you. It's monstrous and every bite is scrumptious. Get yourself some sour cream or ranch and you'll be set. The pizza is fresh and light and usually kind of thin which we love and all thin and yet some fluffier pieces and fluffy crusts which make the best combo. Delivery can be kind of long but I think they are so busy it comes with the territory then because of it. I would take the delivery window they give you and add 10-15 minutes to it but every time the driver is super apologetic. They have recently hired some new staff in the kitchen which has created some learning curve delays as well. Overall it's a great choice if you're in the mood for good food.

The first time I visited this place, a stand-in bassist for a Scandi metal band stuck gum on my forehead in the middle of the set. He came back a riff later and slurped it back off; a process more involved than you'd think and much longer than I'd hoped. It was disgusting but worth the story, and from that moment I knew this place was going to be legendary.Westside Bowl has somehow eked out a place as a miniature Mecca of metal in the Midwest -- seemingly every new or up-and-coming band my group has wanted to see in the last year has had a show here in the wilds outside of Cleveland. Unassuming from the outside, this venue has two levels and possibly two stages, though I've still only seen performances at the one in the basement. Inside it's decorated in a mix of late 20th century Americana, band merch and typical bar fare, the hallmark of the lower level being their impressive collection of tees from all the groups who've graced their stage. They draw a great crowd and have one of the best happy hours I've seen this decade: 4-8pm every weekday with $1 off cans (making the usual $2 PBRs & Gennys just $1), $2 draft 'Gansetts, $1 hotdogs, and $2 pizza by the slice (among other specials). The pizzas sell as fast as they can come out and taste as good as handmade (they very well may be). The meat-eaters in my party commended the hotdogs and chicken wings, and I had no problem finding plenty to eat as someone who doesn't eat anything that walks for flies. Everything was delicious, though I wish more came in an order given the prices the appetizers are sold for. There are even vegan and gluten-free options for those who need them. Our most recent visit ended with us upstairs as the final songs of the last act (who we only left because we'd just seen them recently) vibrated up to us through the floorboards. We'd all had a bit too much and were giggling and making jokes and not worrying about the bill being too high or rushing to beat the crowd out of the parking lot. That's a feeling you can't get at many places anymore. Somehow we also got roped into playing bingo -- I won a mug, but Plan B was another tempting option. I love the implied paradox of someone being irresponsible enough to go home and hit it raw after a rousing, rowdy round of BINGO (of all things), yet having the foresight to choose the morning after pill as their night's prize. Wild.If I lived closer I'd be here all the time, but I guess I'll have to settle for retreading the 2.5 hour trek from my home in Columbus from time to time. It's well worth the trip and I would argue the same is true for you if you live in a similar vicinity. Oh yeah, you can probably bowl here too, though I've yet to witness it actually happening. The posted pricing ($10 for unlimited) is pretty good though!

Came here hopeful cause it was close to the airport and reviews were good. Maybe they are having a bad night? CONS - First I they advertise excellent bar service and in-fact the Manhattan is engraved on their windows. I ordered a Bourbon Manhattan than can with too much ice, lots of bourbon and no bitters. Ruined a good bourbon.Next - I order the 40.00 8oz Filet Mignon Medium with veggies. I ordered it medium, it came out rare and untested. I sent it back and less than 2 min later THeY BROUGHT ME the same steak I had already cut into, still rare!! Sent it back a third time with clear guidance to bring me a new steak that was MEDIUM. Third time they brought me out the SAME steak and still rare... seriously? After that I was done...Pros - the waitress was awesome, she was trying her best. The manager came and spoke with me, apologized and comped my meal. I also had the lemon cake (home made) and it was delicious!

Stopped in for lunch. There were 3 in our party. Very nice decor. The service was very good and very pleasant. We got the Steak House Burger, Chicken Bacon Ranch Stromboli and Steak and Cheese Sandwich with Gouda Mac & Cheese. All were very good. Will stop back again.

