"We first went to their coffee shop 4 doors down. You need to go there and bring your coffee back if you would like some. The food was good, except rice was cold, and pricey ($17/lunch). Very cold with ceiling fans blowing and unable to change. Other customers left due to the cold. We enjoyed it, but there are better places, including their coffee shop!"
"Went to Soba on Valentine's Day and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Service was friendly and we were seated immediately. They have a nice selections of specialty cocktails and extensive drink selection. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, with a fireplace and unique lighting. It feels cozy and warm and is a great place for a date night or a dinner with friends. We had the special Four course Tasting Menu. The Sea Bass was the best I have ever had! You cannot go wrong with whatever you choose! We hope to be back soon!"

"I've been a student at Pitt for 3 years now, and this was my first time trying Oishii bento! Very impressed, and sad that I didn't try it before! I got the beef bulgogi bento box with rice, japche, pickled radish, and vegetable dumplings. (Online it says that it comes with kimchi too, but seems to be outdated info). Food took a little while to come out, but the food was hot and fresh!! I could totally tell that they cooked it to order. Normally I would have taken my food to go, but I decided to eat inside. There's a small seating area upstairs (probably about 15-20 seats at various sized tables). Workers were fairly nice, and the food was reasonably priced for the portion. My bento box was $14 ($15 with tax) and was very filling. Can't wait to come back and try more from this place!"
"Some of the very best Thai food I've had anywhere. Amazing! Perfectly spiced, perfectly cooked. Beautiful presentation. Very nice ambiance, especially considering that it's a tiny shop in a little strip mall. Good service by an actual Thai person.I'll go out of my way to return now that I've found this wonderful jewel!"
"Was a little nervous to try because my palate does not always fancy Korean food, but oh baby am I glad I did! I got sweet and sour chicken bites(I'm not sure what the correct menu item is) and they were heavenly. I also tried bubble tea for the first time and it was every bit as incredible as I thought it would be. God bless the girl at the register for helping decide what to get. She explained the items to me to help me narrow it down to what I'd want. Service was super fast. It's on Oakland ave so parking isn't ideal but they have cute outdoor tables to sit at. I can't wait to go back!"
"Incredible sushi with a good variety. We got the edamame and miso soup to start. We ordered several specialty rolls and a few nigiri. Everyone was super friendly and the restaurant looked clean. We can't wait to go back!"

Admittedly I have had this place on my bucket list for quite a while, but with their hours only in the evening on the weekdays I hadn't had the opportunity to visit. Luckily, we were out this last weekend visiting some popup Christmas bars, and we got hungry. I immediately suggested we try bae baes. Everyone in our group does not eat meat, and are adventurous eaters, so it seemed like a perfect opportunity. We arrived were told where to sit and given waters. You order through QR codes. I typically really like doing this, but both of our parties were having some issues with the ordering. I picked my food handed the phone over to have my husband to add his and complete it and went to the bathroom. When I got out, I was certain he would be done, and we would be waiting. He wasn't. Each time he'd hit complete order we kept getting an error code to try again and having to go back and add all the items over. I would have thought that it was just us, but my brother and his GF were also having the issue, except his finally went through but it appeared to be duplicated. He went to the kitchen to make sure they only received one order, and he was good to go. We were still trying to complete ours. When finally, ours went through their food was delivered which sucked since now we were watching them eat.We waited not too long for our food, but by then, the other half of our party was done eating. This was the worst part of the experience. The best part was the food. We ordered Yum Yum Cauliflower with Maple Gochujang to share and I ordered the spicy sesame tofu stir fry, with tender green salad and daikon radish slaw, and rice. Phenomenal! Food was excellent. The entire party agreed the food was very good. The cauliflower dish was so perfectly crisp, and the sauce was tangy sweet and spicy, wonderful combination. You would not think you were eating vegetables. My main dish was so just as good if not better. The seasonings and balanced flavors were about perfect. The sides were not afterthoughts and the rice was outstanding. The interior of the restaurant was adequate. It seemed clean, which is the most important thing. It was kind of cold with the door very close to the seating areas. Also, they automatically add 18% gratuity to each check. I am ok with this in a way, but also not in another way. If you want an additional 18% then increase your prices, pay your employees more and accept no tips. The auto tip is ridiculous considering a tip is supposed to be based on your service experience. Our service was fine, so no issue with giving the tip, but we didn't give it, it was forced.. The food easily gets 5 stars! The atmosphere, issues with the ordering system, and automatic tip, 3 stars.

We've been to Soba several times previously and enjoyed it a lot. But kept forgetting to write a review. This time we only took a picture of the appetizers - crispy tofu and spicy pork lettuce wraps. Dinner was so good we ate it before we could take photos! Our server was on it and checked on us periodically. Great space (a little dark and could use a little more lighting) with a cool vibe! Give it a try if you haven't been here yet.

