"The last visit to Fatheads was in 2003. A stumbling lad who stumbled into this eatery with a silly notion to be quenched. Is it true them damn samwiches is as fat as my head. To my utter joy the cholesterol raced through my veins lubricating all sorts of divine enchantments to the wonders that be still a beating heart. I was alive then and daggonit that Fat Italian sandwich delivered delight. Many moons had passed and in 2025 I found myself in Pittsburgh, PA a stones throw from a mountain of memories. I convinced my wife to let us go and off we went. I entered the establishment that I had been craving for two decades and found myself transported back in time to that season of decadence and delightful abandonment. The sights, the smells, the food oh the fragrance of long forgotten days that began at 7am and ended at 3am. Rested after a night sleep i ordered the Fat Italian once again. My souls thirst had been quenched my deliverer of flavors. The meat so thick, so poignant, so unmistakable Pittsburgh with its bold outpouring of a simple idea. Work hard play hard live for eternity the yokes removed from my tastebuds. The hard boiled eggs perfectly light and fluffy with texture. The rosemary mayo an ode to herbology. Maybe I was a small town girl on a Saturday night dancing like a maniac 20 years ago but here at a proper lunch hour I sat back and feasted and relived that small little portion of a time travelers fable where I touched that time long since forgotten and enjoyed this treat as time stood still. Fates abatement struggles to endure but I am nothing short of satisfied that like the very blessed union of our souls this establishment endures!I did get too excited to eat it that I forgot to snap a pic. Dream on dr"
"We were exploring the strip district and stumbled upon this location. Let me begin by saying it is incredibly large, and there are plenty of spots for people to hang out, enjoy some beverages, and play games. If you have a large group, this is the perfect place for you to bring them! They offer a huge selection of beers as well as seltzers and sours. They also have a pretty extensive menus so it's a great place where you can grab beer and food. My husband had the Cinderfest (they are Oktoberfest style beer). He really enjoyed it and loved that it was easy drinking. I started with a flight and was able to sample several different ones but by far my favorite became the black and yellow yinzerade. There is a parking garage that is located literally like right behind them or right beside them so it's perfect. As parking can be very tight from a street parking perspective."
"Big fan of this dive bar! Perfect place if you need quick food and a drink, and can sit at the bar. Also great to go with a group after a long bike ride on the trails! All the wraps are 10/10. Pump track wrap and rail trail are my favorite. I've had the best burgers ever here but they are not consistent. I think it depends on who is cooking because sometimes the are cooked to perfection, and other times they are dry and over done. But the toppings are always unique and good. Service is what you would expect from a dive bar, always friendly and attentive but let you be with your food and beer. Cool place."
"House of 1000 beers is AMAZING! I honestly have never had a bad experience whether having a drink and food there OR getting it to go. The pizza is ALWAYS consistently good. I order extra cheese and you can ALWAYS tell they put it on. The poutine is amazingly good too with a huge portion. Love the staff and this spot. Lucky it's so close to me!"
"This place is an absolute gem! So many beers and wines to choose from. Please note there is a bottling fee to purchase from the store and drink at the bar or table. To avoid, order from the menu and take your store purchases home. The flatbreads are phenomenal; Hello PIEROGI, I'm thinking of you. The setting is very laid back and comfortable for adults and families alike."
"Wow, check you out Grapperia! No seriously you aren't much to look at. Completely walked right by you without noticing you there. But then you must have winked at me and I found myself agreeing to walk on in.It's small a few round tables and a small bar with probably 8-10 stools. We were lucky both times we stopped in and found a spot at the bar. The bartenders here are no joke, quite the mixologists. Our first time here we ordered off their drink menu but we were in route to a local brewery. This last time it was all Grapperia.I ordered the Ryes and Shine. The bartender did an amazing job as I told him what I liked and what I didn't in recommending the drink. Perfectly balanced, no sugary sweetness here. As I was enjoying my cocktail I say him make an espresso and then mix it into a shaker. I said hey what's that?! Yanno minding my business. An espresso martini. Ok I have had espresso martinis but I think this ranked up there to oh the best ever! It was just that fresh espresso woke me up, I liked it so much I ordered two. Great stop."
"I'd Never heard of Lincoln Avenue Brewery, until I attended an event recently. From the moment I walked in, it was as if I was in an episode of "Cheers;" or what I assume the show is like I've never watched it . The point is, it was better than anything I could've assumed it would be like. Grant, Lisa, and the staff were very personable and make you feel welcome from the first step inside. I gotta be honest, I'm not a beer drinker. "So why did you go?" Why not? Experiencing new things lead to discovery. I tried the Lincoln Avenue Aye Matey area salt/lime gosey, bulldog dipa, ESB, and the mead. All solid beers, but I can't get over how delicious the sour was. I'm normally not one to like like any lemon/ lime flavored things because they usually taste artificial. However, the sour was so natural and refreshing. Definitely made me more curious about exploring sours. While the beers were noteworthy, and the chicken Caesar wrap was delicious, it is the pickle dip I keep telling everyone about. I got a mouth-watering flavor that made me feel ready to party. I took some of the dip with me and I wish I had taken more. Does anyone know if they sell a jar of this? I want to buy some to bring to share at parties!!I definitely plan to return! I'm currently trying to vet the people that can hang and will mesh well with the laid back vibe. Or maybe I'll just return on my own. Either way, stop reading this and go check this little gem out!"

