"I don't like beer but I love their Coltivare Italian Pilsner. Cold and delicious. With their smashed burger and fries , I can't be better."
"Such a great place! They always got great drink and food specials to go with the season. It's always busy and of course has a great view of the city."

There have been plenty of songs written about how the west was won. Here's one about this Burgher. 'Signature blend gourmet Burgher, fried onion strings, BBQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and bacon.' Sure, it doesn't rhyme, but this Burgher really sings.

"Big fan of this dive bar! Perfect place if you need quick food and a drink, and can sit at the bar. Also great to go with a group after a long bike ride on the trails! All the wraps are 10/10. Pump track wrap and rail trail are my favorite. I've had the best burgers ever here but they are not consistent. I think it depends on who is cooking because sometimes the are cooked to perfection, and other times they are dry and over done. But the toppings are always unique and good. Service is what you would expect from a dive bar, always friendly and attentive but let you be with your food and beer. Cool place."
"So many burgers, beer, and good vibes. I ordered the mini smash Oakland with fries. My husband ordered the Korean fries chicken with fries and a side order of mac n cheese. We had an array of beers. Everything was amazing. If you go, be sure to ask for Jen. She was our bartender and she's the best."
"My husband and I came here for dinner before our movie date. The atmosphere was great, service was excellent and the food was delicious. The only picture I got was of the outside because I was so hungry I ate before my phone did but overall great spot, will return."
"I actually dream of Moonlit Burgers haha! Gosh, I love this place. The smash burgers are SO good - super thin with crispy edges. I love the Martin's potato roll bun. I love the moon sauce. I love the shoestring fries. One of my favorite places! To top it off, they have a full bar and serve Millie's ice cream (yes, you can get a boozy milkshake). They have gluten free options as well as vegetarian options! You order at a counter and then are given a table number where they deliver your food to you. Will always recommend this spot for a delish smash burger!"
"The fries are my favorite part about Stack'd. They also have some of the most delicious cocktails I've ever had (not pictured), so I highly recommend them. They are usually busy so there might be a little bit of a wait and food takes usually pretty long to come out as well."
"Girls night out at the Brick and Barrel on Dorseyville Road. Nate was a great waiter. It is amazing how other wait staff can't read the room and carry their voices so loud. I had the Irish Elephant Old Fashion lovely. We shared the risotto balls and Chicken Pesto Pizza. Very good. ."
"Love these wings! Perfectly cooked, awesome sauces and flavors. EXACTLY what I wanted!!!!"
"Cute restaurant down the road from the grand resort. Had the fried chicken Benedict and a pumpkin spice late, both were delicious! Great service also!"
"AUGUST HENRYS will always be my favorite. They are so friendly and the food is always amazing. We go on Fridays for Karaoke night and it's always so lively. I would recommend this place. We got bones less bites and a patty melt and I would suggest other stuff on the menu like the zucchini planks, chipotle burger, and pierogis."
"House of 1000 beers is AMAZING! I honestly have never had a bad experience whether having a drink and food there OR getting it to go. The pizza is ALWAYS consistently good. I order extra cheese and you can ALWAYS tell they put it on. The poutine is amazingly good too with a huge portion. Love the staff and this spot. Lucky it's so close to me!"

Chili & cheese hot dogs with jalapeños, with fries is the bomb. They were are so good! You get 2 big dogs for like $11. I like their burgers of course, but the chili cheese dogs are a yummy change. Plus they go good with beer. They have outdoor seating too. And pup friendly patio area.

Went here with a bunch of friends and had a great time! I had their winter ale and it was delicious. They have a wide selection of beer and cocktails. I was really impressed with their "mocktail" menu for dry January. They have a wide variety of bar foods. We got the crab Rangoon nachos and smoked pork belly bites for the table, both appetizers very unique and tasty. I got the coughlin's burger and would definitely recommend.Staff is very friendly and accommodating to our groups needs.I will be coming back very soon! This is a great place to take family or friends who are visiting Pittsburgh. Parking can be tricky so make sure you arrive early enough to find a spot. We ended up parking down the hill in a parking garage. Also, if you have a party larger than 9, they won't split the checks. Make a reservation because this place gets packed quick!

