"How many times have you been on the go and all you want to eat is a breakfast sammy? Well us GF folk had ZERO options for a drive thru in the burgh that offers one until now. The fun seasonal coffees are tricked out with all the goodies too. They have an app to order ahead and loyalty club too. They also offer Vegan Egg & Cheese options!Pumpkin Spice Latte with Oat Milk Sausage, Egg & Cheese on Gluten Free Bread(Not pictured) Bacon, Plant Based Egg & Cheese on a bagel for my passenger"
"3.5 stars. Tapville Social has locations across the U.S., and this one is locally owned and operated. The restaurant and bar serves foods, beers, wines, and other beverages. My husband and I ate brunch at this location in Wexford one time, and we had an overall "OK" experience. Please see my attached photos for the menus in August 2024. I had made a reservation through OpenTable, but we did not need it because many tables were available. An employee held a door open for us and courteously greeted us. Another employee was our waitress, and she provided timely and friendly service. They had given us a "Pour Pass" that we could use with our table-top tablet/kiosk to order, but instead the waitress took our order for beverages and foods. Here are my ratings for our foods and beverages:Mimosa flight - 4 stars - I received four flavors: classic, rose (my favorite because it was very sweet), mango, and blueberry. Lemon-ricotta pancakes - 4 stars - Five pancakes were topped with some syrup, cream, and blueberries. I would recommend adding more syrup, but I did enjoy the flavors.Bacon - 4.5 stars - These few slices of bacon were crispy.Fruit - 4 stars - The blueberries, strawberries, and orange slices were fresh. Loaded nacho tower - 2 stars - My husband ate these nachos. He described them as "cheap" and "suck." Please note that he requested no tomatoes. He would have preferred that more cheese be added and that the nachos be served warm rather than cold. I took a few bites, and I thought that they were OK. We did not use the self-pour taps, but dozens of beers, ciders, wines, etcetera were available."

