Mary-Michael M. "Yay! Page's Dairy the BEST. This is THE place to be. Pgh has had all kinds of new places popping up all over the place and nothing can beat the standard that Page's sets. The menu is amazing. Truly. AMAZING. We usually get soft serve while there and ice cream sandwiches to take home. If you want ambiance, this is not the place. There isn't anywhere to sit. You are going to find yourself eating in the parking. It is in grimy South Side. Their menu makes up for the experience of downing your food while standing next to some old van, down near the river."

This has been my favorite coffee shop for many years and even though I no longer live in Pittsburgh, it is a must visit every time I come back. This is a cute little coffee shop with a little outdoor patio area as well (and if you're lucky you will get a glimpse of the owners two big dogs). The coffee tastes great and is served in big colorful ceramic mugs."

Cara T. "What a great, old school bakery with a huge variety of baked goods! This bakery is super cute and small, but has tons of products! I wanted to try a homemade sweet treat, and I had a hard time picking what to get! I ended up going with the red velvet whoopie pie and a box of heart sugar cookies for my family. The workers were friendly and helpful! I tried the red velvet whoopie pie and it was super delicious! Love the flavor of the cake and the buttercream icing. However, the top side of the whoopie pie was dry. I did get it in the afternoon, and it felt like it had been sitting out for a bit. Maybe wrapping it in plastic wrap would help keep it more moist! Other than that, I really enjoyed it!If you need cakes, cupcakes, or anything in-between, this is a great bakery to check out!"

Emily L. ""Where friends meet" is a very appropriate tagline for this comfortable and bustling little nook right in the heart of Washington, PA. My family and I love coming here and frequently check their Facebook page which is reliably updated on a weekly basis with specials. These are always worth checking out and there is a wide variety of offerings. Hot tip : if it's crab cakes, get them early because they will sell out. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and there's something for everyone. My personal recommendation is make room for the wedding soup, it's the best! Reservations recommended on a Friday or Saturday night because all the friends will be meeting here!"

In this case, it turns out to be a simply delicious burrito. The rest of the items we ordered were good. The chips and salsa had a good flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive. They closed at 8pm and I literally entered at 7:55pm, so I'm sorry about that but I was hungry! The main reason for wanting to stop was I noticed they sold raw cookie dough which is such a craze right now and something I never tried. In addition to cookie dough they sell regular ice cream as well, and many other different types of chocolate candy so you really can get it all here. Plus, the staff is super nice so although I came in there so close to closing, I could tell she really didn't care all that much. Now, sadly for me, I hated the cookie dough. It was red velvet which I normally find to be amazing, but this wasn't. Nothing against the shop, I'm just realizing that this raw cookie dough trend isn't for me. I thought it was too sweet, the consistency was odd and overall just wasn't something I'd ever want again. Next time I'll get ice cream, but even so I'd still make sure I came back to Sinful Sweets. It's amazing."

The inside area was basically empty but had windows open so you can feel the nice breeze come in. They do have a happy hour from 5 PM to 7 PM on weekdays but I came a little after that. I ordered their oxtail Birria tacos. It came with three pretty thin tacos and a white people version of consume lol. The soup was thick and nothing like how it's supposed to be. The tacos were decent for what they were but they certainly weren't birria. Also, the cheese was not proper. Their drinks make up for the food though. I had three cocktails and each one was better than the next. I appreciate the decent prices for such a nice bar.The service was great. Bartender was super attentive and cool. Tiffany Y. "Crumbl Cookies is a national chain that was founded in 2017. This franchise in Cranberry Township opened more recently. Crumbl sells a selection of cookies and ice creams, and the flavors rotate weekly. Last week, I visited this franchise for the first time. As soon as I entered the business, several employees who were working hard in the back shouted, "Welcome to Crumbl!" To the side, I saw touchscreens for ordering. I felt surprised that the selection of cookies was only six flavors--milk chocolate chip, honey bun, cowboy cookie (oatmeal, chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans), chocolate crumb (Oreo), raspberry doughnut, and classic pink sugar. I also felt surprised that the prices started at $4.70 per cookie. I considered ordering also ice cream, but three of the six flavors were out of stock. I ordered a 4-pack box of cookies for $15.28. Several minutes later, an employee brought my box to the front, and he opened it up to show me the cookies. He told me thank you and to have a nice day.At first glance, the cookies seem to be pricey, but they are a very large size, and they are baked minutes earlier so are very fresh. Here are my reviews for the cookies:Milk chocolate chip - 4 stars - My husband ate this cookie. He described it as "pretty good." The cookie contained large chunks of chocolate.Raspberry doughnut - 5 stars - Both my husband and I ordered this flavor of cookie. This cookie had a large center of raspberry preserves, and it was topped with pieces of doughnut and powdered sugar. We would definitely order this cookie again in the future.Classic pink sugar - 4 stars - This sugar cookie was very thick, and it was topped with almond frosting that tasted very sweet."

Prices are reasonable.I shopped at this bakery in the late morning on a Saturday. Many other customers were standing in line, so I waited several minutes for my turn to order. Some of the shelves were already empty. Furthermore, I did not know what some of the baked goods were because most were not labeled. I recommend that the employees add little signs with the names of the baked goods.I was a first-time customer, so I ordered a sample of the baked goods: a vanilla wafer, fruity danish, carrot cake, pecan roll, snickerdoodle cookie, and raisin bread. The total price was reasonable. An employee kindly packaged my baked goods in a box, rang up my purchase, and thanked me.At home, my husband and I ate the baked goods. There's a good vibe from the moment you walk through the entrance and the smells of smoked bbq drifting from the kitchen are enticing. We ordered ribs, pulled chicken and several sides. There's a wide variety of homemade BBQ sauces available. We tried three of them - Gorky's original, Carolina sauce, and the Fiery sauce. They were all good but the hot sauce could have packed a little more punch by my standards. Ribs were tender and delicious. The chicken was good, not great. As for the sides the cornbread is outrageously delicious. Runner up are the beans and chili. The only thing that failed to impress was the coleslaw, but there are probably a hundred different ways to make coleslaw. Highly recommend if you're in the area and hungry for BBQ done the old school way.Oh, and the Tshirts are epic."

However, today was not a salsa day for me because I discovered that Penn State Creamery Ice Cream is also available here, so ice cream ruled. There were 3 flavors available, and usually change once the next Penn State trip occurs to replenish as needed. The shop itself is small, but very quaint, cool, and inviting. The owner was exceptionally friendly, and well-equpped to start, and maintain lively conversation about his background, travels, and the passion he has when it comes to creating healthy, and tasteful products and meals . It is a family run operation, and he and his wife are working hard to offer the community quality food in a comfortable setting.