A couple of us always grab some fast delicious grub before heading over to Pins Mechanical for some duckpin bowling. I usually get the hard tail burger or a super scrumptious wrap but tried the Babes on Bikes burger with fries. It was super tasty and the egg was cooked perfectly over easy with big slices of avocado. Their fries are batter dipped, I think, so they come out very crisp and full of flavor. They also have great beers on tap and terrific service. This is a wonderful local place to grab a quick bite.

Full disclosure...I luv this place and their menu. But tonight, the service was off and the food missed the mark. I had never had their wings before tonite....and I won't ever again. Who doesn't shake their wings in the sauce? These were fried and then served with sauce on the side....i didn't think I went to KFC! The bacon appetizer and hush puppies were good...but that honey butter that was served with the hush puppies was like crisco in a cup. You couldn't dunk ur puppy in it. Better to warm it up or serve hot honey. The chicken finger app was great as always...great breading and juicy. To be clear, I don't fault our server...I think the delay was in the kitchen. The place was not that crowded...and there was no one at the bar, so the bartender could have helped deliver drinks instead of phone surfing.

I absolutely LOVE Moonlit Burgers. Pittsburgh, specifically the South Hills, really needed a place like this! I'm also happy that it's in a convenient spot for me. The place itself is small so if you go on a busy night, you will definitely wait but I feel like the wait isn't that bad because they get people in and out quickly enough. Each time I have been, the staff have all been really nice and made sure tables were cleared and that you got your food quickly. I've not had any milkshakes here, yet, but I can tell you the food is really delicious. The burgers are yummy, and in my opinion, the single is just the perfect burger. Everything they put on this burger from the pickles to the onions and sauce really compliment the meat itself. And the potato bun is so good! I can't also say enough about their fries. I'm not a shoestring fry type of girl but man I love theirs. They're salty and crispy just how fries should be. I also really enjoy the chicken tenders that are brined in pickle juice, makes the chicken even better. Will definitely keep coming here, it's such a stellar place to eat!

While Stack'd gives off major college bar vibes, it packs a pretty decent punch when it comes to quality in the food department. Located right off the University of Pittsburgh campus in the heart of all the action, it's definitely got an upbeat atmosphere that make it a great place to meet up, socialize, and hang out.For appetizers/sides, we ordered curly fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. These I'd consider pretty average (3/5), with nothing in the recipe that added any distinctive wow factor when it comes to taste. The mozzarella sticks were underwhelming with regards to quality, and were covered with parmesan cheese, which detracted from the taste you're supposed to get from the mozzarella cheese. For meals, we had the burger and chicken sandwich. These were both a solid 4.5/5 and very good. I liked that you can fully customize them with toppings, cheese, and buns, and they were cooked/prepared to perfection. Service was friendly too, and our waitress checked in with us just the right amount, Stack'd is definitely a place I'd recommend to others and return to, but I'd skip the appetizers/sides next time and just go with the main meals which were delicious.

I visited Brick & Barrel Cross Keys for the first time during Pittsburgh Restaurant Week, and despite its immense popularity, I was seated immediately--no wait at all. That alone was a great start.I ordered The Barnyard Burger, their specialty duck fat fries, and what a bourbon hot chocolate from their seasonal special drinks menu. Simply put, this was the best burger I have ever had. Everything about it--from the quality of the meat to the toppings and the way it was cooked--was phenomenal. I enjoyed it so much that I returned just a week later to try another burger, The Gunslinger, along with regular fries and the Spinach Artichoke Dip appetizer. Once again, I was not disappointed--the flavors were outstanding, and everything was cooked to perfection.Of all the restaurants I visited during Restaurant Week, this was by far the best experience. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere, an experience all on its own, really made it stand out, and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for incredible burgers and a top-tier dining experience, Brick & Barrel Cross Keys should be at the top of your list!

