"Take a ride to Flavortown.... Yes using G.F's reference is a bit cheesy, but the food at Taj Mahal is anything but. I stopped in for the lunch buffet and as soon as I walked in all my senses were tingling, and in the good way. There were 3 seperate food areas with a ton of delicious looking items. I did not know what 90% of the dishes were, but everything looked so good and the aroma was so intoxicating that I sampled every single thing they had on the line. By the time I was finished I felt like a local stepping off the train in Mumbai. All the food was absolutely delicious and each dish prepared so beautifully. The service was top notch, I never needed for anything and my server also made some excellent suggestions, as to my eating experience I would definitely go back for the buffet. Prices were good for what you got and who knew I loved goat curry, Aloha"
"We came for the lunch buffet. Plenty of options for everyone. From fruits to salad bars to deep fried to the classic fusion dishes & soups to sautéed veggies to the sweetsI surely liked their offers and went back for seconds and thirds! Great value for the price. Spacious place and comfy booths. friendly staff. They also filled up a takeout box and paid per pound. Great option if you want some to go. Though I would recommend dining in. Overall great restaurant and I'm surely coming back for dinner."
"I'd like to comment on the Thanksgiving buffet our family had at DeNunzio's Latrobe. We always enjoy dining there but yesterday's buffet was exceptional. I tried a small spoon of everything and honesty couldn't find a flaw in anything! It was truly a five star experience so much so we've already booked the family Christmas Buffet! Truly delicious food, serving staff over the top attentive and from what I could see and hear the other guests were all raving about the experience! Well done, see you in December!Kevin"
"Very cool old building (the only drawback is that noise bounces around it). Their steaks are great even as leftovers, which isn't the case with most restaurants. Their steak salad is the best around."
"Great good selection and service. This restaurant has good food, amicable staff and is very clean. When I'm in town I always try to stop in."
"Good food, reasonable quality, nice folks running the place. A group of us have started a monthly lunch here, and everyone finds something to eat and enjoy. Nothing fancy, but everything is clean and the other patrons are respectful and the food is tasty."
"I had hibachi and some items from the buffet, it was all great. The sushi wasn't the most impressive but for all-you-can-eat what can you expect. Everything seemed fresh, proper temp, good quality. Service was good, drinks brought promptly."

Recently visited for the Thursday all-day buffet and had such a pleasant experience. We told the staff member at the front of house that we were there for the buffet, and he showed us to a table and immediately brought us water and pointed us to the buffet itself. The space has been freshly painted/modernized since I'd last visited, and it looks really nice inside! The buffet was well-stocked with varied dishes, both hot and cold, as well as chutney and other accompaniments. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly! We ordered mango lassis during our meal and those were also extremely good. You have the option of not dining with the buffet on a Thursday, as we saw a few tables that were opting to order from the menu, but I personally love the ability to sample all sorts of great stews and curries rather than ordering just one. I believe it was $18 pp for the buffet, which feels like an excellent deal for an AYCE meal. The buffet is offered every day for lunch (to my knowledge), as well as all-day on Saturday and Sunday in addition to Thursday.

Came here hopeful cause it was close to the airport and reviews were good. Maybe they are having a bad night? CONS - First I they advertise excellent bar service and in-fact the Manhattan is engraved on their windows. I ordered a Bourbon Manhattan than can with too much ice, lots of bourbon and no bitters. Ruined a good bourbon.Next - I order the 40.00 8oz Filet Mignon Medium with veggies. I ordered it medium, it came out rare and untested. I sent it back and less than 2 min later THeY BROUGHT ME the same steak I had already cut into, still rare!! Sent it back a third time with clear guidance to bring me a new steak that was MEDIUM. Third time they brought me out the SAME steak and still rare... seriously? After that I was done...Pros - the waitress was awesome, she was trying her best. The manager came and spoke with me, apologized and comped my meal. I also had the lemon cake (home made) and it was delicious!

My husband and ate dinner here for the first time recently. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. My husband got Chicken Romano and I had the Chicken Marsala. Both meals came with soup or salad. However when we received our entrees it was just two plates of chicken with no potato or vegetable. Apparently you can purchase your sides for an additional $3 each. The meals were each over twenty dollars already. It is a nicer restaurant so if a meal is $30 just charge what it costs to receive a complete entree instead of making it seem less expensive by not serving a full meal. I have been to a lot of restaurants in my life and this is the first time we received entrees without sides. Unless it's a pasta dish it should have a vegetable and a carb.

Food was very good and restaurant was extremely clean when we went and they were busy. The restaurant looks older but you can tell they try to take care of it. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the food. With how expensive it is to eat out anymore their prices are extremely reasonable. Will definitely come again.

If you're looking for sushi, they don't replenish it very fast, at least not at lunch. But they have your typical Chinese buffet fare, and the service is always good. They also have a bar and takeout. There's always a steady stream of customers, as well.

