"The last visit to Fatheads was in 2003. A stumbling lad who stumbled into this eatery with a silly notion to be quenched. Is it true them damn samwiches is as fat as my head. To my utter joy the cholesterol raced through my veins lubricating all sorts of divine enchantments to the wonders that be still a beating heart. I was alive then and daggonit that Fat Italian sandwich delivered delight. Many moons had passed and in 2025 I found myself in Pittsburgh, PA a stones throw from a mountain of memories. I convinced my wife to let us go and off we went. I entered the establishment that I had been craving for two decades and found myself transported back in time to that season of decadence and delightful abandonment. The sights, the smells, the food oh the fragrance of long forgotten days that began at 7am and ended at 3am. Rested after a night sleep i ordered the Fat Italian once again. My souls thirst had been quenched my deliverer of flavors. The meat so thick, so poignant, so unmistakable Pittsburgh with its bold outpouring of a simple idea. Work hard play hard live for eternity the yokes removed from my tastebuds. The hard boiled eggs perfectly light and fluffy with texture. The rosemary mayo an ode to herbology. Maybe I was a small town girl on a Saturday night dancing like a maniac 20 years ago but here at a proper lunch hour I sat back and feasted and relived that small little portion of a time travelers fable where I touched that time long since forgotten and enjoyed this treat as time stood still. Fates abatement struggles to endure but I am nothing short of satisfied that like the very blessed union of our souls this establishment endures!I did get too excited to eat it that I forgot to snap a pic. "So I've been to Crafty a bunch of times at this point, and I have to say that it is a complete surprise of a gem. It took me a few visits before I tried the food, and I'm a little sad it took me as long as it did. Their French dip was pretty good, but I do wish that there was a horseradish sauce option. Now, of course, that's totally just my opinion because, frankly, I'm a sucker for some horseradishy beef. However, now that I've had their Mahi Mahi appetizer tacos, I don't think I'm getting anything else again. They are ahhhhmazing. The bar itself is dark and definitely has a late night spot ambiance. If you're looking for somethingto do, they do have karaoke and trivia nights. We did end up here around 4 pm after Bridgeville Day with a slew of kids and felt perfectly welcome, though. I wouldn't go with my kiddo past 6ish, but for an early dinner option, it worked just fine. I've also attended an after funeral dinner here, and the staff was wonderful and very attentive to the guests. It's a bit of an anomaly in terms of how to categorize it, but it's a big favorite here."

"Solid pizza place with a lot of portions for people on certain diets (vegan, gluten free, etc). Prices for some items are a little expensive and portions are just okay, but quality seems relatively high. I ordered the regular cheese pizza and caramel cinnamon puffs for dessert.The pizza was pretty standard. I thought the crust was on the thicker side, while I prefer it thinner, but it wasn't bad. Nice crispness on the edges but not so much in the middle. Adequate amount of cheese, and even distribution. Good amount of lightly sweet sauce.I really liked their homemade ranch, and I think it's definitely worth getting on the side. It's less than a dollar extra for a nice little cup. Its super creamy and flavorful, and goes really well with the pizza crust.The cinnamon puffs were quite good. They are essentially little pieces of fried dough with a cinnamon sugar dusting. Good portion for the price. The caramel was a little liquidy but still good. Nice dessert.All in all, this is a solid place for pizza and other similar items. It is especially good if you are a vegan or follow a gluten-free diet. I would definitely recommend trying their ranch regardless of what you order as your entree."

I got sweet and sour chicken bites(I'm not sure what the correct menu item is) and they were heavenly. I also tried bubble tea for the first time and it was every bit as incredible as I thought it would be. God bless the girl at the register for helping decide what to get. She explained the items to me to help me narrow it down to what I'd want. Service was super fast. It's on Oakland ave so parking isn't ideal but they have cute outdoor tables to sit at. I can't wait to go back!"

"I've been here a handful of times over the years, my first review. not sure i've had anything but their wings. maybe next time.not a large interior space, mayb 2/3 restaurant, 1/3 bar. pittsburgh-sports-themed interior. draft list was just okay.i was here for a late lunch on a thursday afternoon. the place was all but empty on my arrival and service was prompt and attentive.while the wings could be a bit bigger, the chix quality was good and they were cooked to crispy perfection (without asking for xtra crispy)....the wings come pretty wet without having to ask for itthey just might be the best buffalo style hot wings i have had...certainly in recent memory anyway. nothing fancy with the sauce itself (guessing a franks redhot base) but some decent heat.4.75 rating (size) for the wings themselves. overall rating is more like a 4.25."

