"This is another one of those places my husband and I'd been meaning to try for awhile. It's a charming space, occupying a nondescript commercial building. We'd never tried Taiwanese food before, and I must say that it's a far cry from your normal Americanized Chinese food places (although I do like that kind of chow.)As an appetizer, I tried the Bean Curd Vegetable Soup with egg and my husband went for the Gua Bao Porkbelly Bun. Now I like quid, so I tried the Taiwanese Style Squid Stir fry, which was very good. My husband, a spicy food lover, tried the Chicken With Basil in Garlic in a Hot pot. Presentation of the food was good. The service was okay. We will be coming back soon."
"I really had a good meal here. BYOB and intimate. Cool spot. Service was great as well."

"Great hangover recovery place takoyaki we're amazing! Giyoza shrimp dumplings ok I was definitely a wrong ramen so I order a seafood Tom yum...flavorless but a portion was good. Will be back but try smth else."
"Super fresh and delicious! Fast and friendly service and everything we tried was delicious! Will be back for the Pho noodle soup with DACBIET (beef, brisket,&beefball)!"
"Good food! So happy on our trip we found a good Asian restaurant. I know my daughter will not starve lol after we ate there I felt comforted leaving her at Penn.Peace of mind and good food."
"Loved this Thai restaurant and can't believe it took us this long to try it. We came in right when it opened and there were already folks waiting to get in. We got Boat Noodles, Panang curry, Chicken fried rice and Mango sticky rice for dessert. Our main dishes were cooked with spice level 3, except the my boat noodles was a 4. The spice was just right for us and anything more would make the dish very difficult to enjoy. We have been to Thailand several times and this place transported us back to Bangkok! The dishes were pretty large and the price point was right on. This will be our top Thai restaurant in this part of town."
"Went here for lunch with co-workers & I was really impressed! The menu was extensive, tons of options for everyone! The food was delicious & so were the drinks. We ordered the pork dumplings, chicken goyza, & vegetables dumplings to share and all were very flavorful. The dipping sauce was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals! There was a good amount of space for a place in Oakland, we had a party of 7 & there were several large tables. It wasn't busy at all, but the service was a bit slow. They were super kind & accommodating though! I would definitely recommend & go again!"
"As a traveler I depend on accurate reviews to make my selections of food choices. I do like to try a variety of foods, and sometimes, out of the way places. Thai, is one of my favorite foods and I was not disappointed by the Curry Duck. It came out perfect temperature and the flavor was amazing. The service was awesome. I never had to wait for someone to check on me, and they were very cordial and always smiling; that's a huge plus for me. The ambiance was that if most Thai places but still was very colorful and clean. I would definitely venture here again."
"Food was so good 5/5 devoured the chicken katsu curry ramen $15 with seaweed salad $5 as the appetizer. College students with casual welcoming vibe. Nice attentive employees fast paced. I would go again."

Cafe 33 selections are always delicious no matter how many times i go! every menu item tastes fabulous and very nostalgic. The service is usually pretty fast and they always check up on you during the meal. It is more a fast paced setting due to their popularity, but I still enjoy going whenever I can.

Great little place. Nice atmosphere and decor. Waitress was really nice and did not rush us. We had a nice dinner and were able to take our time and enjoy the food. We share the Moo Yang (very tasty) and Dumplings (OK, not as tasty and falling apart) to start. Everyone had different meals and everyone was really enjoyed their meal. The Duck curry had a nice rich flavor.Love it is BYOB!

4.5 stars. Ramen Bar serves appetizers (e.g., egg rolls and edamame), salads, stir-fried noodles, rice bowls, udon, desserts (e.g, mochi ice cream), beverages (e.g., teas, sodas, and juices), and, of course, ramen. The ramen broths are simmered for over 8 hours, and customers may customize their ramens with dozens of toppings (e.g., egg, corn, tofu, kim chi, seaweed, bamboo, eggplant, chicken, and fish cake). My husband and I ate lunch here one time. The employees promptly and politely seated us, took our orders, brought out our foods, and took our payment. I rate the service as 5 stars. Here are my ratings for the menu items that we ordered:Vegetable gyoza dumplings - 4.5 stars - Several gyoza dumplings were filled with a vegetable mixture and served with soy sauce.Takoyaki - 3.5 stars - When I was in Japan, I did not like takoyaki or octopus balls at all. I actually liked these takoyaki better. They contained a little octopus meat and were topped with bonito flakes. Seafood Ramen - 4.5 stars - This soup was a huge serving size. I chose a miso base, which was flavorful. Other ingredients were ramen noodles, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, green onions, scallops, mussels, and squid. Wonton Men - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this soup, and he described it as "good." It contained ramen noodles, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, green onions, pork wontons, and a chunk of pork. Hot green tea - 5 stars - A mug was filled with a nice hot green tea that warmed me up on the cold winter day. In addition to dining in, customers may order through DoorDash, Uber Eats, and GrubHub.

Big bowl has been around for years. For some reason I have just recently discovered it. Several of my favorite chinese restaurants have declined, due to the pandemic?, or have shut down in recent years. So we started to branch out and gave the Bowl a try.I've only tried a few menu items but here's my initial take. The portions are big! They are not shy with the sauce. Everything had good flavor. The chicken was pre fried and then sauced per order. The white rice was moist and fresh. For now this is our go to for fast food chinese stop. I've had better but I'm happy with their offerings.

We had chicken pad Thai, Tom yum, chicken fried rice, and thai pho. We just moved here from Oklahoma where there's a large Vietnamese population and some of the best pho in the country and I must say, I may enjoy the Thai pho here more. My husbands chicken pad Thai was true to the restaurants name, the real deal. We really enjoyed our meal here. Mind you, this is a restaurant in a small strip mall, you come for the food and the kind service!