"Upstreet Diner is a delightful culinary gem in Pittsburgh, nestled in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood, around the corner from both my son and daughter. We all met here for our final breakfast after a week's visit and it was a treat with outstanding food and staff. They offer a unique and inviting atmosphere, a fusion of American and Turkish cuisine, and an array of mouthwatering dishes. Since its opening in 2021, this cozy establishment has quickly become a local favorite, attracting patrons with its great breakfast, brunch, and lunch options.Upstreet Diner was founded by chef and owner Emre Ozen, whos goal was to create a welcoming eatery that combined his passion for food with his love for the Pittsburgh community. After obtaining degrees in hotel management and culinary arts, Ozen brought his extensive experience to the Steel City, ultimately choosing Squirrel Hill as the perfect location for his first restaurant venture, and he nailed it. Upon entering Upstreet Diner, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that reflects the restaurant's friendly, neighborhood vibe. The space has cozy seating arrangements, natural light streaming in through large windows, and tasteful decor. Indeed their menu is a testament to Chef Ozen's diverse culinary background, offering a delightful fusion of American and Turkish flavors serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch seven days a week. While every dish we had was a delight, some standout items, according to others, have become fast favorites:* Deluxe-shuka: Two eggs, cevapi, and potato in house-made tomato sauce, topped with sheep feta, green onions, and harissa, served with a side of toast.* Avocado Toast: A flavorful combination of avocado, pickled red onions, and feta cheese atop toasted sourdough bread.* Salmon Omelette: A delicate and satisfying omelette filled with smoked salmon, spinach, and cream cheese, served with a side salad. On our visit my daughter really enjoyed the Ben-eddict-ive with eight layers of thin dough cheese pastry topped with mortadella overeasy egg, and hollandaise aioli, side of Israeli salad. My son-in-law thought the Deluxe-shuka with two eggs, cevapi, and potato in house-madetomato sauce, topped with sheep feta, green onions, and harissa side of toast. My honey very much enjoyed the Spanish feta omelette with baby spinach, sun-dried tomato, and sheep feta omelet, topped with horseradish & chive cheddar cheese, she remarked on how light and fresh it was. My son and I had the simple Scramble which is scrambled eggs, green onion, side of Sujuk which is a mildly spicy breakfast sausage that's%100 beef, and amazing, with homefries and toast. It was tasty and fresh but the was the star! Bottom line: This place is very trendy, clean, and comfortable with a very attentive and delightful staff that serve up some 5 star fresh food at a reasonable price that is a great spot in Squirrel Hill. Highly recommend!!!! Upstreet Diner is open seven days a week: Monday - Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMVisit their website at www.upstreetdiner.com for more information, or connect with them on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/upstreetdiner."
"Welcome to the neighborhood. It's my belief there can never be too many coffee/ tea spots to turn to. Love the variety each place offers. Wunderbar offers a wide menu of food and drinks. Great environment for individual or group gatherings."
"Rocky's is the kind of place my family loves, and I look at them like they are crazy. Extremely greasy, divey joints are not my thing. At all. But they dragged me here one Saturday morning, and Rocky's is what it is. No frills divey breakfast.Exceptionally greasy food makes me ill, and Rocky's succeeded at doing that. I don't eat potatoes, and every breakfast meal option came with potatoes. There is no variety, the menu has 10 things tops. To top that off, they were out of a lot of things. But you know what? Where else can you go for breakfast and eat for around $5 per person including a drink? No bathrooms. They must be grandfathered in, or they are just running a super illegal business. Either way, when you are feeling violently ill after eating a meal here or just need to pee from drinking coffee, you'll be miserable, if you are like me.Why three stars? Because my dad is watching me type this and told me that I couldn't give them two. So for my dad and the cheap prices, three stars. Bring your family members ages 50+ here. They'll appreciate it."
"We just had an amazing lunch at KellyO's. We had the Pittsburgh Eggs Benedict some corn beef hash and the hot Roast Beef Sandwich. Everything was amazing as well as our server Alisha. She was so happy kind and wonderful! We love this place and definitely will return and recommend it to others."
"The place is really small but the breakfast is really good the ultimate extreme omelette is awesome and two people can get full on it and the pancakes are very good and huge I have yet to be disappointed it is regular diner food not gourmet but I highly recommend it"
"This place is great! It's smaller and always busy so be prepared to wait. Also quick tip: They only accept cash. They do have an ATM there that you can use. We were seated right away, our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Buffalo chicken frittata with hash browns. The serving was HUGE! It tasted really good. The hot sauce wasn't overpowering and the chicken was perfect.I'm not a big fan of eggs but this really hit the spot. My boyfriend ordered the big beach and ate the entire thing. Sometimes I don't know how he does it! He did manage to get a few words out in between bites about how delicious it was. We both really enjoyed our meals here. The breakfast is spectacular! Hope to try out the lunch menu soon."
"Their chocolate is locally famous and in my opinion, delicious. As for the restaurant portion: What you you see is what you get. Very dated but cozy. If you want food you can cook at home served with a smiling face, this place is for you. I've had a burger here (a bit dry and over cooked) and chicken tenders (enjoyed them, nice crust to meat ratio). This place is old-school in appearance and service. It's a place I will most likely continue to eat."
"Very friendly staff and the food is excellent. They also have a range of home cooked meals."
"This new cafe is clean and comfortable...The breakfast sandwiches we had were delicious...And Katie is friendly and efficient...Definitely give Zero a try!"
"Was going to stop at McDonald's but I'm sooo glad I didn't. The burger I got was outstanding."

I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago now with my wife and twins for our morning coffee. Every Sunday we try to hit up a new local coffee shop and on this Sunday we decided to go to the chillin drive thru. This coffee shop is located at the original North Park Lounge restaurant. As its name suggests, it is only a drive thru. There is a small shack that you order from before pulling up beside the restaurant to get your coffee. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with the cinnamon roll latte while my wife went with the white pumpkin latte. It probably took between 5-7 minutes from pulling into the drive thru to having our coffees in hand, so it was quick. It looked fantastic and they definitely have some good artistry going for them. As for the coffee itself, well, I can't say that I could really taste much of it. That's not to say that the drink itself wasn't good as I enjoyed the cinnamon flavor, the whipped cream and Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the top. I just would have been hard pressed to tell you that it was a coffee based drink. To each their own though as I know plenty of people that enjoy this specific type of drink. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While it's not a place I would go if I wanted to taste the coffee in a drink, they do have some fun creations and their drinks do taste good.

