"OMG. I am eating the menu and wishing I lived in The Burg. It's pouring outside, and we are staying close to AGH, but I need my Peppi's fix. I chuckled at a sign that said, "Wrong door, rookie." We got our usual, the Roethlisberger. But this time we also went for the Santucci, aka #27. Such a sensation in my mouth, sloppy, spicy, gooey, and filled with lots of stuff. Lots of meat. Order in advance and remember it is a cash only place. My wish, I wish they opened earlier . I still have cash left, and I want to take some home. Love Peppi's."
"So good! Honestly it's hard to find good wings anymore but these were great. Cooked to perfection. We tried the seasoned wings, garlic parm dry, and the mild ranch. All were great and we can't wait to try more!"
"A little bit of Brotherly love in Beaver... I decided to pop into a fairly new Philly cheesesteak place that my Mother-in-law has heard about. There was easy parking on the street in front of Philly originals and we had the place to ourselves at the time (great timing on our part, got busy before we left). They have a ample menu but I knew I was going straight classic cheesesteak, period. My wife went with the chicken cheesesteak and meatball hoagie for my son as well as cheese fries to share. The flavors were good, the meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. The bread was soft and fresh but the fries were the star of the night. The cheese sauce was delicious and plentiful. Overall the prices just ok for what you get, the sandwiches were tasty and everything was freshly cooked to order, Aloha"
"Really tasty subs. The cheesesteaks are as good as advertised. Their chicken cheesesteak which they call is very good also. It's their version of a BBQ chicken sub or a Buffalo chicken sub if you're curious why there isn't a Buffalo chicken sub on the menu it's the chicken cheesesteak and then you can add the sauces you want to make it a Buffalo chicken. The staff is very friendly and good to have conversation with. It's take out only but the staff is quick with making the subs and they are very quality. The subs however arent overly filling and pretty easy to finish. The prices of the subs might be a tiny bit high also but the taste is worth it. Overall a very quality sub shop"
"I have been here many times and they consistently provide above average subs. I typically steer toward their hot ones, the chicken parm being my favorite. You review the menu and order at a counter, then pay at the end of the line. You can't really see, but they are making your subs on the other side of the counter in front of you. Your sub size options are S/M/L. They offer fresh house cut fries that go great with the malt vinegar they provide. Some other things they showcase are their chocolate chip cookies and their lemonade. They can also provide catering/boxed lunches. One downside if they are alittle busy is the wait. It's not like subway, where they churn you out. Even though I ordered immediately when I walked in, it was still about 15 minutes for my food to come out. That said, the cashier was nice and apologetic and it is SO MUCH better than subway. They have a promotion going on through 4/30/20 where if you donate $2 for Down syndrome awareness, you get a free small sub with any purchase larger than $2. Good for Down syndrome awareness, good for my pocket and belly!"
"We stopped to pick up some lunch here on the Sunday we moved our son into his apartment the day before classes started. Atmosphere would get this place 2 stars. It's not much to look at. Pretty simple. No frills. No decorations. Very plain. Nothing fancy. But it's clean. Due to COVID, they had many of the tables roped off and only some of the tables open for seating inside. We ordered our food to go. The staff were friendly and prompt. They have 9" and 14" sandwiches. I had the 9" philly and it was DELICIOUS. We shared some of the Mexican fries, and they were pretty good. Prices were reasonable. I'd give the food 4 stars and the quality of service 4 stars. I'm always a little worried about eating at some places like this and wondering if I would regret it later, but I'm happy to say I didn't. The food was delicious AND it didn't give me any stomach issues later in the day. So I enjoyed the food we had here and I would totally go back and get lunch here again in the future."

Nice to actually go to where the sandwiches is has before are made fresh. All our sandwiches were delicious and the fries and chicken fingers a friend ordered were also good. Service was friendly. It was very hot, but not unbearable. The atmosphere is super casual/cafeteria. They also only accepted cash, which was very strange.

Peppi's is a classic institution in Pittsburgh. You want a true hogie...go to Peppi's. This location is small and it's constantly busy. You can dine in or order to go and they also offer pick-up. Go with a classic like the "cathedral" - ham, turkey, bacon and provolone cheese (get it warm for an extra kick). They also serve the classic Pittsburgh salad, with shaved beef and french fries on lettuce. I had more than one person eyeing my salad! Located in the heart of the strip district - there is only street parking available and it can be a challenge.

You can't really ever go wrong with Phillys. Every time you walk in the door and hear the bells jingle you know you are in for a mouth watering meal. The hardest part is deciding whether you are going to order an old fashioned steak or chicken.. today I solved that ancient riddle - order both and thank me later.

