To be completely honest, I wasn't impressed or blown away. I wish I would've ordered a cupcake and left the rest at the door. Unfortunately I didn't even order one of the cupcakes. I came here participating in small business Saturday and Pittsburgh Shopopoly. We purchased a container of cookie dough and brownie batter and one of the hot chocolate balls/bombs. The hot chocolate ball broke before we even got home. That was unfortunate but not entirely their fault. Although packaging doesn't give much support in preventing this from happening.The cookie dough and brownie batter tasted like butter and brown sugar. There really wasn't any other flavor. I've had other edible cookie dough brands and did not have this experience. There wasn't much of a flavor distinction between the two separate flavors in the container regardless of one being "cookie" dough and one being "brownie" batter. The service received was okay. The girl working had little knowledge of the days intended event of Shopopoly and we didn't receive the advertised free chocolates with purchases. Maybe we missed a detail about spending a specific amount but either way, the employee didn't have a clue about it. Cupcakes looked absolutely to die for but I've seen other great cupcakes around the city. I don't intend on returning as there are so many other options for sweets and baked goods.

Such a well-stocked candy store. Fun to browse around for all types candy. But, the best parts would be the ice cream counter and the freshly made candy counter. Of course, I had to purchase a "few" chocolates, of which I can attest to their deliciousness!One point to single out -- there are 2 doors to the entrance, both of which have one single step up to the entrance. This would appear to be hindrance to someone in a wheelchair or less mobile.

Close your eyes and face away from the front of this kitschy little shop in the south hills. Open them. You should imagine you're on a boardwalk somewhere on the East Coast. Imagine you can hear seagulls, waves crashing, and the sounds of people having a good time. Great little sweet shoppe with gelato, Home made truffles, chocolate covered sweets and treats. Even treats for the pooch. A bit pricey, two gelatos was 14 bucks. We tried peanut butter cup and salted caramel. Both were decadent and loaded with different textures. Not worth 7 bucks though. Free parking, bonus star there. They also have those hard to find candy bars from youth. Bun candy bars, Reggie bars, Milk Shake Bars, pixie sticks and more.

A delightful candy store with a wide variety of treats. I had a hard time making a decision but went with some choco covered pretzels. They were great, both the dark chocolate and the Kit-Kat coated one.The prices seemed reasonable for quality candy. The best part was that there was an adorable little girl in the store and she was have a grand time looking at all the candies. When I said "She's like a kid in a candy store" she laughed and then plopped down. It was too cute. When I'm back in Squirrel Hill, I'll definitely visit The Moose!

Great mom and pop Chocolate shop in Finleyville, Pa. Chocolate is smooth, and yummy, starts melting in your hand as soon as you hold it. They have everything you need for your Chocolate fix. This day, I got the Lemon and Blueberry Vanilla bark, Chocolate covered PB cream Oreos, and PB meltaways, everything delicious. If you love chocolate, this place is a must!

When my Mother was alive, every Easter and Christmas My family would receive a box in the mail from Wilson Candy in Jeannette, PA. Even my friends here in Houston, TX would ask if Mom's package arrived yet..lol When I came up to visit Mom n Dad every chance I got we would surely make a trip into your wonderful store for a supply of some of the BEST Chocolates I've ever tasted. Now Mom and Dad are passed away and I"m in a wheel chair, unable to drive but soooo missing this wonderful candy, and my kids remember getting your chocolates and talk about how good they were also. I'm going to look for a menu of what's available so I can order a surprise box for my 3 kids and of course myself too.

When in Downtown Pittsburgh, I have made it a habit to stop at St Moritz Chocolatier located in One Oxford Centre. It was a very small store, tucked away next to Rivers Club elevators after come from the skywalk from the parking garage next to Macy's. It true had been a long time since I was there last and wasn't sure it would be with all the new remodeling Oxford Building was going through. I found it !!! Very happy and excited. The chocolate and candy is so very good and so worth the trip to find it !!! My granddaughter and I had a CANDY PARTY !!!

This place has lots of interesting sweets to choose from. I love their hot chocolate bombs!
