"A tasty spot in the South Side for some good tacos! There are no bad choices here, although I didn't necessarily taste any standouts either. The fish taco has a good crispy fish with spicy slaw on top. The potato taco is a great option for vegetarians, although the potatoes aren't quite as crispy as I had hoped. The chicken taco was fine, but it didn't do anything that I couldn't have done at home. The ground beef tacos similarly are tasty but maybe not worth the $4.75 price point. The churro is a nice way to end the evening! I love the Nutella dipping sauce. There are many sodas available as well. The interior is very cool--although there is limited seating-- and the staff are very kind and fun too. If you need a quick taco fix, this is certainly not a bad option at all!"
"I had the shaved ribeye taco, and my boyfriend had the americano. Very fresh and delicious. My boyfriend loved his so much that he ordered and extra taco. There were rather small but for me hit the spot! The restaurant inside is spacious and has cool vibe if you are a taco lover."

"Passed their food truck during the fashion and food truck rally during Earth Day.Bar-B-cone: Cole slaw, pulled pork, pepper jack mac n cheese in a cone. So, so, so, so good.Cornbread: Large portion, good flavor, but the texture was a little off.Only thing I'm sad about is that they didn't have their spiciest bbq sauce here. :(Employees were funny and overall - awesome. :) Anytime you order the bar-b-cone, they sing baaaaaaar-b-cone. It's cute."
"Was in Garfield for their First Friday of the mont festival/stroll. Don't know it's official name but my first time exploring this neighborhood and event. What a nice night to explore art, wares, food. This food truck business was beaming with business. A bit of a wait but not bad and food was so worth it. I just got two soft tacos with shredded pork, cilantro, onion, lime, and salsa Verde. My type of tacos! I ate them sitting on a curb listening to a guy playing guitar and singing. Not too shabby at all!The food, service, and prices were great."
"A great spot in New Kensington. Service was great and staff is friendly. A lot of variety on the menu. I had the crunch wrap which was excellent. I really liked their salsa. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit."
"Passing through Braddock i have seen this place and wasn't quite sure what it was. We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised. I'd describe it as a unique twist on street tacos etc.. A bit different from what I have had, but the meat was tender and flavorful, and the tacos, burritos, and Gorditas were all excellent. They seem to try to put a healthy twist on it with spinach instead of lettuce.Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!"
"If you know me you know I've been to a lot of restaurants and food trucks. So when I say this is the best Curry I've had in North America, and the best food truck I've ever eaten from, you know I'm either on acid, or dead right. Or more likely, both. When I see this food truck, I start doing "India on Cartwheels" in my mind. And I let out a few "India on Squeals." I brought my friend Remington here, thinking it was "India On Steele's." And if it were referring to my guy friend from Hyderabad who is currently dating my girl friend from Cardiff, it'd be "India on Wales." Ahem. What to get: Large Chicken Tikka Masala (spice level 1-10) for $5.50.Why: It's the best curry in North America, and I've had at least 57% of them. You're lying: Yes, I'm horizontal in bed right now because I'm full to the brim of IoW curry. So they how are you going to get to the gym today: You're going to have to curry me out.Seriously, if you only eat 1 thing in Pittsburgh, let it be this. They open from around 11 to 6 each day (shorter hours when school is out, sometimes), parked on Bigelow about 2 blocks north of the Cathedral Of Learning. There's a new one over by Carnegie Mellon too, haven't been yet.I've sent and taken many people here now, and the *majority* think it is one of the best curries they've ever had. Including people who have lived in and visited England and/or India. So I'm not crazy. I get requests to drive it all the way back to Buffalo most times I'm here. The prices are ridiculously low. It's silly. I mean, they're basically giving these amazing curries away. The Samosa Chaat is good, the Mango Lassi not so good, but it's the curries that win the world universe galaxy curry contest. Chicken Tikka Masala is *the* one. It tastes a lot like the curries over in England (British Indian is a cuisine all unto itself, invented by Indian immigrants, and perhaps the most delicious genre of food you can get in the UK... and we all do). It would actually be one of the best ones in London, Birmingham, Manchester, or even Bradford. Except that it's in Pittsburgh.Don't leave it out of the fridge for too long, or it'll be "India on Congeals." And be grateful it's served over rice and not "India on Oatmeal." If you eat so much of it that you get super tall, I'll call you "India on Shaquille." And if you want to turn me on while eating it, try "India on High Heels."The people of Pitt just don't know how lucky they are to have this truck here. I drive 4 hours from Buffalo just to have it, on a bi-monthly basis. Not that I'm bi, but I would be, if that was the only way to scarf down this curry regularly. However, one caveat is that not everyone will like it. If you're used to "Indian Indian" over British Indian, or if you are used to the Americanized crap (sorry), then this might not be your cup of tea. It's a matter of taste. If it's not your cup of tea, we can't be friends anymore. (Joke) (Sort of). Some of the negative reviews here are actually clearly from people who were expecting Americanized crap, and "don't get it." It's their loss, really.Another caveat, and my only complaint, is that while they're lovely people, in some of their online responses... I'd advise them to be a little more "kissy-assy", one might say. I sent a friend here, and her experience was not great. I wish the responses to her review had been more gentle, less confrontational. An argumentative response to a negative review is so much more off-putting to potential customers than the review itself. If they ever remove those responses and start being suck-ups ;) then I'll remove this paragraph. I just want them to be loved by all the way I love them, for the *incredible* food.Service: amazing. The owner is a wonderful guy, and has even stayed open late for me on several occasions, I'd call from Ohip and tell him I'd be 20 mins later than closing. No problem. Wow!If you get it on a Sunday, it's "India on Steelers." And if your banana just un-peeled itself, then "India on Repeel." With these prices, it's more like "India on Great Deals." Or "India on Steals." I might make a movie about this truck: "India on Reels." Or it might turn me into one of those shirtless studly Bollywood guys, so my nickname could be "India on Sex Appeals."And if you eat more than 1 thing in Pitt, you may also want to try the Rib Eye Taco at Las Palmas (on Brookline), and the Gyro from Greek Gourmet or Gali's, as well as the steak sandwich at Gaucho, and the Old Bay - Wet wings at Bob's Big Shot. But if it's just 1 thing... let it be this Chicken Tikka Masala. Believe it.Anyway I've been rambling too long, I feel like I've given you the whole "India on Spiel."And if it were referring to how most Indians imagine themselves hooking up with Jessica Biel (or any one of her sisters), then it'd be "India on Biels."Whereas if it were about how emotional I get when I eat this spectacular, incomparable Chicken Tikka Masala, it'd be named "India on All-The-Feels.""
"Delicious! Very happy this new restaurant opened up close to my home. You can tell this family run restaurant makes everything with love.Service is excellent. My husband got 3 tacos with 3 different choices. I had that huevos rancheros! I just wish the chips and salsa was complimentary"

