"First time here, despite seeing the sign many times in the past. Wanted to try something different and this was the choice. I didn't know what to expect. As I pulled up I was amazed at how large the place was, I was expecting a tiny place. The parking lot was packed, but I still was able to find a spot easily. My only negative in this review is the hostess stand experience. The hostess stand is really close to the door, so as soon as you open it bam there it is. There isn't really any place to wait. The hostess tonight was MIA more than she was there. I walked in to find 6 people squished by the stand. Nobody there. Then a young lady comes and takes 4 to be seated and then takes two more. So now I'm at the hostess stand and have people squeezing in behind me to be inside and close the door. Anyway I stand there for 5-10 minutes with nobody coming. I see the young lady walk towards the stand, doesn't look to me or acknowledge me in any way. She puts her head down and grabs menus and walks away to apparently grab a large party. I would have expected a greeting and perhaps "I'll be with you in a moment." Not just ignoring us. Finally she comes over and just stands there staring at us, no hello. So I start by saying two please. It was odd, no greeting at all.So we get seated, the place is packed. It took a little while for a server to come, but I can see they are busy. Server was friendly and attentive. I asked for what she would recommend and she said the fish sandwich is a favorite of many people, so fish it is. My buddy ordered a blue cheeseburger. We both added a cup of chili. Server was attentive with the drinks. We waited for maybe 15 minutes and asked if our chili would come with the sandwiches or could we get it before as is normal as a starter. She stated the kitchen is slammed but we would most definitely get it before the food. Probably two minutes later we had our chili. The chili had a good taste but was cold. We both agreed maybe it was served and sitting in the back that's why it was cold. Very quickly our sandwiches came. The fish sandwich was enormous and came with a ton of fries. I really enjoyed the fish and it was piping hot. I'm not a fan of fries but these were decent. My buddy was very pleased his burger. The bill came and we were pleased with that as well. All the food was affordable/inexpensive. We were surprised the beer was as inexpensive as it was. After paying our bill we agreed we would be back."

"Don't let the Yelp score scare you off! I visited here with a large party of 16. They had a big space in the back for groups which was nice. The servers did a great job managing the large group, got everyone's orders correctly, split the bills up without issue. The best thing I tried was the Italian egg rolls. Unique and great flavors. I ordered the eggplant parm. The sauce was surprisingly good (I'm Italian and my dad's a chef - I have excessively high standards for red sauce!) and the eggplant was cooked well. I wish there had been some ricotta and maybe topped with extra mozzarella. I think bringing some sides of bread and water pitchers would've made things even better. Everyone enjoyed their food and there were zero complaints on the service or the food quality."

Glad to learn they serve full restaurant menu at the bar till Midnight, what would we do otherwise? Met up with my associates at the lounge and had a meal at the hotel restaurant & bar. Eat, drink, and call it a day!Runner Stone Mill House Restaurant & Bar serves American fare. Chick atmosphere at the bar. I imagine dining by the large windows during daytime is very nice. Elegant ambience and convenient setting, fully approved by yours truly!My late night dinner had to be the ribs! Absolutely excellent, scrumptious plate that I have had, truly surprised me, or perhaps I was too hungry? It comes with a side of coleslaw, delicious. All food consumed pretty fast behind the conversation, as we had to put our heads together in preparation for the morning business meetings.Cocktails, wines, and local brews are available at the Mill House bar. I had old fashioned and tomato juice with my ribs. Diverse menu with seasonal ingredients will serve you well.Other food ordered were fish tacos, served with a side of house salad or Caesar salad, my colleagues immensely enjoyed. Dinner Caesar salad with grilled salmon, also fresh and a perfect meal!Runner Stone Mill House seems quite popular, there were several more groups like ours, all well distanced, immersed into their business.I've learned that breakfast is served from 6am to 10am every day. The bar is open from 5pm to 12am Sunday through Thursday & from 4pm to midnight on Fridays & Saturdays.All in all, great food and great service, very clean and comfortable atmosphere. "This is such an underrated restaurant in South Side! I've never heard of this place before and stumbled upon it in my search for restaurants in South Side. The food menu is quite big and is sure to have something for everyone. They do not take reservations but my group of 5 had no issues getting seated right away on a Friday night. I tried the ahi tuna wrap and the detox retox cocktail. Both were delicious! The wrap was way more flavorful than i expected and the sweet potato tots I got on the side with it were phenomenal. Everyone in my group loved what they got as well and we were all quite impressed with this place. Definitely will be coming back again!"

Ooey gooey cream cheese pumpkin goodness stuffed inside of perfectly cooked French Toast topped with walnuts. Heaven! Paired perfectly with coffee and I added bacon on the side. It was so filling I skipped lunch! And loved that all of the staff were in costumes for Halloween, even at 9 AM. Just a comfortable atmosphere with no frills makes this a top choice for a relaxing meal."

