"Came to Johnstown to hike and explore on a July Sunday. My friend and I first hiked at Lorain/Stonycreek. Afterwards, we were famished and my friend had the task of finding us a great lunch spot. Wahlah! Osaka, it was!We were promptly greeted and seated in a booth. They had an all-you-can-eat option. We looked at the menu and decided we would opt out of that and just order from the menu, saving a few bucks for the amount of food we wanted. We ended up ordering a roll and a combo platter of sashimi and a roll. We also got miso soup and seaweed salad with soft drinks.Service was fast, our server was very nice and efficient, the food was all good and presentation eye catching.The only critique would be our diet pepsis. They tasted "off", "heavy", maybe carbonation not quite right. Other than that, a great dining option!"

"Came here for the first time for dinner on a weeknight. I ordered the hibachi tofu, friend ordered the 3 cup basil chicken, and the fried cookie dough for dessert. Total came out to $21.What's Hot- Prices. The meals are under $10 each and the price varies depending on what protein you order, which makes sense. My tofu hibachi meal is under $8. The fried cookie dough is $3.99. Reasonable and decent prices for a full meal. - Location. In Oakland and good location/easily accessible. Very good walking distance, especially for the local scene. There are a lot of students, so be prepared that certain times may be busier than others.- Layout. It's not a huge place. There are a few tables downstairs, but there is an additional floor upstairs, as well, which is helpful.- Quality. Food was yummers! Looks like the food is made on the spot, rather than sitting under a heat lamp. I definitely appreciate that and the food tastes a little better because of that. The tofu is stir fried fried tofu, but the sauce was pretty good. The dish had stir fried bean sprouts and comes with egg and veggies. When I asked the clerk what type of veggies come with the dish, he responded that it's whatever vegetables they have for that day. So it sounds like it rotates. The veggie of the day was stir fried napa cabbage, which was yummy. The egg of the day was a steamed egg, which I really liked. I also like that this place doesn't just do fried eggs. Steamed egg is healthier and it's yummy if you drizzle some sauce on it, too. It's not the best Asian food I've had. But for the price, it's pretty good. The fried cookie dough was awesome! My friend said that alone is enough to make him come back again. Haha... The cookie dough was somewhat runny and gooey, but that made it taste that much better. It's drizzled with a little powder sugar, which gives it a nice sweet kick, but isn't overpowering. - Service. Staff there are nice and answer any questions you have. - Recyclable containers. We ordered our food to eat in. Our food was served in plastic container that are recyclable and come with lids. I like that these containers can be cleaned and are reusable. I'm not certain if they don't use styrofoam containers at all. But I do like that the containers we had are plastic reusable and recyclable containers.What's Not- Location/parking. It's in the heart of downtown in Oakland. It looks like it's catered to the local crowd. Almost everyone I saw who came by ordered food to go, as well. I don't recommend coming here with a car, unless you know you can find cheap nearby parking, you're taking the busy, or you're dropping someone off. Final AnswerWould come back if I'm in the area."

But the customer service is wow 10/10. The girl at the counter recognized me and remembered my name after just one visit. She also remembered my previous order and applauded me for trying something new each time. She brought out some spices to me and explained how her mom grows/ferments these at their house and showed me exactly how to eat them with each type of food. She is very knowledgeable. I love being able to discuss things like that with the workers. I get to understand a little more about the business and it makes me want to keep coming back. Chirashi should have sprinkled eggs, seaweed, and some sweetness on the top but this was just bunch of sashimi on the rice and the price was expensive for the quantity but fish quality was high level. The biscuits are from Callie's hot lil biscuit in Charleston, SC and they were absolutely delicious! The chicken was nice and juicy, pancakes fluffy! Shrimp and grits was on the smaller side for what I'm used to, but honestly was a digestable amount. I wouldn't have been able to finish it, had there been any more on the plate! I also had a virgin Bloody Mary and it was the perfect amount of spice! I'm currently pregnant, but usually enjoy their juicy beers when I am able to partake! We both chose bowls, I went with fried rice and Spicy Chicken. Noel went with White Rice and Steak. We both chose some veggies, cheese and a sauce. It was very good. The food was wonderful.We enjoyed eating with chopsticks. We also ordered Blue Raspberry Lemonade which turned out too sweet for me.I definitely would go back here again to eat and definitely recommend if you're in the Morgantown area to try them out. And I put it on my list to come again to try different options from the menu, after the food was tasted of course.I went with the eggplant tofu with a side of noodles and she went with one of the Bento boxes. All I know from her bento box is that she got some Sesame crispy tofu and it was delicious and I will be getting that the next time that I come.My dish came on a plate kind of like a fajita. It was very steamy and sizzling for a lot longer than I would have liked because it was so hot I couldn't eat it. And then I also felt bad because the steam was just blowing into my friend's face. She was a good sport and said that she liked it and she said it was like a steam bath with delicious flavors. But it still made me feel a little bit bad. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and all the vegetables were delicious. The sauce was light and did not overtake everything and didn't give me that sticky feeling of heaviness that some Asian sauces do. I think that I would have liked crispy tofu instead of just the regular tofu because it probably would have stayed together easier. But all in all the meal was very good.I look forward to trying more things on the menu especially their sushi and their bento box. And a little taste of that Sesame tofu has had me hooked and waiting to go back soon to get some of that. If you're in the Southside try it out."

"We had a most enjoyable meal here last night. We split the bao buns to start and they were so good and even accommodated the pickled veg on the side since my husband doesn't like that type of thing. Phenomenal way to start a meal! I also ordered Tom Yum soup, it was beautifully presented in a large bowl with a wooden plate underneath. The broth was very flavorful I will get this time and again. For my main course I had the ahi nachos app. The wonton was expertly cooked so it was very crispy. The ahi was of good quality. The nachos had a wasabi slaw on top which was good it was just too soupy and there was too much of it so I had to scoop some off. Besides that mild inconvenience the meal was epic! My butterfly pea martini was lovely. My husband ordered from their partner restaurant Los Bajas and had the birria tacos. Which he enjoyed but didn't love the dipping soup/sauce that came with it. Their hot salsa was fire!Service was great and I loved how the restaurant was decorated. Check this place out. You will not be disappointed!"