This is definitely a decent spot for tacos in the South Side area. There is good street parking, though it is well-frequented corner. The service is fast and the selection is pretty good. The chicken, carnitas and fish tacos are delicious. The tortillas are fresh.

1st time customer. We can't wait to come back. Everything was very flavorful and the staff added to the ambiance. I highly recommend Doce Taqueria...a local owned restaurant growing in Pittsburgh.

Ordered southside bbq for the first time a couple months ago. Ordered ribs and they were DELICIOUS. However, I can't help but share how kind these people are. I was having such a horrible day and typed this into Uber eats not expecting anything. The note they sent me with my free cornbread honestly almost brought me to tears. They have my business for the rest of my life

Tl;Dr: delicious authentic tacos and burritos in cute food truck stop! ~~~~~~~Always drive by this place, finally decided to try it on a random Monday night after craving burritos for days. The set up is super cute with an area to sit out front the truck (uncovered outdoor) and decorated seasonally. Wasn't super busy on a Monday which was nice but had a steady flow as we waited for our food.Ordered the traditional steak burrito and traditional tinga burrito after googling what tinga is (spicy shredded chicken). Also got chips/guac and a boat load of salsa. You have to order salsa individually (25 cents each) which was fine but would have preferred an option for one larger container.Everything is cooked to order and smelled amazing. The burrito is the most perfectly wrapped burrito you will find in Pittsburgh. FLavors were remarkable!!! I've been seeking good authentic Mexican food since moving to PGH from SoCal and this might be the answer! Probably the most authentic food I've had here. So delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and not chewy. Salsas were so flavorful - I'm glad we ordered so many. The Super Hott was as advertised and actually had a kick to it too which again was a pleasant surprise in Pittsburgh! Street parking on Penn can be tricky but usually can find something nearby and is free after 6p. Pricing was fair. You can also order ahead online if you want.Overall highly recommend!!

Super authentic and delicious spot! I was completely blown away. Some of the best tacos I've had in/around the Burgh. My favorite items were the birria quesadilla and the carne asada tacos- heavenly! I like mine with lots of raw onions, cilantro, verde hot sauce, and fresh lime. The prices for the food here are also very affordable. The service was very friendly and the woman making our food was super kind. I definitely recommend this spot next time you have a hankering for Mexican food- you won't be disappointed!

I really liked this place. I have never had a burrito with potatoes before but I like the twist they put on it! The guy who was working (I'm pretty sure is the owner) is so nice and helpful. He recommended I get the guacamole and he was right. It was amazing. Homemade and delicious. I am not sure if it will be my go-to Mexican spot but I did love the carnitas burrito I had.

*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**4.5/5*For cheap, fast, and good Indian food, this is the place. Located right on campus, India on Wheels is one of my favorite places to get Indian food. They have very good portioned meals for only $4/$5 depending on the size you get; I can get two meals out of one large order. I've tried so many of their food and all of them are real tasty. This food truck has save me many times when I was starving on campus and couldn't afford to spend that much on food. Best part is that you can substitute rice with naan, and their naan is amazing. Some of my favorite items include chicken saag, tikka masala, and korma. But honestly, all of their curries are great.*VERDICT*Would always go back 100%. It's crave-worthy :)

Wonderful food at this new restaurant. First time. The food represents a regional cuisine of southern Mexico. Unique and delightful offerings. Service was attentive and friendly. A warm welcome. Pleasant Mexican decor. We will return soon. One negative: no free chips and salsa. Chips and two salsas are $8.95.