We went for Sunday brunch and we're seated quickly with polite service. The beer selection was great, a bit pricey for what you're getting. However, the delivery system was unique and we wanted to try it. The food was terrible. The brussel sprouts we're supposed to be roasted, they seem more like dehydrated. I wasn't sure if I was eating a potato chip , or a piece of paper. Would have been better if they called it, roasted, dehydrated, dryed brussel sprout flakes. My wife had the omelette...it was overcooked, dry and lacking flavor. I ordered the Mexican street corn hash with sausage. Again, dry, overcooked and tasted as though everything had been pre-cooked last night, thrown back on the grill, sat under the heat lamp for a while and finally brought out to me. My overeasy egg was well done, dry and rubbery. I sent it back in favor of the tacos. They were a tad better, looked good, but the meat was dry, tough and chewy. The table next to us had a family with a kid playing his iPad loudly...ding ding.ding, wacka, wacka. Really? Some good beers, some awful food and I'm $80 poorer. At least we had a nice conversation at the table This is harsh, I know. I'm tired of sub par food and hefty prices.

Had a nice family lunch here the other day. My 3-year old enjoyed a halloumi sandwich (part of the Cyprus plate) in one of her first restaurant meals. Service was pretty quick which also helped her not become too impatient.I got the salmon omelette which was huge (with salmon on it but not in it; interesting take). The side potatoes are very crispy and delicious. They pay a nice homage to Pamela's which used to occupy this space.

So glad this location just opened! We previously visited the original location in Harmony, PA. Stopped in for some coffee. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino and my husband got a caramel brûlée latte with almond milk. Both were very tasty and hot! Cute modern atmosphere. Black & white decor. Very friendly service. Will be back to eat soon!

Cash onlyYou'd never find this place if you weren't looking for it - a tiny little diner near the hospital. Their hours are somewhat erratic, I believe they're closed Fridays and only open until 1 on Saturday. Upon entering you're greeted with a prominent view of the kitchen(One guy cooking on what appears to be a standard stove), a breakfast bar that seats about 15, and about 10 tables that could seat 2-4. We sat ourselves at one of the few open tables, the people inside were a few senior couples, one lone older man at the counter, and a young couple. Just about everyone seemed to be a regular and know each other by name. Their menu lists breakfast and lunch, with most of their 'a la carte' breakfast items being a few bucks each, and their breakfast plates being about $5. I got an egg sandwich with homefries and coffee for $5, my girlfriend got 2 eggs with toast, homefries, and juice for $6. My girlfriend asked if instead of meat she could get cheese and the eggs scrambled. When the waitress took the order back the guy behind the counter started at the slip in a "what the hell?" kind of way but didn't complain. Our food arrived in less than 5 minutes, a large plate which had a sizable amount of food on it considering the price, and very few frills. Our coffee was kept full and our order was correct, no items having been forgotten. None of the food was notably good, but it was all tasty and had a "homecooked"("rustic"?) feel to it. Also, bonus points that the eggs and homefries we were served were not dripping in industrial butter-like oil.A point worth noting is that while our waitress was very nice to us, it appears they are happy to tell it to you like it is, telling and older man who seemed to be a regular after quite a bit of chit-chat that if he couldn't finish his meal by 1pm then he ought to not bother ordering. For $11 and a tip we got a 2 decently sized breakfasts, juice, coffee, and extremely quick service. $6 is about as expensive as anything in there is, so I'm sure we'll be in here on many weekend mornings in the future.

Emily was our server and was fantastic. She seemed to be at the table the moment we sat down and took our order right away. The food came very quickly and we were in and out of Kelly's in about 30-35 mins. The highlights for me was the kielbasa and hot sausage patty. Both were moist, but not greasy. The eggs and the pancakes were standard, but also not something that I had to keep going back for bites. My husband said his omelet was a little dry. I didn't try it so I can't give him opinion on it. The bread itself was good, but quite dry even though there was some butter on it.All in all, a great place to grab breakfast.

