"Don't let the Yelp score scare you off! I visited here with a large party of 16. They had a big space in the back for groups which was nice. The servers did a great job managing the large group, got everyone's orders correctly, split the bills up without issue. The best thing I tried was the Italian egg rolls. Unique and great flavors. I ordered the eggplant parm. The sauce was surprisingly good (I'm Italian and my dad's a chef - I have excessively high standards for red sauce!) and the eggplant was cooked well. I wish there had been some ricotta and maybe topped with extra mozzarella. I think bringing some sides of bread and water pitchers would've made things even better. Everyone enjoyed their food and there were zero complaints on the service or the food quality."
"Upstreet Diner is a delightful culinary gem in Pittsburgh, nestled in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood, around the corner from both my son and daughter. We all met here for our final breakfast after a week's visit and it was a treat with outstanding food and staff. They offer a unique and inviting atmosphere, a fusion of American and Turkish cuisine, and an array of mouthwatering dishes. Since its opening in 2021, this cozy establishment has quickly become a local favorite, attracting patrons with its great breakfast, brunch, and lunch options.Upstreet Diner was founded by chef and owner Emre Ozen, whos goal was to create a welcoming eatery that combined his passion for food with his love for the Pittsburgh community. After obtaining degrees in hotel management and culinary arts, Ozen brought his extensive experience to the Steel City, ultimately choosing Squirrel Hill as the perfect location for his first restaurant venture, and he nailed it. Upon entering Upstreet Diner, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that reflects the restaurant's friendly, neighborhood vibe. The space has cozy seating arrangements, natural light streaming in through large windows, and tasteful decor. Indeed their menu is a testament to Chef Ozen's diverse culinary background, offering a delightful fusion of American and Turkish flavors serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch seven days a week. While every dish we had was a delight, some standout items, according to others, have become fast favorites:* Deluxe-shuka: Two eggs, cevapi, and potato in house-made tomato sauce, topped with sheep feta, green onions, and harissa, served with a side of toast.* Avocado Toast: A flavorful combination of avocado, pickled red onions, and feta cheese atop toasted sourdough bread.* Salmon Omelette: A delicate and satisfying omelette filled with smoked salmon, spinach, and cream cheese, served with a side salad. On our visit my daughter really enjoyed the Ben-eddict-ive with eight layers of thin dough cheese pastry topped with mortadella overeasy egg, and hollandaise aioli, side of Israeli salad. My son-in-law thought the Deluxe-shuka with two eggs, cevapi, and potato in house-madetomato sauce, topped with sheep feta, green onions, and harissa side of toast. My honey very much enjoyed the Spanish feta omelette with baby spinach, sun-dried tomato, and sheep feta omelet, topped with horseradish & chive cheddar cheese, she remarked on how light and fresh it was. My son and I had the simple Scramble which is scrambled eggs, green onion, side of Sujuk which is a mildly spicy breakfast sausage that's%100 beef, and amazing, with homefries and toast. It was tasty and fresh but the was the star! Bottom line: This place is very trendy, clean, and comfortable with a very attentive and delightful staff that serve up some 5 star fresh food at a reasonable price that is a great spot in Squirrel Hill. Highly recommend!!!! Upstreet Diner is open seven days a week: Monday - Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMVisit their website at www.upstreetdiner.com for more information, or connect with them on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/upstreetdiner."

