"Best views of Pittsburgh & I get to ride a tram to it? Yes, please! Altius in Pittsburg is a must visit restaurant but get a reservation. It offers some of the best views of the city. While enjoying dinner, the city works below you. It's a stunning backdrop for dinner. I had a wonderful evening, enhanced by the super attentive staff who made sure every detail was perfect. I decided to play chef and customized their burrata salad by adding shrimp and a scallop. What a total power play. Loved it!"
"Every single time I make it to the commoner it's a 20/10 - and it never misses with the food. I got a bonus to stay at the hotel Monaco that night to give the full experience. One of my favorite hotels and restaurants downtown! If you haven't been it's worth heading to!"

"We tried Out of the Fire over the weekend for our Valentine's Day date and it was pretty good! We made a reservation and had to wait a bit, but understandable with it being a holiday weekend. We got seated and the ambiance was very nice. They had a few specials so we decided to try the ricotta cheese appetizer. It was delicious and we really enjoyed it. We each got a drink to start as well. I had a cocktail and my husband tried a beer. They have a great drink menu. We then ordered dinner - I got salmon and tried a cup of their mushroom soup, and my husband got the wagyu burger. We were offered bread after our appetizer, which we found odd, but opted to have it since I figured it would be good with my soup (sadly it came out with our meals, after I had finished the soup). Our entrees were very tasty and very generous serving sizes. I enjoyed my salmon and all of the attention to detail with the ingredients. We ate our meal and had ordered another round of drinks - me opting for a white wine and my husband with another one of their yummy IPA offerings. We would definitely come back! Thanks for a great date night."
"Personally, I wasn't blown away by anything, but the rest of my party enjoyed their meal. Classic bar atmosphere, clean and quite spacious. Service was good, and the prices were average I guess. My salad was pretty boring, but the chicken was good. I tried the tacos which were tasty--but mainly just for the corn tortillas. The highlight was the sliding high-top tables. Not my fave, but keeping it objective."
"We had a larger group come in for an 11 AM reservation before the Steelers/Ravens game. We showed up early to try to be seated a little early to make sure we made it to the game in time. The hostess was really accommodating and made it work for our group despite the restaurant being fairly busy. Our server was Dani who got our drinks and took our orders quickly. I opted for the "basically bottomless" mimosas for $15. Dani kept them coming and my glass full! Most of our group opted to order off their grilled cheese menu (as opposed to the brunch menu). I got the "It's always sunny in Philadelphia" which had cheese, steak, peppers, and onions. Their grilled cheeses come with tomato soup and chips. I opted to sub my chips for waffle fries. My reason for taking off a star is that our food took almost an hour to come out. However, Dani checked in with us frequently to let us know that the kitchen was backed up and that our food should arrive soon. When the food arrived, I think overall everyone enjoyed their grilled cheese. I will say it looked more like a toasted sandwich than a grilled cheese - it didn't have the traditional grilled outside. I guess they just toast them or throw them in the oven rather than grilling them? It still tasted good but wasn't really what we expected. Overall, we had a nice time at brunch! The kitchen was backed up but they were busy so we understood. The service was what still made this an overall positive experience. Kudos to Dani, she was awesome!"
"Oatmeal pie. You must try it. It's similar to baked oatmeal, but even more delicious! I also enjoyed the sour hard cider. So unique and good. On an entire campus, there's a little gift shop, three goats (kids under twelve get free for free to give to the goats), a tavern, and a restaurant inside a 1762 historic space. Service is excellent and there's a large parking lot out front."
"I have been meaning to try out Federal Galley for years now, so I got a group of my girlfriends together and we gave it a shot. All in all, I really enjoyed my time here. The happy hour, on Tuesdays through Fridays from 4:30-6:30, is one of the best around. All beer, wine, and cocktails are half off! With that said, our drinks were delicious! We also loved the different options of restaurants to choose from. Overall, our favorites were the pizza place and the soft pretzel. There is a decent amount of seating as well. Thankfully it was nice out, so we were able to sit outside at one of the picnic tables, but it did get busy. The bartenders were very kind, and each different restaurant's employees were as well. The place as a whole is a super cool concept. I think it's safe to say that we will be back!"
"It's ok ... not bad but not really good. The beer was cold. They allow pets which is a huge plus and reason to go back. They even have their own menu."
"Service was excellent, steak was well cooked and seasoned. Dessert definitely stole the show...amazing!!!"
"Delicious food! Great service and a super fun place to watch football! Had the beer pretzel which was huge, and was delicious!!"
"Such a great place! They always got great drink and food specials to go with the season. It's always busy and of course has a great view of the city."
"Food was good. Glad they brought back the meatball hoagie. Staff is still Great. Bartender Brett - Warm and friendlyAmbiance bar area is the best area to eat and hang."

