"Great service and good food. The chargrilled oysters were almost identical to the ones I had in New Orleans. The banana foster bread pudding is out of this world!"
"We first went to their coffee shop 4 doors down. You need to go there and bring your coffee back if you would like some. The food was good, except rice was cold, and pricey ($17/lunch). Very cold with ceiling fans blowing and unable to change. Other customers left due to the cold. We enjoyed it, but there are better places, including their coffee shop!"

"Every single time I make it to the commoner it's a 20/10 - and it never misses with the food. I got a bonus to stay at the hotel Monaco that night to give the full experience. One of my favorite hotels and restaurants downtown! If you haven't been it's worth heading to!"
"A friend and I stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner on a December warm and sunny Saturday, a very busy day in the Strip District. We stopped in about 2:40pm with about a 35 minute wait to be seated. We gave our phone number for them to text us when ready. giving us time to continue shopping. The menu held many options we both were interested in. In the end, we both opted for the Grinchmas cocktail of pear vodka, schnapps, and pineapple with the coloring true to that of the Grinch. Nice and refreshing.Next we both opted for the same street taco combo of a mahi mahi taco and a Baja shrimp taco, both in a flour shell. They were huge and filling.Lastly, dessert. Of the choices of a chocolate mousse, creme Brule, and key lime pie, I took the mousse and my friend the key lime. The presentations were so eye appealing and no complaints on the taste. Our server was attentive and helpful."
"The food here is delicious! Service was very friendly and attentive. We had the chicken biscuit and the hen's hash. Both were super tasty, would love to go back!"
"Personally, I wasn't blown away by anything, but the rest of my party enjoyed their meal. Classic bar atmosphere, clean and quite spacious. Service was good, and the prices were average I guess. My salad was pretty boring, but the chicken was good. I tried the tacos which were tasty--but mainly just for the corn tortillas. The highlight was the sliding high-top tables. Not my fave, but keeping it objective."
"4.4 average (yes, precise!). La Palapa restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine and also has a full-service bar. Menu items include soups, salads, appetizers (e.g., nachos and jalapeños rellenos), dozens of entrees (e.g., flautas, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas, chicken, pork ribs, lamb, tilapia, and several vegetarian dishes), several sides, and several desserts. The menu is available for dining in, takeout, delivery, and catering.I ordered lunch from La Palapa for delivery. Here are my and my husband's ratings for the foods:Empanada - 4.5 stars - This empanada was available in several flavors, and I selected the shrimp. The empanada was large, had a crispy dough, and contained juicy and flavorful shrimp. On the side was salsa.Fajitas nayarit with side of plantains - 4.5 stars - A few proteins were available, and I chose steak. The steak tasted good. The chef included a very large amount of fresh peppers as well as rice, beans, and some pineapple.Tamales - 4 stars - A corn-based tamale was filled with my choice of filling, which was vegetables, and was wrapped in a corn husk. On the side was salsa.Tacos - 4 stars - Several possible fillings were available, and I chose the rajas con papas (poblano peppers and potatoes). I felt thankful that the soft taco shells did not get very soggy during transport. I might have given these tacos a higher rating if I had ordered a different filling.Carne asada - 5 stars - The flank steak was *very flavorful*. My husband felt surprised to see squash, cheese, and cactus. On the side was perfectly cooked rice."
"It's ok ... not bad but not really good. The beer was cold. They allow pets which is a huge plus and reason to go back. They even have their own menu."
"Solid brunch spot in Morgantown! Eggs were fluffy and buttery. Biscuits and Vegetarian Gravy were the star of the meal. Pancakes came together really well with maple syrup."
"Been to Tokyo (my staff member's uncle was a sushi chef), worked in New York, and enjoyed sushi in coastal seafood meccas like Portland, Maine and Vancouver. This King Salmon Chirashi (sourced from Hokkaido) blew my freakin' mind! This place is so good and unpretentious, but casually refined. Will come back again and again."
