I enjoy that that staff aren't hovering and don't bother you unless you need to be bothered. The cosmic Bowling was awesome. I enjoyed the music and there's food and drinks. I'm not great at bowling but do enjoy this family bowling place for all ages. They also have a lounge attached where you can enjoy drinks as the bar or you can take a pitcher to your lane."

Food: pizza is like cardboard, but they have the local specialty of pepperoni rolls which are surprisingly good considering it's a bowling alley. Beer: Yuengling on draft at a $1/cup -- soda was $1.30 tough call! How do they make money at these prices?"

Kathy D. "This place is really hard to find! It's right next to the Big Lots but you actually have to drive between the building right into this shady alley labeled "BOWL." Once in there, the entrance is super underwhelming and unassuming. But hey, at least there's a parking lot. I took my fam to take advantage of their Saturday night specials and it's a pretty good deal. $4/person for shoes and 1 game. We ended up doing 2 games for 4 peeps so it was only $32 total. Not bad! I only wish they had a website and posted information like that online! No cosmic bowling but the prices were worth it. Relatively clean setup but the bathroom could use a bit of sprucing up. The balls only come in 8, 10, 14 lbs. I'm tiny and used to 5 or 7lb so they should probably get a few lower denominations sometime. How are the kids playing anyways? They must be pretty darn strong."

Julie Anna E. "Best bowling alley in Pittsburgh! I go bowling almost every week- sometimes multiple times per week and Arsenal is my favorite! It does get super busy though. You have to get there before 8:45 most week nights to make sure you get a lane. Open bowling starts at 9pmIt's $10 on week days and $20 on weekends for a few hours of bowling. A good deal! They have 22 lanes so it's big. They have a bar with mostly beers and some simple mixed drinks. They have great bar food/apps as well! My favorite is their fried pickles. We get them almost every time we go! The best!"

Clint W. "Suburban Lanes may not look like much, tucked away in a little shopping complex adjacent to a sports bar and surrounded by recalcitrant smokers in trucker hats. But look past the surface; don't judge a book by its cover. With the right information and the right planning, you can have a fun and reasonable time at this bowling alley. On the other hand, it can also be expensive and crowded if you don't know when to go. Follow the tips below to have a fun night out. After 6pm on weeknights, the prices go up a little bit and the lanes become crowded with league participation. Call ahead or see if you can reserve a lane for their competitive special pricing. Their deals change but take one of their current specials, for example: the Monday Bowling Blockbuster. From 9pm-12am, pay $30/lane for up to 6 people (shoe rental included). That means if you go with 3 people, you can bowl for up to 3 hours for only $10/person. That's pretty great.Guaranteed frustration will come if you don't plan ahead, however. Cosmic bowling on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons can mean increased prices and a ridiculous demographic of 6-9 year-olds. Still, if you feel like being a kid again, nothing's quite as fun as laser lights and glow-in-the-dark bowling balls. Added incentives to bowling include Kegler's, connected to the alley, which will serve you bar food and drinks. Also, they have enormous drop-down screens that cover the rear wall of the alley - and usually they have simulcasting of sports and teen pop music videos. I always try to get a lane with ESPN at the end of it."

Clean facility but our lane, 13, was very dysfunctional in that there was a malfunction with the headpin. They comped our first of four games, but it did not resolve the bowling experience problem. Some of the staff was helpful, some seemed aggravated when being asked to deal with this recurrent issue."

It's a more intimate feeling; but I prefer the seating and everything about Main Bowling better than Hillview, which is just across town.My friends and I love $1 Night on Mondays. We regularly frequent the bowling alley during summer months to bowl three games. Even after purchasing a drink and/or snack, renting shoes and bowling three games, we've each only spent $7-$8.I find the snack bar and drink selection to be quite impressive for a bowling alley. You can get nachos, pizza, or other standard bar-like snacks. Biggest drawback to the place is the size. It can be tough to get a lane at times."

It has four brand new lanes, or at least they look brand new, and this place is run by a woman named Marie. She is so friendly and so helpful. Because it was the holidays, we didn't have to pay for anything on the jukebox. Very sweet of her! We took over the lanes and bowled three games. Each couple brought something to snack on so we had a wide variety of Christmas cookies, soft pretzels, cheese and crackers, spinach dip, deviled eggs, and other types of treats. Marie serves drinks and alcohol if you so choose. This was a blast of a place in a friendly environment with lots of friendly people. The bathrooms were clean as a whistle as well as the kitchen area. Maria does have food to sell, but she allowed us to bring our own. Super great place, definitely enjoy yourself!"

Morgan B. "Stopped at 6:30 on a Friday evening. The place was busy and we were told and hr wait for bowling. There were 4 adults and 4 kids. We opted for 2 lanes for an hour the cost was $130. 2 adults and 4 kids went to the arcade to wait our bowling turn and the other 2 adults went to the bar. There was 1 bartender I think Alyssa may have been her name. She was busting her butt even when other staff would just come and make matters worse by taking stuff from the bar or dropping off cups to wash. When clearly she was swamped with little to no help and was still doing an amazing job. At the bar we ordered vodka and Cranberry a club sandwich with onion rings and a cheese Quesadilla. The food came out pretty quickly and was ok. What you would expect from a place like that not terrible but not the best. We finally got to our bowling lanes. Everything is set up nice and everything seemed clean. The kids had a blast. Service at the bowling area is terrible. The kids ordered food and it wasn't until we had 10 min left in bowling it came out. I also ordered a Cranberry vodka. After 30 min a friend went to see where it was. When the young girl finally brought it, she said her manager told her she couldn't bring me any more and was shutting me off. I think next time if a manager wants to shut someone off they need to do it themselves and not make they young waitress do it Especially since it was the 1st drink in bowling that was ordered and it seemed to only happen because it took 30 minutes for 1 drink and we were asking about it and the food. It was very strange. There were lots of staff but they would disappear often. All and all we had a nice time but it's not worth the cost and wait times especially since at the end of it all it cost over $300 between games, bowling and food. Next time we will just go to main bowl."