Bring your big wallet.3) The food is excellent! Every dish was great! This place is a perfect place to bring friends, colleagues, and that special someone in your life. It is expensive but don't let that scare you. Great place! Great food! Excellent service! Amazing city view. Love it!

Everything we tried here was amazing. I didn't have my phone with me so I didn't get pictures of dinner - it was good! We had brunch here and it was delicious! We happened to visiting for restaurant week so we took advantage of the 3 courses for 45! Staff was great, ask for George! He has been working here for over 8 years and is honest, friendly and like cool cucumber! Try the espresso martini, you will not regret it!

Popular spot in rural Donegal. Popular spot with a large, varied menu and extensive drink menu. Service was very polite and attentive, and they were able to accommodate a party of ten with advanced notice. Building has a rustic feel, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The Pimento cheese appetizer was quite good, with very flavorful cheese and curried veggies. The deviled eggs were also good, but too much focus on the pork belly and not enough on the actual egg filling. Both were decent. The burger was quite disappointing unfortunately. Firstly, they claim it's a smash burger, but it's not. Secondly, it was overcooked. Third, it was $20. If you're going to charge that for a burger, it needs to be incredible, and this just wasn't. They have much better options. The smoked salmon sandwich was also interesting in the sense it was cooked salmon. Often smoked salmon is raw, so just be aware if that's what you want. Lastly, the Ruben was a pretty great offering, tho they forgot the thousand island initially, or used very little. That was an easy fix. Sweet potato fries were great, but the Chipotle aioli was... Not chipotle? Not sure how to describe it, but it had a very unique, albeit not chipotle, flavor.Overall, a pretty good spot in an area without many options. Reservations are needed and understandably so. They need to make some easy tweaks to their menu items, but overall, a decent spot whether you're passing through or a local.

Came here for a dinner with friends and the food was pretty good! The pretzel was so soft and the beer cheese was great to dip into. The drinks were great too, and came fairly quickly. The seitan wings were pretty good, but the hot buffalo sauce was slightly too salty for me. The waitress for our table was super nice and helpful! Overall great experience at Industry!

Excellent date night. A bit loud but good was amazing and service was great. The hostess was miserable but the rest of the staff were great. The pretzel was soft and crunchy on the outside. Dips weee really good. Friend green tomato grilled cheese was outstanding. Chicken sandwich and fries were also a great choice. The arsenal cider was amazing.

I got the fish and chips here as well as a stout beer to wash it down. Loved the staff who took care and of us and our drinks. It has a local vibe, yet is close enough to the main road that you get a lot a visitors cone in for a meal on their way across the state. Desserts a good as well.

Sixteen fifty for a tiny bowl of food. Pretty tasty, but not worth it. Even in "this economy."(Specific gripe is with the Jamaican place. Not sure about others.)