"We bought tickets to Ritual House's Harry Potter Chef's Dinner for yesterday and we had such a fun time! You walk in and get sorted into a house via the Sorting Hat and get a glass of bubbly that corresponds to your house. You pick your seat from one of the seven tables (each with a detailed centerpiece that corresponds to one of the seven books) and the six courses of food and drinks begin! I thought the food was delicious and liked how they had a mocktail option for each course.I was really impressed by the level of attention to detail. From the intricate centerpieces to the floating candles and keys to the themed food and drinks, I thought it was well worth the money ($135 during their Black Friday sale + taxes and fees). I was so full that I ended up taking most of the last three courses of food home! The staff was super nice and accommodating. They did a great job accommodating my friend's seafood allergy and even hunted down a to go cup for my leftover Butterbeer mocktail. I really enjoyed everyone I interacted with yesterday night."
"Such a great place! They always got great drink and food specials to go with the season. It's always busy and of course has a great view of the city."

The grilled oysters where my favorite, the food is good, the service is friendly and the ambiance is like Louisiana. They even divide the plate to share.

Admittedly I have had this place on my bucket list for quite a while, but with their hours only in the evening on the weekdays I hadn't had the opportunity to visit. Luckily, we were out this last weekend visiting some popup Christmas bars, and we got hungry. I immediately suggested we try bae baes. Everyone in our group does not eat meat, and are adventurous eaters, so it seemed like a perfect opportunity. We arrived were told where to sit and given waters. You order through QR codes. I typically really like doing this, but both of our parties were having some issues with the ordering. I picked my food handed the phone over to have my husband to add his and complete it and went to the bathroom. When I got out, I was certain he would be done, and we would be waiting. He wasn't. Each time he'd hit complete order we kept getting an error code to try again and having to go back and add all the items over. I would have thought that it was just us, but my brother and his GF were also having the issue, except his finally went through but it appeared to be duplicated. He went to the kitchen to make sure they only received one order, and he was good to go. We were still trying to complete ours. When finally, ours went through their food was delivered which sucked since now we were watching them eat.We waited not too long for our food, but by then, the other half of our party was done eating. This was the worst part of the experience. The best part was the food. We ordered Yum Yum Cauliflower with Maple Gochujang to share and I ordered the spicy sesame tofu stir fry, with tender green salad and daikon radish slaw, and rice. Phenomenal! Food was excellent. The entire party agreed the food was very good. The cauliflower dish was so perfectly crisp, and the sauce was tangy sweet and spicy, wonderful combination. You would not think you were eating vegetables. My main dish was so just as good if not better. The seasonings and balanced flavors were about perfect. The sides were not afterthoughts and the rice was outstanding. The interior of the restaurant was adequate. It seemed clean, which is the most important thing. It was kind of cold with the door very close to the seating areas. Also, they automatically add 18% gratuity to each check. I am ok with this in a way, but also not in another way. If you want an additional 18% then increase your prices, pay your employees more and accept no tips. The auto tip is ridiculous considering a tip is supposed to be based on your service experience. Our service was fine, so no issue with giving the tip, but we didn't give it, it was forced.. The food easily gets 5 stars! The atmosphere, issues with the ordering system, and automatic tip, 3 stars.

Everything we tried here was amazing. I didn't have my phone with me so I didn't get pictures of dinner - it was good! We had brunch here and it was delicious! We happened to visiting for restaurant week so we took advantage of the 3 courses for 45! Staff was great, ask for George! He has been working here for over 8 years and is honest, friendly and like cool cucumber! Try the espresso martini, you will not regret it!

I recently went on a date to Luke Wholey's Wild Alaskan Grille. It's been a while since I've been there but everything is just as delicious as I remembered. My date made a reservation and we were seated right away. We started with the Maine Mussels (choice of Bianco wine sauce or spicy marinara). We went with the spicy marinara broth. They were really good, and the broth had a little kick but wasn't overall spicy. For our entrees, I ordered the shrimp and scallops and my date ordered the English style broiled Atlantic cod. Both of our entrees were really good. A small critique is that my date mentioned that the cod could have been broiled just a little bit more. Overall, everything was delicious and the service was wonderful as always.