"Don't be misled by the lighter crowd, as it's tucked away behind an unsuspecting bar. This spot is an honest, down-to-earth burger joint, and it's the place to go that walks that fine line between anything beyond a fast-food burger and a bougie $20-dollar modern-design-casual joint. You can choose to chill on the deck, in the bar, or call in and get it to go - your order will arrive perfectly cooked to your specifications, accompanied by a side of fries and ketchup. Here, you're in complete control of your order - either choose from the menu's creations or craft that burger just the way you've been craving and savor the no-fuss experience!"
"The Food and the service were fantastic! For a small storefront, they had plenty of seating for singles and groups! I would definitely go there again!"
"Okay, update #3. It's been 15 years since my last review! Murray Avenue Grill has been a mainstay along the titular street for many years. My husband and I came here before going to a movie at the Manor Theater. I went for the Pittsburgh Burger--bacon, sharp cheddar, etc. It was done perfectly. My husband opted for the Saxonburg burger. Fried pickles and sharp cheddar--good thing he's not due for a cholesterol check after that one.One thing--we did have a bit of a wait for our food. The place is small . So on a busy night, the kitchen, which is also small, can get backed up. Just be sure to allow extra time if, say, you're gong to a movie, etc."
"Still a GREAT place to stop and dine. Used to eat lunch here monthly when I covered the area in my pharmaceutical days. Solid menu and very nice staff. Beautiful location Riverside."
"This is such an underrated restaurant in South Side! I've never heard of this place before and stumbled upon it in my search for restaurants in South Side. The food menu is quite big and is sure to have something for everyone. They do not take reservations but my group of 5 had no issues getting seated right away on a Friday night. I tried the ahi tuna wrap and the detox retox cocktail. Both were delicious! The wrap was way more flavorful than i expected and the sweet potato tots I got on the side with it were phenomenal. Everyone in my group loved what they got as well and we were all quite impressed with this place. Definitely will be coming back again!"
"Stoke's always has a nice beer selection on tap and plenty in the cooler to choose from. You can either eat in the bar area or the dining room - we prefer the bar area. The bartender is your server so if the bar is busy, sometimes they don't get to the tables as often as you might like but you can walk up and get their attention. Their food has been consistent over the few times we've been there. I really enjoyed the roast beef wrap which is nicely grilled and crispy on the outside. Their coleslaw and broccoli salad were both super good! We also tried the green fries which come with artichokes, pesto, and brie cheese that were very good. They get a nice mix of old/young patrons and the vibe is laid back."
"Stopped here at the suggestion of my girlfriend for breakfast. The diner is fairly small, it does have takeout and there is counter as well as booth seating.Service was very good and our waitress was very attentive to our needs. She went with eggs over easy with a side of slab bacon. I decided to try the make it yourself omelette. Their omelettes are made with 4 extra large eggs and you have a choice of 3 ingredients with cheese being one of them. I ordered it with a side of home fries and rye bread. We got our food rather quickly. My omelette was huge but I am grateful I ordered it with swiss cheese which made it lighter and with mushrooms and green peppers. The home fries were not greasy and the marbled rye bread slices were generous. My girlfriend enjoyed her breakfast as well. The place wasn't crowded when we arrived nor did it get crowded during our visit. Sat mornings must be a good time to drop in.Prices are reasonable for what you would expect at this diner. Good food and outstanding service. Definitely will return.Located in the shoppes of Noblestown Rd in Westwood the shops have their own parking lot."
"Great atmosphere! Went for Christmas holiday with my wife and it was great food and decorations!"
"I stopped in a couple weeks ago to have a nice cold IPA on a super hot day after showing my gf one of my favorite places in the city for the first time, the Duquesne incline observation deck. I always try to stop in here and enjoy a refreshment while on the hill checking out the views or before and/or after having dinner at one of the many great restaurants on Mt. Washington. It's a great little spot with good food, great drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. The service wasn't that great on the day we went, but I get it the hill was packed with many wedding parties it seems and I know how those people can take a toll on you. Either way, I've had many great experiences here and I recommend it no matter what."