"Oh Pittsburgh Sandwich Society, I am so happy I finally tried your burger! When I first moved to Pittsburgh, I scoured Yelp for the best burger and this one was at the top of the list. The burger patties were so juicy and flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. The fries were also fantastic. I could sing praises about the food all day but the real winner was the extra convenient ordering process. I usually hate QR codes and online ordering but the signage around the brewery was so simple. The online menu was very clear, detailed, and simple to order. They managed to cut down on many of the annoying steps when ordering online. I also appreciated the texts for pickup and the quick service. I am looking forward to visiting again to try additional menu items."
"Stand alone location of the Pittsburgh Sandwich Society. Quick and easy to order. The In and Aht burger was delicious and very remeniscint of another burger by a similar name. Definitely beats traveling to the West Coast!Loaded fries were spicy, but flavorful. Looking forward to trying their other sandwiches!Stop by during their open hours and grab some food to go!"
"I finally tried the food, and it was incredible. I also did a special advanced order of Moutabel, and it was so delicious, and it reminded me of my trip to Jordan . . . fantabulous!! The Falafel Wrap was delicious also. Highly recommend . . . Big Cheers!!"
"Visited tonight for a quick takeout dinner. Shrimp and grits was delicious. The chicken sandwich was fantastic, the Nashville hot sauce was smoking hot. Next time I'll ask for extra pickles on the sandwich. The chicken bugs were fantastic. The Mac and cheese was good, add a tiny bit of the Nashville hot sauce to take it to the next level. The chicken po'boy was fantastic. I love the buns that Ben has always used. If you were a fan of Pittsburgh po'boy, then you need to get to Monaca so you can have all your favorites from the truck."
"My husband I stopped by on Saturday. The weather was beautiful for sitting at the picnic table. We shared an order of hummus which was amazing and so much that we took the rest home. We each had the gyro wrap and ate every bit. It was perfectly seasoned and the wrap was delicious. We will definitely make it a regular stop before our usual Sunday Kroger shop. The cook was also very friendly and efficient . I didn't catch his name but will next time! We were so busy eating that we didn't take any pictures to share. Again, we'll be back."
"I stopped here with my parents at their location on Brownsville road on Friday. I drive past it everyday on my way home I thought it was time to check it out. I got a brisket sandwich and coleslaw. I thought both were really good! The only downside they have here is there's no beer lol the menu is limited but I found the food to be good and I'd try it again. The service was also very friendly."
"They were a new vendor to our food truck lunch days. Their portions are huge and the food is amazing! I ordered the three tacos and the nachos. Everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor! Feedback from everybody was that they would definitely order again and they are better than the other vendor that we used to have."
"Really nice vegan food truck in Pittsburgh! They're a non-profit so proceeds go towards feeding people and animals in need. I remember seeing on their menu that if you are in need of a meal, you can also pay as you wish. Super nice of them. The food truck shows up to a lot of events around town and you can check out their website to see where they will be next. It was my first time trying a pierogi and it was very crispy, topped nicely with caramelized onions. I went with my friends during a busy hour at First Friday so the wait was about 20 minutes. In addition to pierogis, they also have hoagies, curry fries, etc."
"Grilled chicken salad indeed had grilled chicken and salad lettuce. Cheese burger indeed had burger and cheese. But barely. Mac n cheese was decent. Baked beans cold. Service kiosk was quite fancy but bring your own silverware (note not one but two broken forks). Be clear this is in the food court at Morgantown Mall. Sbarro was looking pretty good."
"The food tastes good (we got grilled corn and beef brisket). The problem was that there was very little food for the price ($13). Prices were way too high for a small amount of brisket on a hamburger bun."
"Walking from bar to bar the other night, we stumbled upon "Street Fries," a fresh cut, loaded fries truck that promised to elevate the fry game--and boy, did they deliver! Watching the potatoes being cut and fried right before our eyes was like witnessing culinary magic. They even invited me onto the food truck for a behind-the-scenes look! With so many mouthwatering combinations, the only downside was deciding which one to pick- and boy was it hard! When I say these are LOADED fries, I mean it. Seriously, every box of fries felt like it weighed at least 3 lbs. The garlic Alfredo fries? Pure heaven. The teriyaki fries? Absolutely mind-blowing and that yum yum sauce though . We also got to watch him season and cook the chicken right in front of us too and that was so GOUD as well. A huge shoutout to Eric, the mastermind behind these loaded, delicious and hefty fry creations, for letting us in on the fry-making secrets. Can't wait to indulge again! If you're a fry lover, this truck is your dream come true. Keep your eyes peeled or follow them on social media ( @streetfries4ever )to make sure you don't miss when they bless your neighborhood.