"I cannot get enough of this spot! Prompt & Friendly service. Best espresso martini I've ever had. And the food was incredible. We got the mac & cheese and the burger and both were truly top notch. I loved the intimate/cozy setting, too. It makes for the perfect date night spot. Especially with an incredible view of the city from the overlook just steps away."
"We got here 30 minutes before lunch service closed and didnt get the stink eye. Got to score a table outside on the river, on a beautiful fall day. Awesome. So was the food. Had a veggie melt on pita and ole boy had the cheeseburger. Both were very good. But the French fries were outstanding. We both agreed they were perfectly cooked & salted. The service was outstanding (young college student)About 3 miles from interstate; lots of curvy, hilly roads to get there, but worth going out of your way for!"
"Big fan of this dive bar! Perfect place if you need quick food and a drink, and can sit at the bar. Also great to go with a group after a long bike ride on the trails! All the wraps are 10/10. Pump track wrap and rail trail are my favorite. I've had the best burgers ever here but they are not consistent. I think it depends on who is cooking because sometimes the are cooked to perfection, and other times they are dry and over done. But the toppings are always unique and good. Service is what you would expect from a dive bar, always friendly and attentive but let you be with your food and beer. Cool place."
"This place is rath plane and basic from the outside, but inside it's very nice! Somewhat upscale (cloth napkins, etc), with a very creative menu, and excellent service. Came here for lunch with a coworker and really enjoyed the entire experience, from the food to the service.Their fish sandwich is HUGE, with a fried cod filet on it that's three times larger than the bun! The cheeseburger soup (which was the soup of the day when I stopped in) was creative, tasty and, really enjoyable! Save room for dessert though, they have an amazing dessert menu!I would most definitely return and highly recommend stopping in to try it for yourself!"
"My daughter and I had dinner at the Foundry before the Taylor Swift concert. We KNEW every place in North Shore was going to be slammed and prepared ourselves for long waits and less than stellar service. We were shocked when this wasn't the case. While we did wait in a long queue for a table, once we were seated, the waitress was fast on her feet. The food was served quickly. Everything tasted great. I had the pierogies and my daughter had the grilled cheese. Both were delicious. I also appreciated that they had a couple of Taylor Swift themed drinks. The "Champagne Problems" was yummy. We were seated in the front section which is a bar area with high top tables. I didn't get a chance to look at the back."
"Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich. Service was great and the place is very comfortable."
"I haven't been to Bluebird Kitchen in a long time! I had a meeting downtown so this was a convenient lunch spot. I love that they have so many vegetarian options. I was deciding between the veggie sandwich, soup, or tuna nicoise salad. I decided to order the salad, which I learned was premade in the cooler. It was okay, and I loved the assortment of olives. It wasn't great though, and the serving size was small compared to other lunch places that offer similar salads. The dressing options were a champagne or red wine vinaigrette. I was glad that they had a few seats inside so I could eat it there. As soon as it hit 12:30, the lunch rush filed in. I recommend going early! 11:45 am seemed to be the perfect time for no line. I will definitely eat there again soon and plan to try the veggie sandwich of the month!"
"We had a fantastic dinner tonight. Alta Via is one of my favorites for Italian! The drinks are always good and the service is top notch. Tonight we shared the Little Gem salad (not pictured) and we each got a small portion for our main course. I normally get the Bucatini, but tonight I went with the Ricotta Ravioli in a Lemon cream sauce with sweet corn. 5 stars! My husband had the Rigatoni and meatballs. The meatballs were tender and you could tell they were slow cooked in the sauce. Dessert was the Chocolate Torte. This was a miss for me just because of the density of the chocolate. The flavor was amazing just too rich for me."
"Absolutely love Shelly Pie! Doing a job in Turtle Creek I've become a bit of a regular at this fine establishment. The Pizza, hoagies, soups, daily specials are remarkable at unbeatable price. Great selection of beer and they have their own cocktails. The service is always amazing Brittany and Tabby always do an A++ job! The atmosphere is cool an old VFW turned into a modern day pizza restaurant perfect mix of the old meets the new. If you are ever in Turtle Creek or passing through I couldn't recommend this place anymore!"
"Skip the trip to the city for your refined palette. This is hands down the best eatery in the area. Friendly service, attention to detail and nuance in the dishes, and a full bar. The vibes are , too."
"Great local steakhouse'ish. Good food. Good service. Bar can get crowded but they do a good job of moving things along. Ambiance is more relaxed on the bar side. But great place for a family dinner or date night."
"Food was pretty good. The steaks were grilled perfectly. 1 medium and 1 medium-well. The true Pittsburgh Pierogis lived up to the reputation. Service was crazy good. It was a slow night but, you can tell they hustle here. The neighborhood is sketch AF. Make no mistake. However, the place is spotless inside, renovated and very cozy. Soft lighting but not dark. And some TV's to watch the Pens!!!!"