"It was decent - lots of food and super crowded. The ordering experience was a little complicated."
"Great place for dinner before heading over to PPG Paints. Great burger! Great drinks!Service was pretty darn fast even with a crowd coming in."
"The service was great! I got the eilenburger and it was amazing!! You can't beat the refillable fresh cut fries!! Everything is amazing!! Will be going back!"
"Food typical burger jointService everyone is so friendly Ambiance sports bar We came multiple times as we were staying at the hotel next door, favorite night was Monday which was tennis trivia night!! (Questions were hard )"
"Stopped in to watch the game and had a great experience. Impressed by their chicken wings, service and even got a visit from the owner. Lots of TVs, and more than a dozen micro brews on tap. ...and before you leave try the ice cream which is sourced locally from Cockeye creamery, the deep chocolate is fantastic and I'm a connoisseur."
"Great food, atmosphere, and service. The steak house no bun with zucchini was on point."
"The best Cobb salad ever! Nicely chopped, fresh ingredients were delicious. Homemade blue cheese dressing, at least it tastes home made, was amazingly good. I watched the burgers go by and kind of regretted my order lol, but really enjoyed this salad and will definitely repeat this order!!!The Block at Northway is actually a good place to stop on a Friday evening around 5:30p.m. you can get seated and served and eventhough its occupied, it's nit crazy busy and feels comfortable. Servers and staff are kind and friendly too, which is always appreciated."
"A local legendary restaurant that never disappoints! Best chicken around. Awesome vintage atmosphere. One of the Yo's treasures...and one of the unique pizzas in the area."
"This is the first time I've visited this location of the popular chain. Atria's is currently doing retro month bringing back features from previous menus. I used to love their Hawaiian chicken and was so glad to see it on this special menu. It comes with rice and green beans and is covered in a Teriyaki sauce. It took a while to get the food by my waitress did apologize for being so late. Needless to say I really enjoyed it. Only wish they would keep it on the menu. This location is very trendy and has outdoor seating available. They have a full bar and a spacious dining room. They are located is a small mall behind Aldi's past Donaldson's crossroads. Highly recommend them for holiday meals. You can't get a better holiday meal elsewhere for a decent price. They also have pick up available."
"So there I was on the 133rd anniversary of the great Johnstown flood, about 30 minutes before an event downtown. What was a boy to do? Stop by a local watering hole and have a drink. And there was Scott's. So I stopped by for a beer. And it felt like home.I hadn't been back to SW PA since I moved to MD in 2020. But it get just like home. Friendly, talkative people who shared stories and laughed and just enjoyed being together.Yinz Wes the world unite!"
"So good! Honestly it's hard to find good wings anymore but these were great. Cooked to perfection. We tried the seasoned wings, garlic parm dry, and the mild ranch. All were great and we can't wait to try more!"
"Popped in for dinner on a Monday, a couple hours before the Steelers game, had no issues getting a table but it filled up closer to game time. Our server was nice and order was accurate but there wasn't much sense of urgency. Good selection of drinks and seasonal beers and the food was good! I liked the wings a lot but wish the butter garlic was a little butterier. Sort of felt like a dry rub. Either way, will go back at some point."