This little diner has very good food. Their portions are HUGE so be prepared to take some home. Every menu item I had tasted great. If you have ever seen the movie Uncle Buck, that is about the size of their pancakes so only order one, no joke. They make fish sandwiches on friday that are about 12" in diameter. They are an excellent flakey hand dipped white fish that are the best I've tasted. Enough to feed 2 people and well worth the money. The wait staff is very friendly and if they will gladly explain their portion sizes on what you want to order. The only downfall I find here is their coffee. It has an odd taste to me which I blame on the city water.

Beach House is one of our go to breakfast spots. Positives: Excellent food, good prices, Great service, extensive menu selections. Negative: Always crowded. Good for them, not so much for us. My advise, go early on weekends.

"The double shot mocha latte is most excellent. Great place. Friendly staff. Can't wait to try the food next"
"I really wanted to like this place but...they stop serving breakfast early at 10:30. We got there just minutes after so had to order from the lunch menu. I got a bacon egg sandwich just on white bread and husband had a BLT. Both sandwiches were just average and too pricey. Don't think we'll be going back."
"This is one of my go to breakfast place in Pittsburgh. It's a classic diner vibe and you can't go wrong with almost anything on the menu. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. I often get the raisin French toast which is amazing! I'm not sure why more people don't make raisin bread into French toast... it's so good! Also I had a side of bacon which was cooked well and you get like 3-4 large bacon pieces with the side which is nice."
"The Runner Stone Mill House Restaurant & Bar Coraopolis PA Wed 2/16/22©Arrived to Pittsburgh late in the evening and headed to my hotel Marriott Bonvoy, 10 minutes Uber ride from the Pittsburgh Airport, dreaming of food at the Runner Stone Mill House, I researched on the plane. Glad to learn they serve full restaurant menu at the bar till Midnight, what would we do otherwise? Met up with my associates at the lounge and had a meal at the hotel restaurant & bar. Eat, drink, and call it a day!Runner Stone Mill House Restaurant & Bar serves American fare. Chick atmosphere at the bar. I imagine dining by the large windows during daytime is very nice. Elegant ambience and convenient setting, fully approved by yours truly! My late night dinner had to be the ribs! Absolutely excellent, scrumptious plate that I have had, truly surprised me, or perhaps I was too hungry? It comes with a side of coleslaw, delicious. All food consumed pretty fast behind the conversation, as we had to put our heads together in preparation for the morning business meetings.Cocktails, wines, and local brews are available at the Mill House bar. I had old fashioned and tomato juice with my ribs. Diverse menu with seasonal ingredients will serve you well.Other food ordered were fish tacos, served with a side of house salad or Caesar salad, my colleagues immensely enjoyed. Dinner Caesar salad with grilled salmon, also fresh and a perfect meal!Runner Stone Mill House seems quite popular, there were several more groups like ours, all well distanced, immersed into their business.I've learned that breakfast is served from 6am to 10am every day. The bar is open from 5pm to 12am Sunday through Thursday & from 4pm to midnight on Fridays & Saturdays. All in all, great food and great service, very clean and comfortable atmosphere. "Ordered on 6/2/2024Ate List:- Napoleon Omlette, Score: 7.2- Side Salad, Score: 6.5- Sourdough Toast, Score: 6Love this location in Regent Square and staff was extremely kind. Service was VERY quick. The omlette was very light. It didn't have much to it though. I'm a western omlette fan and the closest was this and it only had ham and cheese in it. Everything was cooked well but I just didn't lobe there being basically a slice of ham folded in the omlette. The Salad was good. Very plain relatively. Had a delicious dressing. But my friend got the potatoes instead as a side and I immediately regretted my decision - get those.Sourdough Toast wasn't too toasted. Was warm, not hot. Toasted but not crispy.Would recommend this spot though and would go again."
"Stopped in to this cute little coffee house for a latte 30 mins before close on a Saturday afternoon. The barista was extremely social, chatting with me the entire time he made my drink. I went with one of the seasonal specials, the co-co latte. I subbed almond milk instead of regular milk and ordered a size medium. The latte was amazing, but it cost almost $8 after tip There is a variety of seating available inside and the space is bright and inviting. I think it's a good choice for coffee in the area."
"Good Food + friendly service. A favorite place to eat. Breakfast, lunch or anytime . Good basic Bar. Nothing fancy. PLUS Sports "
"My sister and I accidentally stumbled across this restaurant today while looking for a place to eat lunch on a short road trip.We ended up with the pot roast sandwiches, and our absolutely wonderful waitress Karen, suggested we put a little thousand island dressing on them.I am so glad we decided on this because it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Tender and tasty roast beef with grilled onions and mushrooms between light toasted sourdough. All the menu items looked good, prices were fair, and the place was clean, not to mention excellent service.I just found out there is another location not very far from us, and rest assured we will be going there often!"
"Stopped for directions ended up staying for lunch. Fantastic! Great service and conversation made my day. Try the Italian with everything"
"First time and definitely coming back.We had:*menemen with spicy sausage and cheese* sunny side up eggs with meat and potatoes *ayran yogurt drink*sultan style turkish coffee everything was delicious and freshstaff was knowledgeable and nice!"