"Amazing Sunday brunch! Great food and service. $12 Make your own Bloody Mary bar was interesting and fun experience! Definitely will come back!"
"We came here for brunch a few Sundays ago. They do not accept reservations, but they have a waitlist and will let you know via text message where you are in line and estimated wait. We got here a little after 2pm. It was intended, I thought maybe by then it would not be too busy. I. Was. Wrong. The gal who checked us in told us we have 4 people in front of you and we close at 3pm. It was packed and very loud, more on that later. We accepted the challenge and got on the wait list. To kill time, we strolled the streets of Lawrenceville in the rain. When we got back to the restaurant we were quickly seated and given two water glasses and no water. We looked at the menu while we waited so I knew what I was ordering. The server came to our table quickly and I ordered an espresso martini and the VEGETARIAN CHORIZO CUBANO, no cheese. It came with fries or a side salad, I opted for the salad with their house made champagne vinaigrette. My drink was delivered very quickly, it was decent. The noise in this place was so loud you would have thought you were at a bar watching the Steelers win a super bowl. I mean so loud, I could not hear my husband or anything else for that matter. Apparently, it was one of the employees last day of service so they were celebrating like they won the lotto. IDK maybe they did. But for such a small place it was way too loud. Our food came out almost as quickly as my drink, but we had no water and no silverware. I asked (more like yelled) when a server passed to ask for water and silverware. Silverware came but no water. We saw the one server give another server a carafe and that server gave it to another table. So, I waited a little bit longer to see the server again and asked again for water, he apologized, and we finally got water. So, the standouts the dressing was delicious. I immediately wanted to buy it. Very good, highly recommended. The sandwich was ok. The bread was soft and the I liked the addition of the mushrooms, but I am pretty sure the chorizo was just the morning star brands with mushrooms added. I appreciate there being vegan/vegetarian options, but I would have really liked something a little more homemade. Could have used scrambled tofu with a spicy red pepper sauce or soy crumbles and made their own sauce. If that wasn't Morning Star, I would be shocked.Overall, a nice place, I would come back especially with a little less rowdiness and maybe get a salad with the delicious dressing."
"there's nothing quite like a little ~much needed~ date night at the lovely Fish nor Fowl. This is a beautiful space, it could be described as a "modern Italian spot". The elevated chicken parm was one of the best dishes we've had in a while and the aged prosciutto and burrata was truly outstanding! we would go back and order both of these again.if you need a date night this weekend check out this spot with all the vibes!"
"I was hungry when I got here so the freshly baked bread and creamy butter was oh so nice. The nice crispy edges and soft center of the bread hit the spot. The wife got the Ahi tuna salad and I got the Chicken and Shrimp creole. The tuna was great and prepared as asked. The chicken and shrimp were blackened, which is why I got it. Since I use little salt The first bite was too salty for me. I just ate it with some rice and it balanced it out. The flavor is what will keep me coming back. I haven't been here for over 10 years - since I've moved further away - and it's as good as it used to be, which is rare for a place. Nice indeed."
"We attended a special event on the patio here. Beautiful potted herbs surround the railing. Comfortable seating and fairly quiet outside. Buffet was fantastic. Included smoked ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, salmon, collard greens and Mac n cheese (truffle) and garlic mashed. All was very tasty but the brisket was a stand out favorite. Easy and full bar service. Attentive old world type service. There was a band inside and a good crowd at the bar. Easy parking and right off the highway."
"Great cocktails and huge delicious salads. Really a cozy place with friendly staff. The stained glass window is amazing. Be sure to ask your server to tell you about it it's history."
"Great food , fast service, clean place , large menu ,highly recommended & great Sunday Bloody Mary bar !!!"
"Small little restaurant in an outlet but tasty waffles. I got the mega berry waffles and my girl got the waffle frolic - both great! Our waitress was extremely personable and nice. There's a small outdoor seating but we opted to sit inside. Yes, per other reviews the seating was close together but not a huge issue. Why rate this a 4 star? The waffles are amazing but a bit overpriced especially with no included sides like hash browns, bacon, etc. they're extra.I'm not the BIGGEST breakfast fan and I'm visiting Pittsburgh so I likely won't return but good food"
"I had a bruschetta made with BBQ pulled pork, salsa and cheese in a lightly toasted and butter bread. It was delicious!"
"Ambience, food service, atmosphere are absolutely amazing! Visited friends for dinner while in town and looking forward to coming back"
"This was our first time at this upscale pub in Oakmont. It has a great atmosphere and friendly service. I ordered the grilled cheese expecting a basic sandwich. First of all the size of this sandwich was huge! It had three kinds of cheese and bacon on it. I have no idea what kind of bread they used but it was perfect! My mom got a pasta dish that she thoroughly enjoyed. We went during lunch so it's quite quiet but I would love to go back in the evening sometime as well. I would also like to revisit in the summer as it appears they have a nice patio area to sit in."