"We came here on recommendation of one in our party who'd been here multiple times. Good choice. Service might be average but the food was great. Portions big with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Salmon poke bowl, vegetarian poke bowl, Korean japcheau noodles, pork bu, and crab rangoons were all splendid. We were stuffed and our tastebuds tickling!"
"It's a good place with authentic food and genuinely nice ownership. I've been here three times and I've had almost every dumpling they offer. You will not be disappointed. The dumplings are like works of art. Sometimes it's not very packed, other times every table is full. They've been in the restaurant business for a long time!I like the Red Shiso soda. I also love the Wide Noodles with Egg and Tomato, it is so fun to share with a friend. The dumplings are amazing and the ladies who run the place are great people. One note is that the Lamb Mince Soup is not as beautiful or as good as the picture. It's a pretty good value and definitely filling. Good for special occasions. They use Szechuan peppercorns, so good. You will get MSG here probably, just so you know."
"Absolutely the best ramen! Ordered the meatball & beef! Broth is perfect & meat is so tender! Also ordered salmon sashimi as app- so fresh!Service was excel! Second time there and will be back!!"
"New favorite place for Thai? I think so! We recently tried Ocha for dinner a couple of nights ago, and I was pleasantly surprised! Typically I'm a Noodlehead or Thai & Noodle Outlet girly, but I just became a fan of Ocha. We both had the Pad See Ew, his with chicken and mine with tofu. I'll probably go up one spice level (to 3) next time, but the flavor and portion were perfect!"
"Serviceable takeout Chinese. I guess it used to be a sit-down restaurant pre-Covid, but it's only takeout and delivery now. The food is good and hits the spot. It's not anything special, but it's inexpensive and they deliver. I'm definitely a fan."
"I ordered through the app so I can't describe the service, but I will say that my order was ready from what it stated in the app and my meal was 100% accurate. Just from going in and picking up my food, the place is very nice and bright. There were quite a few people there so business must be good! This rating is towards my order: Garlic Butter Shrimp Stir-Fry.I get home and I unpack my order. I think that it was just the meal, but between the regular sauce and garlic butter sauce I ordered - this was one of the most oiliest meals I have ever had. This bowl has egg white noodles, roasted shrimp, mushrooms, scallions, snow peas, sesame seeds, and chili crisps. All these plus the sauces made for one delicious tasting meal. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of shrimp that comes with bowl - there was about 7 shrimp and if you want extra shrimp it's an extra $4.10 (on the app)! And these shrimp weren't big at all, they were the tiny shrimp so the price point for it all was a bit disappointing too. Besides the lack of shrimp and the bowl being so oily, it really was delicious! I will definitely be back to try the other orders!"
"Great parkingClean FriendlyWelcoming Gave us extra waterFood was great. Plenty of chicken and full of flavors.Pad Thai was great. New favorite dishGreen Curry was full of flavor and fresh vegetables"
"Service was extremely fast, stopped in and said wait was 20 minutes, food was being hand delivered in less than 10 minutes. Both dishes were very good and full of flavor. Kung Pao was spicy but not over the top. I would definitely be back."
"Perfectly understandable to figure out your kinks in the early days of opening, but our service and food were both pretty egregiously bad out of the gate here. While I know it's hot out, the wall air conditioning isn't keeping up and I was sweating through my whole meal. The kitchen clearly has issues right now, food is coming out of order... I got my ramen 30 minutes before my sushi but no one else got their food. The wait staff is running around apologizing to everyone but they aren't trained on how to use their ordering system, what each food is and how to deal with these types of situations.I had the Tonkotsu ramen which unfortunately was the most bland ramen I've ever had in my life. The sushi was fine, but after being here for almost 2 hours I don't think I'd ever come back other than maybe take out.I'd recommend the owner bring in the staff to work through some things and work a bit on their logistics and training."
"Steam table hot pot - you choose your noodles, your ingredients and your soup base and they prepare it for you.Fresh ingredients are fairly limited - cabbage, book choy, lettuce and broccoli. Most of the ingredients are frozen processed foods. I, fortunately, love fish and tofu products smashed together together in all their glorious cake and patty forms. It is worth noting that the crazy hot soup base is primarily flavored with Szechuan peppercorn. An overall solid addition to Squirrel Hill, but not a shining star."
"As evident by my photos, I've been coming to Noodlehead for over 7 years! It's wild even for me to think about. It's wilder to know that they now accept credit cards! I know, I never thought I'd see this day come...*sheds tear of joy*The good thing is that the food, taste and quality have remained. They've even added some new tasty items to the menu. I recently tried the chive cakes as enjoyed them. While the price has increased from like $10 to $14 for entrees (yup it was inevitable), I'm happy to report that it's still worth it. And still BYOB.The staff is always friendly, patient with inconsiderate patrons, and helpful. Come here for lunch on a weekday; it's quiet and chill. Come after 5pm on a weekend, it's loud and busy. You'll probably wait at least 30 minutes even for two."
"Fun and funny interactive staff always makes a restaurant experience even better! I love when you're not just another person to serve, but the staff goes out of their way to laugh with you, especially while you wait for a table. We stopped in for a snack of two dumpling orders and spicy cucumbers. These were the best pork and crab soup dumplings I've had, and they are typically not my favorite variety. The flavors were nicely balanced and the crab was subtle instead of overpowering. Sitting at the bench is cool, especially with little ones, so you can watch the chefs make dumplings and noodles! Also noteworthy: this area of Pittsburgh was great for wandering in and out of stores, restaurants, and cafes."