This place never fails! They've been consistent throughout the years. You know you get a good meal whenever you order from there. Also, you can't go wrong with anything you choose from their menu. This place gets busy and it's best to order online for a pickup. In terms of seating, there's limited space available. Best bang for a wholesome healthy meal!

Crispy chicken like you've never had. I love the sweet and spicy flavor. My partner and I order a bucket of 30 wings and go to town. The boba tea is okay as well.

Have ordered several times from Green Pepper but it's our first dine-in experience. It's actually quite nice. Their dishes are delicious as usual. The restaurant is spacious. I love that they have some Korean drinks as options. The serving speed is also fast. Will come back again.

Sushi Kim was one of my favorite spots for sushi in the city and I was so devastated when they closed down because of Covid. I'm really glad that they reopened and that they have demonstrated the same quality and service in their new location. I always look forward to coming here

"We went to this place on a Saturday night. It was almost empty. We were greeted and seated immediately. The ambiance was nice and pleasant. The service was so friendly and attentive and timely. We enjoyed a bunch of dishes from their menu. All were well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed our dinner. It's a good place for a casual Korean meal if you are around the location."
"Don't be fooled by the humble looking stair case before the entrance. Everything about this place was fantastic. The sushi had amazing taste and each bite was full of fish. The salmon and yellowtail quality was very high. I even think they make their own spiced soy sauce. I sat at the sushi bar to wait for my take out and wished I could sit and stay longer! The staff were so kind and friendly. Will definetely be back to try more items. Another customer had tempura and it smelled amazing. The vibe is very relaxed but also clean and polished."
"To-go Raman is tough to pull off but they did a great job. Thanks! The dumpling platter is a solid pick. It's worth the price. I also ordered a rice and meat dish that was great. All in all impressed with the delivery service and would definitely order again or try in person!"
"New Korean Snack restaurant in the heart of Oakland Pittsburgh!I was excited to hear that the food truck owners of Mr. Bulgogi opened this storefront, and happy to see more Asian representation in the Pittsburgh food scene. I ordered the bulgogi cup-bap on their second day of their soft opening! The bowl was filled with white rice, an iceberg salad, japchae noodles and fresh bulgogi. I liked how the meat was tender and flavorful. The portion size was fair for the price of $9.50.Looking forward to trying more snack items on the menu, like Korean corndogs, ramen and custard filled fish-shaped pastries. Not my place for a Korean food craving, but glad to have supported this business on its early opening days. tldr;food 4/5service 4/5interior 4/5"
"I ordered the Dakgangjeong (Sweet KFC) Meal Box, which came with sweet and tangy fried chicken, rice, corn, sesame seeds, and red cabbage slaw. The flavors were definitely bold--sweet and tangy just as advertised--but there was an unexpected spice to it that caught me off guard since I'm pretty spice-sensitive. Interestingly, others in my group didn't notice the heat, so it might just be me! To accommodate my spice sensitivity, I skipped the kimchi salad, but the meal box still felt generous and satisfying. We ordered as a group of 8 through Uber Eats, and everything arrived fresh and well-packaged. Most of us were first-timers, and the general consensus was very positive. I'd be curious to try something different next time, like their bulgogi, which I've heard good things about.Overall, K Station delivered a flavorful and filling meal that's worth revisiting, but I'd recommend checking spice levels if you're sensitive like me."
"I have stopped by here twice now with my wife and twins for dinner. Both time that's we stopped at Kasai we had ordered online and then I ran in to pick up the food. This restaurant is located on East Main Street in the heart of the Carnegie business district. The inside from what I have seen consists of a sushi bar with the cash register on one side and then seating throughout the rest. Our food was ready whenever I arrived both times that we ordered food from Kaisai. For dinner on my most recent visit I order the spicy chicken bibimbap and then a seaweed salad as a side while my wife went with the avocado roll and shrimp tempura roll. The menu describes my meal as coming with rice, spinach, carrots, bean sprout, zucchini, sunny side egg and spicy sauce (gojujang) and my wife's shrimp tempura roll as Fried shrimp, cucumber, avocado, spicy mayo and eel sauce. My meal here ended up being good as I thought that the chicken had a good flavor to it which was slightly spicy. I was able to cut into my egg and the yolk was then able to be mixed into my meal making the rice richer. Then I also enjoyed all of the vegetables, especially the carrots and zucchini as it helped to make my dish feel healthier. My seaweed salad was also pretty good here as it had a type of sweet and sour flavor to it which both my daughter and I enjoyed. Finally my wife enjoyed both of her sushi rolls here. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. As a matter of a fact you already know that I did at least but the food was good and I will again."