Amazing local bar with friendly staff and delicious food!!!First time visiting Fat Heads Saloon and enjoyed every minute of it. It was trivia night on Tuesday at 7pm and anyone can join the game. Bartenders were friendly and had quick service even though they were very busy. The environment was very causal. They have a wide selection of beers, ciders, wine, and seltzers plus can make any cocktail. I ordered the Caramel onion & mushroom burger with French fries, the meat was cooked just how I like it medium well and the fries were cooked from scratch. They also have flights (5oz each) available for you to try different drinks. Highly recommend if your in the area to check them out! (:

What a lovely way to ring in the new year. Spending it for their Hair of the Hog event was a great choice. The ticket included a beautifully curiated menu of a WHOLE HOG BBQ, smoked meats, New Orleans BBQ shrimp , roasted veggies, twice baked potatoes, cornbread and more! My favorite was probably the campfire mushrooms -they were seriously so good. I paired Czech Them Buns, Czech 10° pale lager, 4.3% with my meal and finished with Squish Ink, Black IPA, 6.9%. All this PLUS music by @epicastnetwork This was a great event-but I always love this spot for their great beer, delicious and affordable food, and fun events. I particularly like their shuffle board and bocce downstairs and nice outdoor patio upstairs in the summer.

A couple of us always grab some fast delicious grub before heading over to Pins Mechanical for some duckpin bowling. I usually get the hard tail burger or a super scrumptious wrap but tried the Babes on Bikes burger with fries. It was super tasty and the egg was cooked perfectly over easy with big slices of avocado. Their fries are batter dipped, I think, so they come out very crisp and full of flavor. They also have great beers on tap and terrific service. This is a wonderful local place to grab a quick bite.

We have visited Vintages Estates from Pittsburgh on multiple occasions now after hearing what a craft beer haven it is. Honestly it's been a bit of a mixed bag which makes it tricky to review.First off the setup. You enter into a wine shop. Then the next room has a little seating and a small bar. Then shelf after shelf and cooler after cooler of craft beer. You truly could get lost and spend hours exploring the selection. It can be overwhelming. They have a ton of variety and some beers that are tough to find. Prices can be a bit all over the place. My biggest complaint though is the amount of way past date beers and the heavily fruited sours stating must be refrigerated that are on the shelves. I just know now I have to double check the dates on everything and have skipped buying things for sure. The next room has the main bar with seating and a handful of high top tables. This has been where we have sat every visit. I'm not sure how service is supposed to be as it's been inconsistent. One visit we have had table service. The next we had to go up to the bar to be able to order anything. Another someone said they would be right there for our order and we were left waiting a long time. The draft list is a good size and offers a good variety. They also frequently do special events and tap takeovers bringing in beers hard to find on draft locally. Unfortunately last time we went for a tap takeover we were told those couldn't be included in the flight option. They almost push you to drink more because there is a variety to try only in small or full pours. However the small pours are so much more expensive, especially when the full pours are on happy hour. They are known for their flatbreads and have a huge variety of them available ranging from much more traditional to the more creative. They also often have specials available. There are appetizers and other food available as well but we have always stuck with flatbreads. The flatbreads are pretty good but nothing special.Overall Vintage Estates is a mixed bag. They do have something for everyone as far as beer, wine, cider and mead. They have some decent food to go along with it. They just have some things they could improve. We will still make a return visit though for some event I'm sure.

Grapperia is a cozy bar in lawrenceville. I never have trouble finding seating and usually order wine from here when I'm dining at Piccolo Forno next door. Service is always great too. I decided to get Acid raindrops and Ferrari which are both very strong and bitter drinks. I am more of a sweet fruity drink person so these were not my style but that's on me. If you don't like strong drinks, I'd maybe recommend the wine or beers. But otherwise, no complaints about this place and will be going back!

I LOVE this brewery! The vibes are so much fun, the beer is cool and crisp, and the food is tasty af!! They have a nice selection of their house beers, my personal faves are their sours. They usually have a nice rotation. And THE PICKLE DIP! Insanely delicious, no notes. It's awesome having a brewery in Bellevue, and I'm glad it's this one!