"going down memory lane and doing Pizza from DNG's was awesome. I took my wife and nephew there. We had a great time while I was visiting Beaver county"
"TL:DR - I would travel in the bitter cold to have this again, and I've never been a fan of Chili. I'll be honest: I was fully prepared to take down some "decent" food to support a good cause (read about that on their site) - and I've never been the type to crave chili even on the most frigid days. But it only took 1 person to come back to the office with an absolutely loaded bowl of chili with cornbread, rice, tortilla chips, sour creme and cheese before the entire office was bearing the frigid temps to hustle over to the parking lot where the Revival Chili truck was parked. These are more like platters or chili bowls than cups/bowls of chili. The meat varieties are nearly all (if not all) meat. I plan to make my way through them all, but today I went with the spicy chicken chili on top of rice, with chips, cheese, and sour creme. It is spicy - not uncomfortably so, but there's pronounced flavor and heat. If you're particularly sensitive to that sort of thing, just ask for a recommendation to moderate. I've heard the classic beef is more mild - I'll report back after trying. The Gluten Free crowd will appreciate the ample options and obvious signage, my only wish is that a gluten free cornbread becomes available soon enough. If not, the place is already better than good, and well worth visiting."
"OMG. Fantastic experience. Not what we were expecting at all. Munhall 3.0. Very cool, good food, and upscale but not too crazy bar. Buffalo chicken dip was really hot but awesome. Bartender, Bobbie, was wonderful. Met one of the owners, Bethany, really nice and down to earth. We'll definitely be back. It's the slightly upscale environment you want in a local establishment. Thank you!!!"
"Good pub grub and beer, a must stop every time we're in the Johnstown area. My wife's family is from the area (I am not) and they will tell you this long-winded spiel about how the wings here are like the original "Haven" wings blah blah blah.... the food here is good enough to stand on its own, extensive background story or no. Jumbo wings are a classic staple which my wife will eat here then take a dozen home to eat cold tomorrow. They are good and tasty and unlike wings I've had anywhere else. The Reuben sandwich is usually my go-to, it's large and flavorful with quality ingredients and really thick-sliced bread. Good selection of beers but no Iron City (kinda surprising?). Give this place a try it's worth it. I'm sure I'll be back next time I'm in the area."
"The food was delicious and the service was great front of house was one of the best server we had in a while we will be back again"
"Saw the two reviews and thought ok......let's drop by and see if they deserve more and you are reading the answer to that.........hell yes! I had the single cheeseburger combo with a lemon safe and this was by far the best burger I have had in my 8 months of working in Ohio. Like the earlier review says, they give In-and-Out a real run for their money. Burger was amazing as well as the fries. Real simple menu as well with some added surprises. Give this place a try.......you won't be sorry."
"Was going to stop at McDonald's but I'm sooo glad I didn't. The burger I got was outstanding."
"The interior of the restaurant is a laid-back Cali surfer vibe. The cleanliness of the place adds to the overall positive experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the ordering process at the counter easy. While the prices may be a bit on the higher side, it's becoming the norm in today's world. The Fresh Burger was satisfying, offering a nice portion size. The milkshake was a standard recipe. The hushpuppies, on the other hand, were delicious and added a flavorful twist to the meal. Although I personally prefer Five Guys, this restaurant still presents itself as a cool option worth trying out."
"Made reservations for a large party on a Friday night. The place is small but in an adorable stylish way. They were able to utilize all of the space. The hostess booth is located by the alley entrance which is no biggie just a bit different than what people are used to. The food was amazing!!! We had the tamale sharables and we practically licked the plate clean. I ordered the pork chop and added cooked mushrooms. It was honestly the best pork chop I've ever eaten! Everyone loved their food and desserts!"
"Best burgers in the area! Fresh, homemade burgers with any toppings you choose. Awesome fresh cut fries as well. Nice variety in menu items including their pasta dishes. This is our go-to for quick meals!"

Delicious food, huge portions, and great service! The fish sandwich was amazing and so big it was like two meals. Best greens I've had in forever and the Italian eggrolls were to die for. Can't beat this place!

Had a nice family lunch here the other day. My 3-year old enjoyed a halloumi sandwich (part of the Cyprus plate) in one of her first restaurant meals. Service was pretty quick which also helped her not become too impatient.I got the salmon omelette which was huge (with salmon on it but not in it; interesting take). The side potatoes are very crispy and delicious. They pay a nice homage to Pamela's which used to occupy this space.

Revival Chili is my absolute favorite food truck and I always try to track them down when they're near me. This past week they were parked at Northland Library, so I decided to swing by and get a bowl. I got the traditional beef chili served over cornbread, which was topped with cheese, sour cream, and chips. The chili was flavorful but not spicy (they do have spicy varieties) which is exactly what I wanted. The bowl was $9 and was filling, which was perfect for a meal. Their mission is really amazing as well and is another reason I love to support them. I will definitely be back when they're near me again!

Do you love good food and drinks? Do you love supporting small family-owned businesses that clearly put their heart and soul into their establishment? Then this is the place for you!!! The decor is rustic chic without overdoing it, but just enough to make you feel warm and cozy when you step inside. I tried their burger with blue cheese with a side of fries (beer cheese included) and boy oh boy was it good!!!! Everything tasted SUPER fresh and clearly homemade. My dad tried their smoked wings and said they were outstanding!!! This place is such a welcomed addition to Munhall, and I honestly can't wait to go back!!!