Great Chinese food for the area. I don't do buffets, but this one I make exceptions. The food is fresh. They keep the buffet area clean and well stocked. It's not a huge buffet but ii think that helps keep the dishes they do create tastier. The kitchen isn't running its bag off to keep a huge area stocked with too many options. Nice sized desert area too!

"As stated in other reviews, I don't like buffets, but I am a good sport. Not my choice, but it was the choice of an elderly family member who really wanted to take hubs and me here. I think this location was formerly a Wendy's/ Arby's/whatever. We arrived exactly at lunch time and it was packed with students from the university and lots of locals. The buffet area is rather small, but one can load their plate with a variety of Asian-American food items. The buffet was replenished frequently and attended by staff to avoid a mess. The counter person was very busy but still courteous and helpful with my relative. It was difficult to navigate through the crowd, but it that may have been due to the time of day. I think waiting until a little after prime lunch time would be less crowded, but maybe the food wouldn't be as fresh. As for the food, it was fine considering that I been to a lot worse. I took small portions to try a variety. I liked the sesame chicken, spicy beef and peppers, but the vegetable LO mein lacked something. Egg rolls and pot stickers were very good. There was a nice variety of choices for dessert. All and all, I think it was better than other similar buffets I have come across."
"Good buffet, lots of options and $12.80 for dinner. Plenty of chicken, shrimp and beef.Chow mein was delicious."
"Just a small place, we found It to be perfectly delightful. The staff were welcoming. The buffet was clean and well maintained. All tedious was hot and delicious. I especially enjoyed the salt and pepper shrimp, pot stickers ad won ton soup."
"Excellent! I Love This China Buffet! Staff are Extremely Friendly! Food is Delicious! I really like their Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon! Will Always Come Back!"
"I went on Thanksgiving Day '24 when very few, if any, other places around there were open. I called in advance to learn they were doing breakfast first then at about 11:00am dinner would begin until 4:00pm. As it turned out, there were many many others there at about 1:30pm; actually more than I imagined, so we got in line; had to be at least 100 people ahead of us. But it moved fairly quick & we got to the cash registers in about 20 minutes & waited about another 10 mins for a table to open.To their credit, they must have had all-hands-on-deck. The cashier quickly checked us out & a hostess sat us when a clean table become open when we made it to the front of the line. A waitress appeared soon after for our beverage orders. Given how many folks were there, I wasn't expecting miracles for the food, but it was generally fine. The turkey was not carved to order, but pre-cut in the kitchen and placed in a steam table. Given the crowd, that made the most sense. There were also the regular side dishes like stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce etc. There were also some other cooked vegetables and other main courses besides turkey. They even had out the salad items, which are not typical on Thanksgiving. And there were a nice selection of desserts, which I appreciated as a non-pumpkin pie eater; I had some soft ice cream from the machine with strawberry topping. The whole thing was perfectly fine for the reasonable price of about $40 for two & the service was as good as could have been expected, given the crowd."
"Pros: Food is very good and for the most part restocked quickly. The servers, when you can find them, are very friendly. The location is very easy to find. Not a bad price at $15 per person for as much selection as they have.Cons: The server will not refill your glass unless you get something other than water. But the biggest con is the bathroom-it was DISGUSTING and I do not say that lightly. Floor is slick and everywhere else is sticky in there. It felt like someone dipped their hands in sauce and spread it all over the stalls and toilets, plus the smell is abysmal. So go and eat, but DO NOT use the restroom there. Find a gas station nearby instead."
"I understand the negative reviews from past years. BUT .. WOW ! It's not an upscale buffet, but the place deserves 5 stars from me. I enjoyed the lunch and definitely will return. I found the place clean, warm and very comfortable place to sit for a nice hot/warm meal already made, serve yourself. I love the wood decor I think it works really well. It is a small place but just enough. The sushi was very good crab meat !! The fried rice was fresh and tasty. I like the chicken and broccoli sauce. I thought the Hersey Ice Cream cups as dessert other than a soft cone machine was a great idea !! The new price didn't bother me in the least 10.99 for lunch was a reasonable price and I felt it was with every penny. I like the Italian fish on a Chinese Buffet was GREAT !! hehe Highly recommended!! If your near Trader Joe's and want a good hot meal go to China Buffet!! I will return !!!"
"Alot of good choices! Seems to be one of the better Chinese places. Nice desserts too."
"Good bar food, tough location.Pros: most people know Carson's for their buffet, but they also have a bar and their food menu is not too shabby. They offer the standard burgers, sandwiches, and fries and do a good job in deliver enjoyable gigantic portions! Their Codzilla fish sandwich was pretty much 2 fish sandwiches. Staff were very nice, and the place was very clean.Cons: parking is a little tricky, as in 'find a spot to park in a nearby abandoned lot down the street', and very poor signage keeps you guessing as to which door to use to enter the establishment.Summary: I greatly underestimated just how good my meal would be."