Came here for a dinner with friends and the food was pretty good! The pretzel was so soft and the beer cheese was great to dip into. The drinks were great too, and came fairly quickly. The seitan wings were pretty good, but the hot buffalo sauce was slightly too salty for me. The waitress for our table was super nice and helpful! Overall great experience at Industry!

I absolutely love La Palapa! It is quickly becoming one of my staple Southside restaurant spots. The location is great; locate on E Carson in the middle of Southside. The service is always great and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely amazing. The portions are ginormous!! I get the chicken nachos for my meal every time and they are loaded with cheese and chicken. They have my favorite nachos in the city. Their margaritas are very good too. I think their prices are super reasonable as well. The vibe is very cute inside and they have a nice outdoor, covered patio!

"I cannot get enough of this spot! Prompt & Friendly service. Best espresso martini I've ever had. And the food was incredible. We got the mac & cheese and the burger and both were truly top notch. I loved the intimate/cozy setting, too. It makes for the perfect date night spot. Especially with an incredible view of the city from the overlook just steps away."
"If you live in Pittsburgh this place isn't a secret but it feels like it when you first walk in. Drinks are always amazing, the food is great. And the people here are even better than that. The vibe is perfect. Very clean and well maintained inside. I usually get sushi of some kind. Have had the pizza here before. Very good. Their whisky selection is excellent. All the bartenders are good. Very partial to Bartender Mike's Sazerac."
"My daughter and I had dinner at the Foundry before the Taylor Swift concert. We KNEW every place in North Shore was going to be slammed and prepared ourselves for long waits and less than stellar service. We were shocked when this wasn't the case. While we did wait in a long queue for a table, once we were seated, the waitress was fast on her feet. The food was served quickly. Everything tasted great. I had the pierogies and my daughter had the grilled cheese. Both were delicious. I also appreciated that they had a couple of Taylor Swift themed drinks. The "Champagne Problems" was yummy. We were seated in the front section which is a bar area with high top tables. I didn't get a chance to look at the back."
"My husband and I came here for dinner before our movie date. The atmosphere was great, service was excellent and the food was delicious. The only picture I got was of the outside because I was so hungry I ate before my phone did but overall great spot, will return."
"Angelo's was very busy but our service was excellent. I ordered the fried zucchini for our table of 4 to share and it was crispy and delicious. My husband and I split our main course of chicken Marsala to save room for dessert. I love the walnut farina cream cake. It's luscious."
"In town for class reunion. Last night together was dinner at Barry Dyngles. Wonderful layout, attentive & friendly staff. The food, the food!! If I see brisket, I'm ordering brisket. Wow! We had 4-6 apps at our table and each was as delicious as the other. Deviled eggs were my fave. Will be back on next visit."
"I had the cheesesteak. It was amazing. The flavor was great roll was perfect. The Cajun fries were the best. Alexis was a fantastic server. Very attentive and helpful."
"Happy hour? Yes, please. 6pm on a Wednesday evening, we arrive at Dive. The parking lot looks full but don't let that fool you. We were seated immediately at a comfortable table in the dining room. We were greeted promptly by a friendly server who quickly brought us our first round of Happy Hour priced drinks, and the $6 app came to us soon after. We got the cauliflower. It's lighter than fried and very tasty - not boring at all - large portion even for happy hour special. The sauce is not overpowering. It's great.Buffalo chicken sandwich was my choice - so good! Great balance of Buffalo flavor and blue cheese. It was especially good fried: the crunch added to the flavor, but you can also order grilled. I'll keep this in mind for a lower calorie choice but this time I went for the fried and I'm glad I did. It comes with one side, and I ordered regular fries. I could've skipped those since the appetizr was so plentiful (cauliflower). My husband chose the pulled pork melt. This was also a great choice. If you like tots, go for the sweat potato tots. They are served with a special cinnamon dip that compliments them nicely. Oh, about the happy hour, our server came back to us swiftly so that we had an opportunity to order a second drink at the happy hour price. Friendly service, comfortable atmosphere and great location. This is a must-go if you haven't been yet!"
