"What a great, old school bakery with a huge variety of baked goods! This bakery is super cute and small, but has tons of products! I wanted to try a homemade sweet treat, and I had a hard time picking what to get! I ended up going with the red velvet whoopie pie and a box of heart sugar cookies for my family. The workers were friendly and helpful! I tried the red velvet whoopie pie and it was super delicious! Love the flavor of the cake and the buttercream icing. However, the top side of the whoopie pie was dry. I did get it in the afternoon, and it felt like it had been sitting out for a bit. Maybe wrapping it in plastic wrap would help keep it more moist! Other than that, I really enjoyed it!If you need cakes, cupcakes, or anything in-between, this is a great bakery to check out!"

"Gotta admit this is one of my favorite bakeries in Pittsburgh. Located right in the heart of Highland Park, this bakery is easily accessible by bus, car, or on foot. You can smell the delicious baked goods before you even walk in, making your taste buds dance right away.I've been there a few times now and they have varying baked goods, but a lot consistent ones also. The first time I went I got the cannoli, lemon bar, and a buckeye to split with some friends Oh my they were DELICIOUS!! Next time I went I got a cinnamon roll because I herd they were legendary....and they so were! I studied for the first time in there a few weeks ago and it was okay. It got pretty loud since it's a small sitting area. But, I'll still go back!"

"Really enjoyed a recent visit to Amy's and trying new fare! Things I tried in order of preference:- Red bean mooncake- Egg tart- Oreo Mochi- Mango pancake The staff and Amy herself were very hospital and personable! You can tell she is passionate about her business and made us feel at home. I look forward to returning and trying more, especially some of the savory items. "Ice cream should be served all year round anyway so the fact that they are open in the winter is deserving of 5 stars. When you walk in, there are about 6 seats so not much for sitting but in the summer, you don't need it but in the winter you can eat in the car I think. I got two scoops one of chocolate almonds and strawberry. Chocolate almond had sooo many almonds and strawberry had so many almonds. The scoops were so big. It was the perfect amount of ice cream for me. It was decently priced for what I ordered. The ice cream is out with labels so you can see all the flavors. I think there was at least 20 options to pick from. They also had yogurt too but I didn't have any. The parking is first come first serve on the street. There are a lot of other places to eat or drink, so it's hit or miss for parking."

"When Prantl's Bakery opened this store in Greensburg, it was the talk of the town and deservedly so. Hubs and I have not been disappointed in any purchase we have made here. Hubs chooses the bear claws or cherry danishes every time. I like everything; from the large cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and the huge elephant ears. Their cakes are delicious and where I can always be sure my order will be perfect. Their almond torte is a regular purchase for me. Another favorite are the large lady locks. The filling is the tastiest around. The employees are friendly and try to answer any questions regarding your special order. If I lived nearby, I would be 300 pounds for sure."

"There are not too many bakeries in Johnstown that open in the early AM and offer instant freshness......thats why I'm ecstatic about Lambcakes!!!!!!!!Located in the heart of town right outside of central park. This new business is sure to be Baaaaaaaaaaaad-A$$ hit!!!From the moment of entrance the smell of fresh baked goodness just captivates you. My decision....made oh so quickly as the predominance of baked cinnamon slapped my tired face up. So i bee-lined for the cinnamon rolls. Bought a half dozen to take home. Very dangerous if they taste as good as they smell but i love to support new local thriving businesses. The BEST roll i have ever had. And thats no exaggeration. The sweet dough was so fresh it coulda been eaten as is. Add the swirly cinnamon sugar layers and ample amounts of it now have you convulsing. But thats not it...the freshly made cream cheese was unlike any other i' e had, in taste and texture. Not too sweet or sticky with loaded cream cheese taste. Just messy enough to enjoy sucking every last one of those fingers and lead you to the grand finale toe curling!!!Fantastic!!!The place was quaint clean and freshly remodeled. There were small amounts of seating n tables available. And there were many other small pieces of heaven to be enjoyed. Such as cupcakes, cookies, and pastries. I reserved my fifth star til i can try all of these... And believe me, i will keep ya posted!!!!!!"

"I've been looking for somebody to make me a caramel cake friend of mine dropped sugar pans name on me go try to young lady on McCartney road, I'm so glad I did my wife has been gone my wife passed and I tell everybody that recipe went to Glory with her she must have dropped it in this young lady Lapp before she left here this young lady is phenomenal the atmospheres is great this caramel cake as if my wife has made it the taste is out of this world if you never been you need to go and treat yourself it's worth every penny and every dime and nickel in between pastor TRT"
