"As a traveler I depend on accurate reviews to make my selections of food choices. I do like to try a variety of foods, and sometimes, out of the way places. Thai, is one of my favorite foods and I was not disappointed by the Curry Duck. It came out perfect temperature and the flavor was amazing. The service was awesome. I never had to wait for someone to check on me, and they were very cordial and always smiling; that's a huge plus for me. The ambiance was that if most Thai places but still was very colorful and clean. I would definitely venture here again."

"This is another one of those places my husband and I'd been meaning to try for awhile. It's a charming space, occupying a nondescript commercial building. We'd never tried Taiwanese food before, and I must say that it's a far cry from your normal Americanized Chinese food places (although I do like that kind of chow.)As an appetizer, I tried the Bean Curd Vegetable Soup with egg and my husband went for the Gua Bao Porkbelly Bun. Now I like quid, so I tried the Taiwanese Style Squid Stir fry, which was very good. My husband, a spicy food lover, tried the Chicken With Basil in Garlic in a Hot pot. Presentation of the food was good. The service was okay. We will be coming back soon."

"It's a good place with authentic food and genuinely nice ownership. I've been here three times and I've had almost every dumpling they offer. You will not be disappointed. The dumplings are like works of art. Sometimes it's not very packed, other times every table is full. They've been in the restaurant business for a long time!I like the Red Shiso soda. I also love the Wide Noodles with Egg and Tomato, it is so fun to share with a friend. The dumplings are amazing and the ladies who run the place are great people. One note is that the Lamb Mince Soup is not as beautiful or as good as the picture.It's a pretty good value and definitely filling. Good for special occasions. They use Szechuan peppercorns, so good.You will get MSG here probably, just so you know."

"Atmosphere/Service: Honestly, the place looks run down and like a hole in the wall but sometimes that's where you get the best food. One thing I did hate however, was the fact that you place your order on the phone and then when you get there, you have to go through the drive thru to pick up your order. Not a fan. It was packed and I was in the drive thru for about 10-15 minutes. The lady who took my card and gave me my food was very nice though. Food: I am not understanding AT ALL the one star reviews on Yelp. The food was amazing and that was probably the best general tsos and chicken lo mein I have ever had. I didn't try the egg roll but my fiancé said it was super amazing as well. I am eager to try the bourbon chicken next time. We just moved to Akron so this will definitely be our go-to spot when we need a Chinese food fix."

I love when you're not just another person to serve, but the staff goes out of their way to laugh with you, especially while you wait for a table. We stopped in for a snack of two dumpling orders and spicy cucumbers. These were the best pork and crab soup dumplings I've had, and they are typically not my favorite variety. The flavors were nicely balanced and the crab was subtle instead of overpowering. Sitting at the bench is cool, especially with little ones, so you can watch the chefs make dumplings and noodles! Also noteworthy: this area of Pittsburgh was great for wandering in and out of stores, restaurants, and cafes."

So this place is one I stop at whenever I'm down in that area, like near McNight rd in Pittsburgh, pick up a couple dishes for the wife and myself. I usually get the chicken larb. Always get the chicken pad Thai extra peanuts for wife. Spice level 3 of 5 is a barely warm heat. Really, it is pretty Americanized, but, is really close to Thai. I was in the Air Force. When I joined back in 1981, lot of my friends had Thai wives. So I know what good Thai is supposed to taste like. And this place is pretty darn close. Wish I had some pix of the food. Take my word for it. Pretty darn good."

We ordered the pork dumplings, chicken goyza, & vegetables dumplings to share and all were very flavorful. The dipping sauce was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals! There was a good amount of space for a place in Oakland, we had a party of 7 & there were several large tables. It wasn't busy at all, but the service was a bit slow. They were super kind & accommodating though! I would definitely recommend & go again!"

While I know it's hot out, the wall air conditioning isn't keeping up and I was sweating through my whole meal.The kitchen clearly has issues right now, food is coming out of order... I got my ramen 30 minutes before my sushi but no one else got their food. The wait staff is running around apologizing to everyone but they aren't trained on how to use their ordering system, what each food is and how to deal with these types of situations.I had the Tonkotsu ramen which unfortunately was the most bland ramen I've ever had in my life. The sushi was fine, but after being here for almost 2 hours I don't think I'd ever come back other than maybe take out.I'd recommend the owner bring in the staff to work through some things and work a bit on their logistics and training."

"I ordered through the app so I can't describe the service, but I will say that my order was ready from what it stated in the app and my meal was 100% accurate. Just from going in and picking up my food, the place is very nice and bright. There were quite a few people there so business must be good! This rating is towards my order: Garlic Butter Shrimp Stir-Fry.I get home and I unpack my order. I think that it was just the meal, but between the regular sauce and garlic butter sauce I ordered - this was one of the most oiliest meals I have ever had. This bowl has egg white noodles, roasted shrimp, mushrooms, scallions, snow peas, sesame seeds, and chili crisps. All these plus the sauces made for one delicious tasting meal. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of shrimp that comes with bowl - there was about 7 shrimp and if you want extra shrimp it's an extra $4.10 (on the app)! And these shrimp weren't big at all, they were the tiny shrimp so the price point for it all was a bit disappointing too. Besides the lack of shrimp and the bowl being so oily, it really was delicious! I will definitely be back to try the other orders!"

"As evident by my photos, I've been coming to Noodlehead for over 7 years! It's wild even for me to think about. It's wilder to know that they now accept credit cards! I know, I never thought I'd see this day come...*sheds tear of joy*The good thing is that the food, taste and quality have remained. They've even added some new tasty items to the menu. I recently tried the chive cakes as enjoyed them. While the price has increased from like $10 to $14 for entrees (yup it was inevitable), I'm happy to report that it's still worth it. And still BYOB.The staff is always friendly, patient with inconsiderate patrons, and helpful. Come here for lunch on a weekday; it's quiet and chill. Come after 5pm on a weekend, it's loud and busy. You'll probably wait at least 30 minutes even for two."

"Loved this Thai restaurant and can't believe it took us this long to try it. We came in right when it opened and there were already folks waiting to get in. We got Boat Noodles, Panang curry, Chicken fried rice and Mango sticky rice for dessert. Our main dishes were cooked with spice level 3, except the my boat noodles was a 4. The spice was just right for us and anything more would make the dish very difficult to enjoy. We have been to Thailand several times and this place transported us back to Bangkok! The dishes were pretty large and the price point was right on. This will be our top Thai restaurant in this part of town."