"While up in the Grand View area we stopped in here for a cool drink and their margarita menu caught our eyes... They use freshly juiced fruits in them (grapefruit, lime, etc), which is my preference for a marg. We got a regular margarita (lime) and a grapefruit. The grapefruit was great! Flavorful and fresh - both definitely helped cool us down and tasted great. The menu looked decent, but we weren't hungry. Service was mediocre, the bartender helping us seemed pre-occupied with other tasks. The place is decent, sort of an industrial vibe to it.It would be worth stopping back in again, maybe trying their food too. Very walkable from the Grand View overlook area (the Mon incline, etc)."
"Ambience, food service, atmosphere are absolutely amazing! Visited friends for dinner while in town and looking forward to coming back"
"An unexpected pleasure. Excellent food, well presented. A beautiful atmosphere, and professional knowledgeable service. This is my go to location for taking friends when they're visiting in the area. Recommended."
"Arrived for a late lunch on a Tuesday. I wasn't very hungry by any means but hubby was. The restaurant was empty so I was a bit unsure about it. After being seated right away. The chips and salsa and waters were served almost immediately. I ordered guacamole. And I must say I could have had a meal just on that! It was perfectly seasoned and one of the best I've had. The shrimp entree I had was, without question, amazing! It wasn't overwhelmed with a heavy sauce. It tasted fresh and could tell the cook took care to make it. Not just slopped on plate like other Mexican restaurants. Hubby had a combination of burrito and enchilada. He really enjoyed every bite. He also said it was the best Mexican food anywhere around here. And that is a huge compliment coming from him! So happy we tried this place! We will definitely be returning soon!! A must try!"
"I've been here several times and had consistently great experiences! The first time I was here was for the monthly In Bed by Ten Dance Party on a Friday on the top floor and then came back for a funk band event on the bottom floor. The vibe here is relaxed and low-key, with a creative energy, that I very much enjoy! Recommend checking it out"
"Fantastic. We had a larger party so got to try a lot of things on the menu and it was all spectacular. The tavern stew was delicious, The pork chop, amazing! Love the pretzel bread and their signature banoffie pie was to die for. . My only criticism is our waitress seemed annoyed for some reason but she still took excellent care of us. This place is well worth the visit"
"Cocktail place with bartenders that really know their stuff. They have a very creative menu to order off of, and I always appreciate when there's a bartenders choice option if you're craving something off menuSmall space and it can get pretty crowded and loud, so probably not the best spot for an intimate conversation. I much prefer being seated at the bar to watch the cocktails being made, but they do have servers that rotate around the tables (albeit can be a little slow on busy days) Definitely try the cool hand cukes it's dangerously good"
"Visited Blue Sky a little while back when I was in town for work. We came here since it's a newer spot and had a lot of gluten free options on the menu. We sat outside on the patio on what was a beautiful day. The servers were really friendly and the menu was easy to read and clearly marked for dietary restrictions. We got mimosas and the sweet potato tots to share. I also got the salad which was topped with strawberries, peaches, big hunks of goat cheese, and chicken. The sweet potato tots came with a couple different dipping sauces that all had a nice flavor. I would've liked the tots to be a little more crispy but they were still good. The salad was a huge portion and very filling. While the food was pretty good, it took about 30 minutes for everything to come out (it was 1:54pm when we got our drinks and 2:23pm by the time we got our food). It seemed like a long wait considering what we ordered. I don't know if this was due to us being outside on the patio or if the kitchen was just backed up. We actually saw one couple sit down outside, wait a while to be greeted or offered water, and then leave after not being helped. I'm still giving this spot four-stars though because the food was good and the people here were really nice and accommodating to dietary restrictions. This visit was a few months back so hopefully they've worked out the service kinks now!"