"We've been here in the past however they just moved into this new location so we decided to check it out with our group of about 10 after a volleyball game. Place is larger than their last spot. Service weas friendly and we were seated within minutes of getting there. We enjoyed cold beer while we perused the menu for apps and entree's. For apps, we decided on the fried cheese skewer and Bull chips. The fried cheese was delicious cubes of breaded cheese fried to a golden brown. The Bull chips are deep fried pepperoni slices served with ranch for dipping and let me tell ya, these things are addicting and simply tasty. For my entree', I decided on the Grizzly burger which is a 1/3rd pound burger topped with roasted peppers and baby portabella mushrooms smothered in cheese with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and our garlic aioli. I must say that they do burgers right here. The burger was cooked to my preference of medium and with all the toppings, it made for a excellent burger. Everyone in our group had a nice experience and enjoyed their choices for meals and appetizers. Give them a visit if ever in the area."

"The sushi is made to order, and I had heard about Asahi from my colleagues some time ago.I was driving through Washington County on the way to Columbus, Ohio, and decided to stop through. Lunch cost me about $20 plus tip, the service was prompt and the food was decent. The restaurant is clean and spacious.I recommend giving this place a try. I didn't have a chance to try the hibachi. Perhaps next time."

They have a beer especially brewed for them, cannot remember the name, but it was pretty solid. Started off with chips and salsa (both made in-house) and I was a big fan, immediately knew the grub would be good. Went for the 3-pack Tacos Campechanos and was not disappointed - great flavor, portion size for the price. They have Karaoke and live music as well - definitely dig it, next time I am in town I will be going back."

"If you're looking for a great rooftop bar, this is your place. There's a retractable roof, plenty of seating, and some fun cocktails, so it's easy to spend a whole afternoon/evening up there. That being said, it gets pretty busy so service isn't great and the wings we ordered tasted like they had been frozen and microwaved. I can't speak for the other menu items, but I'd recommend grabbing food from the restaurant on the first floor instead."

I have had other items from the lunch menu and sure those were very good, but breakfast is where they really stand out. I love the Pile up, with it's potatoes and homemade biscuits piled high with eggs and sausage gravy. But my new favorite is the stuffed banana pepper breakfast. 2 delicious and generous stuffed banana peppers bathed in a rich tomato sauce. Throw in some eggs and toast and that is a hearty breakfast that will get you going all day. Prices are really good for what you get, service is good and portions are very good, Overall a great place to start your day, Aloha"

"Last week, I was heading to a concert at Mr. Smalls and I wanted to grab some food beforehand so I looked up Millvale restaurants and found Bar 3. It had good reviews, so I figured I would give it a try! Thank you other Pittsburgh area Yelpers! I loved the atmosphere of Bar 3! It's perfect for a date night or a meal with friends. It's very spacious- a mixture of high and low tables. You seat yourself, so I sat at a low top table in the back of the restaurant. It's very clean and fresh! Since it was so hot on Friday, I didn't order a beer or cocktail- but they a great selection of local brews! To start, we ordered the pretzels. You get 4 pretzels for $9. They were very good - I definitely order them again! For my entree, I ordered the steak salad. To be honest it was kinda of small to be paying $13 for the size of the salad. The steak was cooked just right and the salad was delicious. My friend ordered the crab salad - she said it was good but also very small. Overall, I'm glad Bar 3 is now open in Millvale. I will definitely be back and try something new."

"A Pittsburgh restaurant that serves Buffalo food? Yes please! Beef on weck is a favorite in WNY but is basically impossible to find here in the Burgh. It is a hard roll with seeds and salt filled to the brim with juicy and tasty beef. Their version did not disappoint. They also serve pizza logs. Picture egg roll wrapping stuffed with pepperoni, cheese and marinara then fried. Pure deliciousness. Their wings are a nice size and served with plenty of crisp, blue cheese and celery. (I was seriously surprised how hard it us to find celery and blue cheese as accompaniments to wings).One thing to note is that you enter from the side street and their parking lot is shared with an auto shop so parking can be dicey.Overall I enjoyed my taste of home here in Pittsburgh."

"Had lunch here with my sister today and all I can say is I have been looking for a steak salad like this for a while around here. The steak was cooked perfectly with really fresh ingredients. I like that the lettuce was fresh and not the bagged stuff. Since it was lunch I really didn't order much else but look forward to trying different things on the menu. They have burgers, chicken over rice, and some other daily specials I cant wait to check out. It looked super clean in there and I didn't notice any horrible smells or oddities that would be a complete turnoff. Parking is a bit tight so if you have a large group you might want to carpool."

It was lunch so maybe they don't stack it on. I'd go back to try something else but maybe after the egg shortage ends. Ambiance is ok, older senior crowd like myself...who else eats this early. lol"

"I settled in with a four star rating for Ryan's Creek House. I stopped by on my way to a board meeting in Ford City. The atmosphere is pretty cool with a rustic lodge kind of feel. There are several big TVs to catch a game. The server I had was really attentive, friendly, and did a great job. The food at the end of the review was just ok. I had the "Dirty Bird" the chicken and bread were both kind of dry. The seasoned chips were really good. I dipped them in ranch and the side of Boom Boom sauce I got with my meal."