We decided to try this place out while getting some Christmas shopping done. After all - it's right in the mall so worth a shot. What a pleasant experience it was! The place is packed with televisions which is great for sports minded people like me!The food is very reasonably priced and the menu offers great variety as well. My Wife had the fish sandwich which was huge & I had the Reuben which was also very large. The beer batter fries are a worthy add on and it was quickly served. Great place - great service and we were happy to find such a gem in the mall!!!

I will reiterate my view of Sespe Burger, which is pretty much the same thing I said about their Boardman location...Sespe Burger is "thee" best damn burger this side of In-N-Out. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers. The breakfast burritos are great as well. I recommend ordering the sausage burrito and adding bacon to it.And don't overlook their special house-made lemonade. The blueberry lemonade, guava lemonade, and the new blood orange lemonade have all been awesome.

"BOOM! Steak Night achieved. Listen, I like the chill decor. You can tell an old school nerd rocks this place, but also with a touch of class and eclectic history for Fayetteville-Nam. I dig it. I have heard legends of this Delmonico steak night for some time and glad I finally journeyed out of my cave in Scottdale to witness. Will post photos in the comments of this review. Before I get to the steak... can I discuss the Guinness??? It was a perfect pour, which seems rare in these parts, and perfect temperature too. Some people serve Guinness way too frosty cold which is dumb. Not at Hutch's! I had to have two. Because... well nobody can drink just one good pint. I was disappointed there was no cheese sticks because I see they are also legendary, BUT I was here for the steak mainly. Longer story short, the steak was perfect to me. Tender, not over seasoned, not a bunch of fatty junk hanging out. Nobody wants a bunch of fatty junk hanging around their steak, man. I also respected that the added grilled vegetables weren't crazily over cooked. Listen, it's 8:30pm and I was there at 6p and I'm still stuffed. I won't persuade you against ordering an appetizer, but brother you're not gonna need that cause this monster $10.99 Delmonico steak is gonna fill your ass up fast. Super tasty. And I don't know about any other foodies out there, but when I roll up on a new joint to me as see a packed house, well I reckon there's a reason, and I saw a ton of burgers and other food coming out as well. So... I'll be back for more grub and perfect Guinness soon."
"This is such an underrated restaurant in South Side! I've never heard of this place before and stumbled upon it in my search for restaurants in South Side. The food menu is quite big and is sure to have something for everyone. They do not take reservations but my group of 5 had no issues getting seated right away on a Friday night. I tried the ahi tuna wrap and the detox retox cocktail. Both were delicious! The wrap was way more flavorful than i expected and the sweet potato tots I got on the side with it were phenomenal. Everyone in my group loved what they got as well and we were all quite impressed with this place. Definitely will be coming back again!"
"Still #1. Great burgers, atmosphere, and superb Staff. It's a nice place to bring kids. Their unique milkshakes are awesome.Everyone is always so nice and courteous."
"Great service! Pizza & wings were VERY good! We are from NY and were visiting our daughter in college and was hoping to find a great place to eat and this was perfect!"
"First time for me at what is a regular dig of my co-workers. Not at all disappointed. Antipasta salad was original and delicious and the portions were huge! Yum! Will eat from here again!"
"Worst BBQ place I've been to in a long time. We tried the Brisket sandwich which was edible on a plain old store bought hamburger bun, not good flavor and just plain bland. Purchasing sides here, you might as well burn your money as they were all horrible except the room temperature canned beans. All the other sides are just cheap, prepackaged store items that were just junk. Bottom line, for $36 we just two small servings of below average brisket and a serving of beans. Save your money and drive down the road further to Braddock's which has better tasting food all round."
"Americana at its finest. And they have a great bar and it's right next to the oldest suspension bridge in America. A true gem!!!"
"Just recently moved to the area and ordered wings from Wing it, and couldn't of been happier with the wings. We ordered 48 wings and was able to split the flavors six ways. They have some crazy sauces to choose from and your basics. Next time I'll be trying the French burger. Highly recommend!"
"I've been wanting to stop in to the Jay's in Boardman but haven't had a chance so when I was heading back from Columbiana and saw there was one in North Lima I decided to stop to pickup lunch. I got the gyro with fries combo - the fries were like any fresh cut fry but the gyro was to die for! Made with freshly cut gyro meat, not the pre-pack stuff that they heat on the grill, it was just so so good. I'll definitely be back for another one sometime very soon!"