"I had to do an update since my original review. Especially since some things have happened in the span of years between my reviews. A few years back, Coney Island wasn't doing too well. Which is bad for Johnstown, as it has been a community staple and one of the few reasons to go to Downtown Johnstown. I'm not absolutely sure of all the specifics, but the family that owned it passed it onto their son (I think) and then the business kind of got ran into the ground. When the news hit that Coney Island was to close, the community felt that. But, all is not lost, someone came in and saved the day. They bought the business and reopened to the public just the way they had left things and with a few improvements. The food is still spectacular. I will always come here when I am near it. Pop in for either a quick eat-in lunch or take home meal. When I say that the food is spectacular it can come off as an understatement. They did not change a thing about the way the hot dogs, chili, or burgers are prepared. That is the charm of this place.I have yet to come here to try out breakfast, but I am fine with popping in whenever I have the time. You must try the Coney Dogs and a Sundowner. I think what puts these over the top is the chili. That chili is something that feels like you need to bathe in it. It is comforting and satisfying. And the fries, amazing! Any place that prepares the fries as you order them is tops in my book. Not only are they prepared fresh, the are fresh cut. Get them topped with the chili and cheese and it is a meal all by itself. I swear on that. The improvements they have made are a true compliment to this place. They now accept card payments. No long a 'Cash Only' establishment. This alone has upped my visitations here. They also offer delivery as well now. They adapted to the pandemic and I honestly think they have benefited from it all.I can honestly say that this is my favorite eatery in all of Johnstown. It's nostalgic and welcoming."
"Upstreet Diner is a delightful culinary gem in Pittsburgh, nestled in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood, around the corner from both my son and daughter. We all met here for our final breakfast after a week's visit and it was a treat with outstanding food and staff. They offer a unique and inviting atmosphere, a fusion of American and Turkish cuisine, and an array of mouthwatering dishes. Since its opening in 2021, this cozy establishment has quickly become a local favorite, attracting patrons with its great breakfast, brunch, and lunch options.Upstreet Diner was founded by chef and owner Emre Ozen, whos goal was to create a welcoming eatery that combined his passion for food with his love for the Pittsburgh community. After obtaining degrees in hotel management and culinary arts, Ozen brought his extensive experience to the Steel City, ultimately choosing Squirrel Hill as the perfect location for his first restaurant venture, and he nailed it. Upon entering Upstreet Diner, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that reflects the restaurant's friendly, neighborhood vibe. The space has cozy seating arrangements, natural light streaming in through large windows, and tasteful decor. Indeed their menu is a testament to Chef Ozen's diverse culinary background, offering a delightful fusion of American and Turkish flavors serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch seven days a week. While every dish we had was a delight, some standout items, according to others, have become fast favorites:* Deluxe-shuka: Two eggs, cevapi, and potato in house-made tomato sauce, topped with sheep feta, green onions, and harissa, served with a side of toast.* Avocado Toast: A flavorful combination of avocado, pickled red onions, and feta cheese atop toasted sourdough bread.* Salmon Omelette: A delicate and satisfying omelette filled with smoked salmon, spinach, and cream cheese, served with a side salad. On our visit my daughter really enjoyed the Ben-eddict-ive with eight layers of thin dough cheese pastry topped with mortadella overeasy egg, and hollandaise aioli, side of Israeli salad. My son-in-law thought the Deluxe-shuka with two eggs, cevapi, and potato in house-madetomato sauce, topped with sheep feta, green onions, and harissa side of toast. My honey very much enjoyed the Spanish feta omelette with baby spinach, sun-dried tomato, and sheep feta omelet, topped with horseradish & chive cheddar cheese, she remarked on how light and fresh it was. My son and I had the simple Scramble which is scrambled eggs, green onion, side of Sujuk which is a mildly spicy breakfast sausage that's%100 beef, and amazing, with homefries and toast. It was tasty and fresh but the was the star! Bottom line: This place is very trendy, clean, and comfortable with a very attentive and delightful staff that serve up some 5 star fresh food at a reasonable price that is a great spot in Squirrel Hill. Highly recommend!!!! Upstreet Diner is open seven days a week: Monday - Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMVisit their website at www.upstreetdiner.com for more information, or connect with them on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/upstreetdiner."