If you want to get a size shoe that actually fits your feet, I would suggest you getting there early because they get picked over real quick. The lanes were very clean and I was pleased to see that they had new bowling shoes! Their prices are very reasonable compared to other bowling alleys, which I always appreciate. Everything was set up nicely and we had a great time at the facility! The reason I am giving this place 3 stores is simply because of customer service. First of all, the little attached bar was unattended, so we were directed to go to the main bar to get drinks. It's a little inconvenient when you're bowling because then you have to wait on whomever left to get the drinks. The most disappointing thing was how the older man treated us! He seemed like he had a larger role than just an employee- not sure if he was a manager. At 12:30 on the dot he turned the light back on and shut our lane down in the middle of the game. I went to ask him if he could give us access to our lane and he looked back at the clock and said, "Your time is up." I responded that it says they are open until 1, in which he said, "Oh, did you see that online?" When I told him that yes, I saw it online he acted as if he was doing me a favor and told me that he "guesses" we can bowl until 1 then. MEANWHILE, there was a large group of people a few lanes down that were not being subjected to this behavior from this man! He didn't touch their lane! Soooo unprofessional... if the customer service improved it would definitely be a 4-5 star facility."

None are available surrounding Memphis & struck out never thinking upon duckpin until living here. One night when experiencing boredom with nothing happening & recalling duckpin's presence. My google search led me here & decided to leave & experience an old childhood joy not experienced since 2015. Upon entry & taking notice of their nostalgic decor. It made me reminisce spending time Saturday mornings & bowling with Walco's youth league for 6 years (87-93). Number of lanes here are reasonable but I would find quieter times myself for a bowling session. Becoming spoiled by modern technology offered by newer or upgraded lanes. Old school pencil & bowling sheets put me off a second until becoming reacquainted with manual scoring again. According to my observations, employees keep lanes maintained to adequate standards including superb waxed lanes & unwarped wood. In comparison to other lanes their in house balls have minimal chipping, maintaining smoothness & fine gloss without moisturizing dry balls with wet rags everytime. Customer service impressed me with their kindness assisting me with beginning my bowling experience, receiving my shoes & assigning me a lane fast. Beyond their counter service pride in maintaining cleanliness inside the building & bowlers seating areas impress me anticipating future visits & pleasurable relaxing bowling experiences. Glassport Lanes is cash only & an ATM is available across the street at Carol's Cafe. I came here with friends last month for a late night out, and we had a blast. Alpine Bowling Lanes offers plenty of deals to take advantage of, including Dollar Nights and Cosmic Bowling on weekends (i.e. play as much as you want/can during a set amount of time). My group took advantage of the cosmic bowling deals, and as a result played a couple rounds together. This place turns down the overhead lights down for cosmic bowling, by the way, which was a nice touch during our late night game. You can also purchase food and check out a game room while you're here, although I can't comment on either as I only took advantage of bowling during my visit. That said, as I mentioned earlier, Alpine Club Lanes is an older bowling alley. Its age admittedly shows in certain areas; the collection of bowling balls lacks variety, for example, to the point that I struggled to find one that I could a) comfortably get my fingers into, and b) grip in a comfortable fashion. Some of the graphics in the building are dated as well, and I mean that literally; you can see the dates that the animation screens were made listed on a number of them.Overall though I'd rate the Alpine Club Lanes "a-ok". A little TLC and an update in equipment to make it easier to find the perfect ball for your game wouldn't hurt, but I had fun with my friends during my visit and I would absolutely return in the future."

They have awesome shoes with flaming balls on them, and some rocking neon colored ones that glowed in the cyber lights. (i had the neon ones!). Bowling was $4.50 per person per game. Seemed pretty reasonable for a Saturday night entertainment. My only complaint is that the place was pretty empty but they put everyone in lanes really close together instead of spreading us out, so we had to wait each time we went up to bowl for the people next to us to finish. Other than that, it was a great time.I should also mention that the bar is awesome. Each time we came here we bowled. The first time was for my gyms Christmas party a few years back. They have a semi-private room that has about 8 lanes or so, some tables and a place to set up a buffet. The gym picked some of your typical basics, pizza and chicken fingers is all I can really remember. Very average to below average food but it was free, well to me at least. The bar area, located in the middle of the place was chaotic. This held true at every stop from here forward.Second visit, summer of 2020. Oh 2020, how I look back and still dislike our time together. Height of COVID. Yes the staff and ppl wore masks but if I recall you could take it off in your bowling section. The bar during this time just as chaotic and disorganized as the first time but with way less ppl. We bowled this time and had fun with the kids, we did not eat. This past time we came here to meet up with my in-laws. There were five adults and five kids and you could not reserve a lane. So we waited, and waited. It was about a three hour wait to bowl. If it was up to me I would have left. While we waited we sat in the bar area at a table and had some drinks. They were overpriced (which is expected) and again chaotic. I think all the people that work here hate it and they were probably understaffed. There were so many patrons in there it seemed like a fire hazard. Finally we got to bowl and it was $100.00 for two lanes for an hour. We got in a game and a half and that was it.Overall if you want to bowl you can, you just might have to wait a while VS other places where you can't bowl at all on a Saturday because of leagues and that BS. There is an arcade, laser tag, and a bar to have drinks to help you forget why you gave up a Saturday to bowl one game."