After hearing about simply subs from many Pittsburgh friends we knew it would be a must try. We went today for lunch and were not disappointed! First- the staff are lovely. This is a takeout joint but plenty of people were enjoying their lunches in the spacious lot. Very social distance friendly! Second- the food was ready within 10 minutes. Quick fast and easy. We ordered a Blt sub and a hot Italian with mayo and hot peppers. Third- the food was absolutely fantastic. Haven't had a better Italian maybe anywhere. They use soft Mancini rolls and super fresh ingredients. The meat is fresh cut and the veggies were incredibly crisp. Overall I would recommend this place to anybody! We will definitely be back.

Back in the day when Herlocher owner the multiple CC Peppers locations in town, it was *THE* place to find the best cheesesteaks and subs. Almost everyone in town loved CC Peppers.Fast forward to today and you have a sloppy, rude owner who hired burnt-out, equally sloppy and rude staff. Cold cuts are typically at the end of their life, the lettuce is often littered with wilted/brown bits, and the grill used to make your cheesesteak isn't cleaned very often. Also, I've never seen the staff wash their hands after handling dirty stuff, so I'm surprised this place hasn't been slapped with a health code violation. One annoyance is that back in 2022 they had their own masking policy when everyone else in town stopped masking requirements due to township recommendations. I had no problem wearing a mask back then if a shop owner requested it. But if you forgot to bring your own, they wouldn't even give you a disposable mask. They'd simply refuse service.Another annoyance is that this place used to only take cash. They were one of the few hold outs to switch to credit/debit cards not too long ago. And even with cards they're weird about it. They have a card minimum and I swear they bought their card machine used as a relic of the past since it takes forever to run it and print you a receipt.A final annoyance for me is the way they have you line up and process your order. It's not friendly, as it's more akin to a Seinfeld episode than anything inviting. You can't see the toppings, you have a giant menu on the wall that you can't view ahead of time until it's your turn, and the staff expect you to order everything in their own way. Don't even think about asking them a question unless you want to get chewed out for it.But besides the annoyances, what drove me away permanently was the increasingly worsening sanity conditions combined with the extremely rude staff. When the staff look at you as an inconvenience instead of a valued customer, it's time to stop giving them any money.

I have been wanting to go in for a visit due to all the reviews on Facebook. Still has the same setup as the old Campeti's pizza that previously occupied the space. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. There is a cooler with a selection of pop & of course you can get Turners Iced Tea. We opted for silicon slices with pepperoni & a slice of white with ricotta and spinach. Pizza came up quickly. I will say the crust was so light & amazing. Sauce was very good but a little too much for me. My husband and I really appreciated the amount of pepperoni on the pizza also. The white pizza was a regular slice & it had great flavor also. We surely will be back. Just wish they sold a whole smaller pie so I can get a fresh piece. Staff is super friendly too. I totally appreciate a smile & a nice hello.

"Our friends rave about this his pizza. It was easy to order online. They don't have specialty pizzas, but you can customize a classic or Sicilian style. As someone who doesn't eat red meat, I was hoping for a chicken topping option, but they didn't have one. The order was done quickly for pick up.The pizza itself definitely hit the spot. It wasn't an overly thick crust, but still nice and doughy. If you're looking for a good, tasty, greasy kind of pizza this is your spot."
"Awesome little surprise on a big road trip for us. Homemade focaccia Panini's. Need I say more? Super friendly staff made us feel like family!"
"We hadn't been since it first opened, went last month and WOW! Amazing burger. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend it"
"Came in for a quick lunch on our way out town. Great little spot. No frills. Fresh. Solid subs. Good service."
"Ate here the other evening, it's spring break so the town was dead at night.Got the large cheesesteak WIT onions, sweet peppers and whiz.It WAZ GUD!no place to sit so I just ate it standing updude working there was cool too.they have a lot of cool beers in the fridge though the prices seem slightly high but what do I know I'm from Florida."
"Got drive thru today to take to the park... was so hot, fresh and tasty! Cheese fries were crispy and delicious too. Excited for this new option near white oak!"
"As soon as my buddy from Butler called me while I was on my drive here to say that Charley's was gone, I was unhappy. I saw absolutely no point in rebranding this place as a slightly-less cool version of Mr. Charley himself, but I guess we'll have to make do with what it is now. The Chicken California slaps every time. I can't get enough of that stuff in Intercourse."
"Talk about the service being terrible!! The mall was closing in about 30 minutes so I wanted to grab something to eat. The manager was on his phone when I came up to the counter, so I waited. He started talking to me while still on the phone. He took my order while still on the phone. I ordered a California chicken and it comes with ranch which was splattered all over the place. I asked the manager where the napkins were, he pointed to the end of the counter. I walked over there and there were no napkins. I asked for a side of mayo and was told I had to pay 75 cents. It is too bad that this location gives Charleys a bad name."