this is a nice place! it's got some things i really like. - a bar that is long and deep made of wood. set up at the perfect height for eating and having a beer. - a lot of taps! like more than 20? didn't count. mainly kegs of micro-brews. along with Blue Moon and Guinness. so, good for me and Linda. - the menus at the bar are daily specials, regular food, beers, wine list, specialty drinks. all on their own page, and in a clipboard. nice!got prime rib dinners. comes with two sides. i got baked and onion soup. wife got salad and fries. i did the usual ask for hot baked potato, and assumed wife's fries would be hot, they weren't. the baked potato was under 100 degrees, fries same. i worked in a restaurant for years. this is not hard to get right. it means whoever is in charge of setups is lazy or really doesn't care. complaint? nah, same at most places. what impressed me was how well the barmaid and the floor manager took care of it. i got a warmer potato. same one nuked for 1 minute. wife got freshly made fries. they were really good. seasoned and hot. not twice cooked so not crisp, but they were good. the prime rib was carved roasted prime rib, finished to temp on a grill. i enjoyed it. it was very good. this cook was undercooking the prime rib, even though finishing it on the grill. wife ordered medium, came back med rare. i got med rare, got back rare. which is great. i love rare. and it had a very good beefy taste. and mushrooms that covered it completely. overall, kitchen just doing their job. front of house, doing a great job! seriously great service! i'll be back here. and trying other menu items. it's too nice a place to not go back for a potato. and they have a huge back patio and dining area. this place has a great environment, very friendly staff. and the other patrons were very friendly. this will be a great place to go when weather warms up so they can open the patio. oh, and the onion soup was hot as heck and delicious. that was great. I hate warm soup. overall i really did like it.

"We went to this place for lunch on a Friday. The ambiance is exactly what you expect in the area. Beautiful, spacious, with nice decor and large TVs. We were seated immediately. The service was friendly and timely. We ordered pretzels, baby back ribs, a burger, and peanut butter and chocolate pie for the dessert. Everything, including the ale drink, was great. The pretzel was warm and fresh. The burger was prepared exactly as my wife had ordered and expected. And the baby back, oh my Gosh! Hands down, the best I have ever had. The price was also reasonable. We really enjoyed our visit and will visit again."
"I just love their subs. The bread is excellent I order the cheese steak, Italian, Capitola and cheese and the fish and cheese subs."
"It's probably for the best that this Arsenal location is out of my way, because I ADORE it. Honestly, Arsenal Cider is one of my favorite local businesses. While their original Lawrenceville location has tons of historical charm (in both the building and the neighborhood), this spot has the appeal of being part of Soergel Orchards. The cider house is a perfect addition to the beautiful market and shopping spot - and not just because the cider is made from Soergel apples! This location is located in one of Soergel's "old timey" buildings - "old timey" meaning it's totally comfortable and feels modern and has air conditioning, but it's modeled after an old school log building. It's a nice balance that's perfect for Arsenal and for a Soergel cider house.Walk in and you'll immediately see the bar; to the left of the bar is a cozy communal area with several sets of tables and chairs, suitable for enjoying a drink or even a show when one is put on. The decor is Revolutionary themed, tying directly into the history behind the naming of Arsenal (which ties into the history of its Lawrenceville location). My advice, especially for first timers? Don't be afraid to ask for samples during a visit, as Arsenal's batches of brews rotate throughout the year and are worth exploring. Also don't be afraid to ask questions - in my experience the people who work at Arsenal have always been enthusiastic and eager to share their knowledge with guests. And since their ciders run the full range from sickly sweet to dry dry dry, their input may be the ticket to finding your perfect cider!Whether you just need a growler refilled during a day of shopping, or you're interested in relaxing and sharing a drink, this is a great space that is well worth your time. Here's to my next visit, Arsenal!"
"The food is always amazing! This is one of my favorite places to eat in Morgantown. I get the lettuce wrap every time. The tots are cooked to perfection. They have such a nice crunch to them. The wings are divine! We got lemon pepper dry rub and some buffalo sauce to dip. The gumbo is always a favorite. They make the best gumbo in town. It has some heat to it. Service is always great! Everyone is so kind and attentive.Ambiance is a fun sports bar. They always have tvs on and they play some good music."
"I don't know why the reviews are so low. We smelled the burgers before we even seen them. They didn't disappoint. The Rivers Sauce is delish. The burger wasn't dry. They know burgers! The fries are amazing. I also enjoy that it was past midnight and the customer service and quality was on point. I don't even gamble but I will be back for one of these burgers."
"Went here for best in the burgh tour. I tried a ban mi type of barbecue it was really good! I can't waitTo get back! They will be having barbecue version of different types of food around the world so I'm very excited to see what they have"
"I've been here a few more times and had a couple of meals, so am updating the review. The food is strictly pub fare, with wings, burgers and sandwiches. I had a chicken sandwich called the drunken bird or something like that, and a steak sandwich. The sandwiches are really good and pretty big servings. They come with either fries or chips, and I like their chips, which are homemade, not out of a bag. All sandwiches on the menu are $7.50, a good price. Overall, this is a nice neighborhood pub."
"This is bar has been a fixture in New Alexandria for a long time. It is very much for the local crowd of regulars. The outside could definitely use a remodel. It's saving grace is the opportunity to hear great blues music from area musicians on the weekend. Not many places offer blues. The drawback is that seating is minimal. The night I stopped in, it was very crowded with locals. We stood by the bar for about a half an hour. Even though, I enjoyed the music and people watching. People from all walks of life. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced. The food is said to be good, but the kitchen was closing by the time I arrived. I guess some would call Speals a dive bar. There is nothing derogatory by that. I would say it is like a honky-tonk, though honky-tonks are more country music. I liked the live music and atmosphere. 3 stars for appearance; 4 stars for live music and friendly bartenders."