"This pop up at Allegheny River park is just lovely with plenty of seating, great views, friendly service, and an overall fantastic experience. We had Marc's Fancy Popcorn which had a raspberry and white chocolate drizzle Footprints farm confit duck and kimchi pizza which was absolutely delicious. The park was beautiful with plenty of parking and seating by the water. @tracebrewing will be there every Friday until about mid-November with beer as a pop up."

"Decided to take my Pop's out for a a late breakfast and came upon this little gem-quaint restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. The food took a bit to come out but it was worth the wait! The biscuits and gravy simply melted in your mouth and had great flavor, our waitress was very attentive and overall great experience!"
"New name and owner in the Ole Allegheny sandwich shop. Not much has changed but the name and a few items on the menu. Waitress was very friendly. Some real good sandwiches and daily specials. Had the meatloaf special. Very good. Great place from breakfast or lunch."
"Had an early dinner here recently. My Dad got the seafood special & he said it was fresher & tastier than the Joe's Crab Shack he had the day before. The waitress was very friendly & said she would pass along my Dad's compliments to the chef. I got a bacon cheeseburger & it was on the small side, which is perfect for me. My Mom got a side with her burger, so if you're super hungry I'd go with a double burger. I can't wait to go back to try the seafood! It's little diners like this that I hope make it through COVID-19."
"Excellent service and staff. That's why I did 5 stars. Steak & Eggs was good. Corned beef has was really really salty. Tasted like it was canned product. Based on my experience. Great atmosphere. Reasonable pricing."
"We had a fantastic experience here. We had a mixed party of kids and adults. They were accommodating to all. The bar drinks were very well made, each catered to our liking. The meals were prepared beautifully and carefully. Everything was delicious. The bruschetta was the favorite appetizer. The shrimp were huge! And the egg rolls were very good as well. The surf and turf was wonderfully displayed and delicious. The crab cake stole the show! The sea bass was great as well as the smoked filets. The salmon also got a raving review. The chef came to check on our party and told us about some of the items we had eaten. So friendly and passionate about his menu. Great addition to the Valley! I hope they keep it up! Highly recommend! We will return!"
"If you love American diners, this is the place for you! Not much to look at but aren't you there to eat?! George has been in business at this location for 46 years. When we were there, a multigenerational family left the dinner stopping to say goodbye to George and he knew all of the from the oldest to the youngest! They do accept credit cards but the tips are to be in cash. The coffee, which is a staple in the American diner, is delicious and has no bottom! We did breakfast on our visit. I got the bacon and cheese omelet with Italian bread toast that was ENORMOUS. My husband got The George breakfast with three eggs your way, rye toast, ham, and a pancake. Everything was delicious! Lynn was our very attentive waitress where we waited for nothing. She was on top of it. The kitchen was very expedient. Beautiful thing is, they serve breakfast all day (usually open only until 3pm)!Before we left, George brought us a special surprise as it was our first visit. I'm not going to give it away but, if you go, definitely get dessert!"
"People were nice! Pancakes were amazing! Prices were good! Cute little diner! I had the eggs Benny and the hollandaise was basically yellow salty water which was weird to say the least. Everything else was delicious but I definitely would not order that again. We will be back!"