Fun place. Kind of a carnival booth/living room feel. Seemed to be family run. Pizza is top notch and reasonably priced. I would take this over the big chains any day. Sauce has a nice sweet taste to it. Service was friendly and fun. Family was all happy. No masks or covid protocols being followed if that concerns you.

"Food is awesome probably best pizza in valley. But I feel like service has gone down. ordered 2 hrs in advanced and order wasn't ready and made me late for a family event feel like everyone there doesn't care as much as they should. Kind of hit or miss cause when certain people are there it's great."
"The pizza is great. They care about what they are doing. It's a great place to relax, have a slice, and enjoy a drink. Highly recommend."
"Defelice is some DAMN good pizza. The crust is crunchy but yet soft. The sauce is mild and a perfect complement to the mountains of melted cheese on top. Hell, when I was in high school, a few boxes of DeFelice would be delivered and sold in the cafeteria every day... and it ALWAYS sold out. Usually before I got some :(A testament to the quality: they have a pretty decent selection of toppings available, but I ALWAYS just ordered cheese. It's all that sweet 'za needed :)"
"I love Aviva Brick Oven! The pizza is amazing. I've eaten most of the pizzas on the menu and haven't had one I didn't like. My go to favorite is the Bianca with hot crumbled sausage added to it. I regularly went to the Warrendale location but we moved to Zelie a few years ago so we were only going rarely. When I heard they were taking over the old Union Bro's location up here, I was thrilled. We stopped in last night to check them out and was thrilled. The space is smaller but the food was just as spectacular. I love that it is closer now. I'll be coming in regularly."
"Excellent pizza! We ordered an extra large with pepperoni and a large poor man's pizza (plain white). Amazing crust & sauce. Absolutely delicious! Kind, attentive service. Good price! Well worth a visit for pick-up or call for delivery!"
"They have a good gluten-free crust. Even though things are getting better with gluten-free options, most are still fairly poor. This one is pretty good."
"Love love love the cheese pizza. I think it's one of the best pizzas in our area. Nobody out does the extra cheese. Cooked to perfection sauce is excellent. Subs aren't bad either"
"I've been here twice and the food is incredible! The house salad dressing is a homemade balsamic vinaigrette that tastes amazing! It's sweet and tastes great! The penne pasta with meatballs was great too. Very reasonably priced! Well done, Gia's!!!! Bravo!!!!!"
"The pizza is a great and they were very helpful catering a 50th birthday party. There was a big room in the back. You can have drinks up front and it's reasonably priced."
"I am excited to know we have another Italian place in the area! Small town homemade feel!! The bread was excellent. Also enjoyed their blush sauce which is a good go between the Alfredo and red sauce. Everyone was very friendly and helpful."
"Put simply: Slice on Broadway is where I go when I want really good pizza! And good food. But mostly good pizza.Usually I create my own pie, although you really can't go wrong with their regular menu, either. I especially recommend their margherita pizza; those ingredients and flavors on Slice's thin pizza crusts are the perfect pairing. That said, you also can't go wrong with an order of breadsticks or garlic knots - there is no shame in going straight for the carbs when they're so delicious. And don't snooze on the hoagies or salads! They make for a tasty lunchtime treat. While Slice serves up plenty of standard options (I.e. good ol' Italian hoagies, grilled chicken salads, etc.), my current goal is to try their Gonzo Hoagie.Add on that the employees have always been nice and have always given accurate times on how long for an order, and all of this makes for one very happy customer. I've never had a bad experience or bad meal from Slice on Broadway.Bonus tip: this local recommends bringing some dinner from this pizza shop over to Apis Meadery sometime - it's hard to beat a relaxing evening with pizza, mead, and friends!"
"Best gluten free pizza. Price is right. They say there may be cross contamination but I have not gotten sick and I am celiac"
"Great place to eat. Food is delicious. Open late and very convenient. I would come here again."