"I stopped in a couple weeks ago to have a nice cold IPA on a super hot day after showing my gf one of my favorite places in the city for the first time, the Duquesne incline observation deck. I always try to stop in here and enjoy a refreshment while on the hill checking out the views or before and/or after having dinner at one of the many great restaurants on Mt. Washington. It's a great little spot with good food, great drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. The service wasn't that great on the day we went, but I get it the hill was packed with many wedding parties it seems and I know how those people can take a toll on you. Either way, I've had many great experiences here and I recommend it no matter what."
"Great service and great location with the super cool rooftop.I came here on a Wednesday night in the summer. Outside rooftop area had a decent amount of people. The inside area was basically empty but had windows open so you can feel the nice breeze come in. They do have a happy hour from 5 PM to 7 PM on weekdays but I came a little after that. I ordered their oxtail Birria tacos. It came with three pretty thin tacos and a white people version of consume lol. The soup was thick and nothing like how it's supposed to be. The tacos were decent for what they were but they certainly weren't birria. Also, the cheese was not proper. Their drinks make up for the food though. I had three cocktails and each one was better than the next. I appreciate the decent prices for such a nice bar.The service was great. Bartender was super attentive and cool. I would likely return here again to try their happy hour and probably stick to drinks"
"Wow, check you out Grapperia! No seriously you aren't much to look at. Completely walked right by you without noticing you there. But then you must have winked at me and I found myself agreeing to walk on in.It's small a few round tables and a small bar with probably 8-10 stools. We were lucky both times we stopped in and found a spot at the bar. The bartenders here are no joke, quite the mixologists. Our first time here we ordered off their drink menu but we were in route to a local brewery. This last time it was all Grapperia.I ordered the Ryes and Shine. The bartender did an amazing job as I told him what I liked and what I didn't in recommending the drink. Perfectly balanced, no sugary sweetness here. As I was enjoying my cocktail I say him make an espresso and then mix it into a shaker. I said hey what's that?! Yanno minding my business. An espresso martini. Ok I have had espresso martinis but I think this ranked up there to oh the best ever! It was just that fresh espresso woke me up, I liked it so much I ordered two. Great stop."
"I've been to Gianna Vias a few time and I've also ordered take out. The food is in my opinion "just alright". Not outstanding but nothing to write home about. They have a large menu, so plenty to choose from. I have never been there for breakfast, but would like to try to sometime. The desserts are good. Parking is never an issue. They offer outdoor seating, which is always a plus even though the parking lot is no special outside view. The service is lacking, but I feel like it's that way a lot of places these days. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it's a decent local spot."
"Every time I go to E's it's confirmed that their Pizza is Best in Town. My daughter is in Italy right now and when she visits Greensburg on the 6 of November she asked for E's over other restaurants in town"
"The owners are very nice and the food is always good. The restaurant is always clean and I never feel like I'm being rushed out."
"Spirits and Tales now offers espresso martini flights, and it's a brunch game changer!! They are located in Oakland, right near Cathy, on the top floor of the Oaklander hotel. My sister and I shared the flight and I'm glad we did. The drinks were normal sized, not smaller, and it's only $30 for the 3 cocktails which is not bad at all. For brunch I ordered the eggs benedict (classic). My boyfriend got the hamburger and wine. My sister ordered the breakfast sandwich. My eggs benedict was really delicious. They drenched it in the hollandaise sauce; I loved it!! The espresso martini flight came with 3 flavors: Chocolate Raspberry Espresso, Cafe Bliss, and Simple Indulge. My favorite flavor was the chocolate raspberry espresso. My sister got the breakfast sandwich and she really liked it. My boyfriend got the hamburger and said it was really good as well. I have my eyes on that spritz flight next"