"This place is a gem in the rough. The wings are excellent, especially so because of their seemingly 2.5 million different wing sauces. We're all getting used to the boards on the wall with new-arrival beers posted. How about a board announcing new arrival wing sauces? A couple of examples: Hot Strawberry & Root Beer. It's not a gimmick...they're all good!I also recommend the Block House Pumpkin ale from Pittsburgh Brewing if you're in the general area. It rivals Pumking for the closest rendition of pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top that I've had. And I've sampled a lot of 'em.The building and parking lot are old, but the ma & pa owners are continuously making improvements. And everyone is welcoming. So if you're on I-80 in western PA, do yourself a big favor...get off at Mercer, spot the Pitt Stop on the left, and stop in for some wings. To quote Clarence Worley in 'True Romance', "Throw caution to the wind and let the chips fall where they may" and try a wing sauce that piques your curiosity. Elvis definitely would approve."
"The food was amazing, the ambience was calm and the service was great they were so nice and respectful. Overall a great diner!"
"New name and owner in the Ole Allegheny sandwich shop. Not much has changed but the name and a few items on the menu. Waitress was very friendly. Some real good sandwiches and daily specials. Had the meatloaf special. Very good. Great place from breakfast or lunch."
"I order take out from here often... friendly folks, good pizza, huuuuge subs. Tips: get on the website for coupons. There is no dine in. Closed on Monday during the summer."
"A local legendary restaurant that never disappoints! Best chicken around. Awesome vintage atmosphere. One of the Yo's treasures...and one of the unique pizzas in the area."
"We had a fantastic experience here. We had a mixed party of kids and adults. They were accommodating to all. The bar drinks were very well made, each catered to our liking. The meals were prepared beautifully and carefully. Everything was delicious. The bruschetta was the favorite appetizer. The shrimp were huge! And the egg rolls were very good as well. The surf and turf was wonderfully displayed and delicious. The crab cake stole the show! The sea bass was great as well as the smoked filets. The salmon also got a raving review. The chef came to check on our party and told us about some of the items we had eaten. So friendly and passionate about his menu. Great addition to the Valley! I hope they keep it up! Highly recommend! We will return!"
"Bright, clean, and cheery! Delicious fast casual food. Fresh flavors and ingredients. Our food came out fast and well prepared."
"Forgot picture but got the fresh crab cake and it was delicious! Came with a creamy risotto and veggies mix. $28 seemed a bit steep though Service was good The dining area is meh but the bar looked bright and inviting!Plenty of parking"
"Last week, I was heading to a concert at Mr. Smalls and I wanted to grab some food beforehand so I looked up Millvale restaurants and found Bar 3. It had good reviews, so I figured I would give it a try! Thank you other Pittsburgh area Yelpers! I loved the atmosphere of Bar 3! It's perfect for a date night or a meal with friends. It's very spacious- a mixture of high and low tables. You seat yourself, so I sat at a low top table in the back of the restaurant. It's very clean and fresh! Since it was so hot on Friday, I didn't order a beer or cocktail- but they a great selection of local brews! To start, we ordered the pretzels. You get 4 pretzels for $9. They were very good - I definitely order them again! For my entree, I ordered the steak salad. To be honest it was kinda of small to be paying $13 for the size of the salad. The steak was cooked just right and the salad was delicious. My friend ordered the crab salad - she said it was good but also very small. Overall, I'm glad Bar 3 is now open in Millvale. I will definitely be back and try something new."
"The Food and the service were fantastic! For a small storefront, they had plenty of seating for singles and groups! I would definitely go there again!"
"It was decent - lots of food and super crowded. The ordering experience was a little complicated."
"I should give 5 stars just for the fact that someone is willing to venture into the bar/ restaurant business these days. 5 more stars for shining the place up as it used to be Johnny's Wife's Place, a long time staple in the community. Fun space and location. We came on a Friday night and was a little surprised to find a fairly empty bar. Thankfully for them, their liquor license is in the final approval stages and will help increase business. Until then, they do have a nice variety of complimentary alcoholic beverages to choose from.Menu is not overwhelming, which is a good thing. My smashburger was very good. Our server was very friendly and shared a few interesting facts about the reference for 1888. 1888 is the year the city of Jeannette was founded. Nice touch. We plan to return during football season to catch a few games on the large TV screens."
"We've been here twice and intend to go again soon. Fantastic food! Friendly and clean environment"
"Great service. The food is incredible, the biggest and best breakfast I ever had, prices are very reasonable"