"First time here and loved it. Quiet Friday afternoon so the place wasn't crowded, but I liked the local day drinkers at the bar(s) and the laid back atmosphere. The new(er) outdoor dining room and bar is fantastic. I chose to eat al fresco and that was a perfect choice. My Smash Burger was a delicious, juicy, two handed treat and the accompanying seasoned fries were da' bomb! Since it was my birthday, I treated myself to a lunchtime Long Island Iced Tea, which was served "properly" in a TALL glass! I highly recommend this "old standard" hangout turned NEW. I'm guessing Thursday Bike nights, with a Corona bucket special, is a crowded fun time. I'll be back!!"
"Awesome, tasty pizza from genuine people. Our go to is pepperoni, mushroom, banana peppers. Highly recommend!"
"Hang on, lemme finish chewing.... OK, so Maisie's Pizza in McCandless is the shizz. Had a Meats pizza and Damn! This pie is all the things. This joint is a hole-in-the-wall, y'know like all the best places are - and it's straight-up DUNKING on the pizza game. VERY impressive. In irony, it's like DOORS away from another (puny, mortal) pizza joint, silently laughing all the way. After that first bite, I had to take a good look at the pizza like "where's all THAT tasty coming from?".Seriously, it's the most ordinary-looking pizza, but the crust, sauce and cheese are just PERFECT! The bangin' tomatoey acid from the sauce off-setting the *really good* cheese, sitting on crust you can eat naked. It's just... pizza. But it's GOOD pizza - and that's rare.I don't know who Maisie is, but damn, girl... (*enter innuendo here*) LOL! I got your number baby. Om nom nom!"
"Stopped for directions ended up staying for lunch. Fantastic! Great service and conversation made my day. Try the Italian with everything"
"Friendly atmosphere with lots of TVs the best part we're the $2.00 pizza slices. The pizza is made right in front of you and was some of the best I've had in the area. The place was really clean and the staff super friendly"
"Ordered a pepperoni and white pizza. They were both outstanding. Everyone was so nice, from the guy who took my order over the phone, to the cooks, to the delivery driver who opened the door for me when I was coming in and leaving...Great experience. Will definitely be back!"
"Some of the best pizza you'll get in Pittsburgh, PA. An XL, Extra cheese is always my go to - but I LOVE their spinach and artichoke pizza SO much too - it's hard to not get both! Service is always great and on time. Thanks for creating some of the best extra cheese a girl could ask for!*located behind dianoias*"
"I love this place and I wished I had more time to revisit. We ordered two "cuts", one with meatballs and one with pepperoni. Both came with copious amounts of meat, and both meats and pizza dough were delicious. I asked about the chicken wings and surprisingly Fiori's make their own buffalo sauce. I had to get them, and they were one of the best wings I have ever had. All in all, amazing food, amazing people, amazing ambiance. Not the place to take a date, but your date may love it."
"What, you haven't been to Bellisario's yet? This is about the only red sauce pizza I ever get a craving for, and boy howdy is it good. The crust is on the thin side and ever so crisp on the bottom, while still having enough dough on the edge to provide a nice chewy bit at the end of your slice. The dough itself is flavorful, not too... well, doughy. The sauce is great, and they don't drown the pizza in it. There's just enough cheese; not so much it's an overwhelming grease slick and not so little you can't tell it's there. If you can go while Mama's working, all the better. You can eat in here; they have four or five booths and generations worth of family photos on the walls. Two of us split a small (8-cut) pizza with one topping ($9) and with our two cans of pop we were out for $10. You can't beat that. And I'd put Bellisario's pizza up against any in the city.I grew up a five minute walk away. My mom loved Bellisario's and I have a lot of fond memories of walking through the alley to pick up a cheese pizza to bring home, my mom being too dollar-conscious to pay for delivery when there were perfectly able-bodied children around to go pick it up. Every time I have a slice, it brings back great memories. But I've had outside confirmation that it really is as awesome as I think it is.It's a little divey, stuck in the back of an old shopping plaza, but it's perfect. If you're in West Mifflin (say, going to Kennywood), drive over and eat a pizza. They've also got hoagies and calzones, and I think that's about it. But with pizza this good, who cares?"
"Incredible pizza, from the middle of the pizza to the crust. So much amazing flavor. Also the square pizza is also fantastic too! I would highly recommend to anyone! Try this pizza! Top Notch!"