They needed salt and since I was using their gravy, I used black pepper too and they came out great!The pepperoni rolls were EXCELLENT! Best I've ever had! The dough was perfectly lite and flakey and there was an abundance of pepperoni in them and the sauce inside them was excellent! The dipping sauce they came with was nice, but was better inside the rolls than as a dipping sauce, as it was too thin.Service was excellent too... the two ladies running the bar were friendly and helpful. She brought our old in a timely manner, as well, and returned after an appropriate time to check on us.Food - 3For an appetizer we had the potato skins with pulled pork and jalapeños. The pulled pork lacked the flavor it should have had and the regular BBQ sauce didn't help it. For dinner, My wife ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs (with their new hickory BBQ sauce) and beef brisket with cole slaw and macoroni and cheese. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with their regular BBQ sauce with Cole slaw and potato salad. The ribs with the hickory sauce were quite good; however, the regular BBQ sauce was fairly tasteless. The brisket was fair and luke warm. We both liked the Cole slaw and potato salad, but the macaroni and cheese were bland and luke warm.Price - 4The price for our combined dinners was $62.20, a bit high for only having water with dinner, but not ridiculous.SuggestionsOne thing all BBQ restaurants should offer are beef ribs in addition to pork ribs. Good meaty, rip-off-the-bone-with-your-teeth ribs are a must. Also, make sure your cooked food comes to the table hot and tasty. Otherwise, good job."

"I'm sorry, but I liked this place. Maybe it's because I came here to drink, not eat. That's what a bar is for, at least it is to me. If you wanted food, maybe you should have stayed downstairs, jus' sayin'.This is a great little place up in here. Yes, I do mean up in here, you need to go upstairs, hence the name. To me, it seems to be a perfect space for a bar, and they used the space the best they could. The bar is perfect, enough seats for any bar dweller that enters. A couple of high tops complete that area. A few steps (up, that is) to the left as you enter is another area for seating, this area also houses the two dart boards.When I was here, the place was kind of dead, perfect for a low key night when all you want to do is get a drink and stare at whatever they chose to be on the TV. The bartender was polite and on top of her game. She never missed a beat when a patron asked for a drink. I also found that the other bar goers were just as nice as someone you bump into on the street. Ironically my friend and I struck up a conversation with two people we bumped into outside. There appears to be no judgments being made here.Drink specials every night of the week, and they are open every night of the week. Credit cards accepted. Six packs to go. And the most awesome thing to me, they will put together a 'Mystery Craft Sixer' for you to take for an extremely reasonable price."

"Let me tell you up front, if you're looking for anything more than a simple neighborhood dive, frequented mostly by regulars... don't bother! McGrogans, or McGrogs as we fondly refer to it, is our favorite little haunt in Canonsburg. One of my friends discovered it and it became our go-to 'after work' rant session venue. It offers a fairly decent selection of beer and spirits and a large bar counter... and an eclectic crowd. Weekday happy hour is half off. I will personally vouch for their jalapeño poppers and zucchini planks - my standard order when I'm here! The pizza and hoagies are good too. Service is friendly and on point! Their jukebox lets you pick the music - you will hear anything from Taylor Swift to Pink Floyd to the heaviest metal here in succession in the same evening. There is no judgement here, the poppers are the best and the beer is cheap! What more do you want! Now, most of us don't even work in Canonsburg anymore but still return to McGrogs every now and then just coz well... it's McGrogs!"

"I've been here a handful of times over the years, my first review. not sure i've had anything but their wings. maybe next time.not a large interior space, mayb 2/3 restaurant, 1/3 bar. pittsburgh-sports-themed interior. draft list was just okay.i was here for a late lunch on a thursday afternoon. the place was all but empty on my arrival and service was prompt and attentive.while the wings could be a bit bigger, the chix quality was good and they were cooked to crispy perfection (without asking for xtra crispy)....the wings come pretty wet without having to ask for itthey just might be the best buffalo style hot wings i have had...certainly in recent memory anyway. nothing fancy with the sauce itself (guessing a franks redhot base) but some decent heat.4.75 rating (size) for the wings themselves. overall rating is more like a 4.25."

The parking situation was a little hard but we lucked out with a decent spot on the side of the building. (I imagine during peak hours parking might be an issue, so I'd go early)"

"This is a local mall business and it's good if you're staying in a local hotel or rest area. The beer prices reasonable I am from the Buffalo area so when I ordered wings extra crispy I'm a pretty harsh judge. The bartenders were very friendly and good listeners. I had a few pints in the bar area that was clean and quiet on a Wednesday night with a snow front coming in the area. I took my wings to go. I am certain they were probably frozen. This is not a bad thing as they were definitely cooked as I requested, ( you can always tell fresh though). The sauce was good and if you like spicy wings... you can order here and keep a favorite spicy bottle in your car/house. The coating on the wings to add the crispy crust made the wings really worthwhile. I also heard a guy at the bar order the ribs and he seemed to really enjoy them."