"Came in before a concert! My fiancé suggested we come in because he's had pizza from here before and knew I HAD to try it. Ordered a small pizza (6 slices) we got half tomato half sausage. It blew my mind with how good this pizza tasted. Only was a 15 minute wait. Even the crust was great and i'm not a big crust eater. You can tell they aren't stingy with their toppings by my photo. The workers were vibing in the shop to some music and the guy at the counter was friendly. You can tell they all work well together with the flow they've got down. A woman who is a regular there left her wallet and the counter guy immediately called to let the husband know to call his wife and tell her to come back in to get it. Honesty is the best policy. I talked about this pizza for 3 days."

"I stopped in on a weeknight about 10 mins before they were closing (I didn't realize their closing time when I came in, which was 8:30PM on this particular evening), but I got great, friendly and accommodating service! I heard about their potatoes and really wanted to try them, so I knew I was getting those, but this night was rib night and that sounded good too, and their housemade crab cakes also appealed to me - so I got all of that! The crab cake was really good! A decent amount of meat inside and not too much filler/binder, but seasoned really nicely! The cole slaw that came with it was really good, I always appreciate a nice cole slaw!! And the ribs were decent! They had a nice BBQ sauce on them and they were tender, not dry, but I didn't taste any smoke/fire, so I would assume they might have been baked and finished on a flame, perhaps? Either way, they were good. But those potatoes were excellent! Definitely unlike anything I've tried before! The bartender told me they put that same spice set on their chicken and wings, so if I ever came back, I'd try those for sure!Definitely worth stopping in for a meal, they do a nice job here! It's also just a few minutes away from PIT airport and since I was staying in Moon, it was a very quick drive."

You can make your own bowl or try one of the chef signature's or street food options.My husband and I loved the butter chicken. It was spicy but not too spicy. It had delicious, authentic flavors. I'm still thinking about it! We also enjoyed the mango lassi as well. "I've been visiting this area for 30+ years and have never entered until last night. I didn't know what I was missing...Unassuming and honestly not much to look at from the curb, Dino's is very nicely decorated and has an incredible amount of room inside. On one end you have the serviceable bar with seating, the other end has a big dining area with a banquet facility they had open for further seating. The seating is mostly tables with some booths, we were taken to a booth. The menu was your usual sports bar fare - my wife had their Buffalo Chicken sandwich - a massive thing she could barely eat half - though she enjoyed it quite a bit. I had their fish platter - baked - no complaints. The service was friendly and super patient as we had lots of questions she fielded - great job by her. The only nit was the cleanliness of the table. It appears to have been rushed to none at all as there were pieces of tomato and shredded cheese on the seating side I was at, as there was unbroomed food (fries, chips) and other light trash at our feet underneath the table. Otherwise, it was a great experience and I'll look forward to coming out again."

They have some good ones on there! I definitely recommend Little Nippers for their pizza. There's one delivery driver we really like here. Yes, Westmoreland county could do better with its diversity of food and thought, but what it does lack Mr Mikes comes in and steals the number 1 spot in the North Huntingdon/Irwin/ Greensburg area with reasonable prices, and and an assortment of options with their wings and subs. Note, I have yet to try the subs but the mini pizza, white pizza and traditional pizza hit hard and surprised me with their basic balance. Is it the best I've ever had, no, but it's the best in a 300k population and that in its own right is a tremendous win. Traditional Pizza We go half cheese half pepperoni because my oldest needs to feel like she is eating an additional food group even though pepperoni is barely meat! Like bacon, I consider that topping a condiment like olives or mushrooms! Crust needed some char, but they use the right kind of ingredients which carries the pizza across the finish line and gives it the kind of greasy, I'm hung over and hate chain pizza kind of vibe. May I add the ranch is house made and not like a chain. I have a beef about these mom and pops not attempting blue cheese. Would it hurt you to try, please?7.1/10White Pizza with TomatoeAgain, great ingredients and simple is the approach and although I think char is a necessity for any 7.5 or above, I feel they know what they are and the price isn't unreasonable. 7.2/10Wings I love their approach on wings, not flowered but fried and possibly baked on the back end perhaps? Either way, they maintain their juicy flavor while have a crunchy skin that gives you solid texture. By far the more unique approach in the area.7.5/10The ranch is spot on and I would like to see them branch out with the blue cheese, but I was very impressed. Infernos quality has dropped big time and loses its crown, and I don't see that changing any time soon. As for Rodney's, they need more consistency to their cooking style but if I had to give the chip it's Mr Mikes because of price and simplicity."

They load up the big white containers with all the good stuff and better yet they're decently priced! I've tried several around the area and keep coming back to Bobs. Sometimes I order every couple weeks when I'm over that way for my daughters gym practice. Another positive, they are shareable! I definitely think they're big enough to split with your other half or bestie (esp if you order wings), whatever your fancy, haha.Take it from this Yelper and go get you some Big Shot Bobs steak salads!"
