"Came to Johnstown to hike and explore on a July Sunday. My friend and I first hiked at Lorain/Stonycreek. Afterwards, we were famished and my friend had the task of finding us a great lunch spot. Wahlah! Osaka, it was!We were promptly greeted and seated in a booth. They had an all-you-can-eat option. We looked at the menu and decided we would opt out of that and just order from the menu, saving a few bucks for the amount of food we wanted. We ended up ordering a roll and a combo platter of sashimi and a roll. We also got miso soup and seaweed salad with soft drinks.Service was fast, our server was very nice and efficient, the food was all good and presentation eye catching. The only critique would be our diet pepsis. They tasted "off", "heavy", maybe carbonation not quite right. Other than that, a great dining option!"
"This place is really good, I have enjoyed it both times I went. Only reason I didn't give it 5 was because I feel it's sort of basic, nothing super special, but you know what you are getting when you go."

"Asian food truck located in The Strip. Known for its chicken on stick that comes with bbq sauce- definitely recommend. All their food is super authentic. They have super good egg rolls that are only $3! While there, also tried their pad Thai which was very tasty. You have the ability to add spice if that's what you'd like. Tables under a tent available for sitting! Very friendly service! Next time you're near the Strip and looking for a quick bite- Definitely stop!"
"I've ordered takeout from Katana a handful of times, and my experience has always been a good one. The food is fresh, hot, and very tasty. The Crispy Roll is my favorite sushi item. Try adding asparagus to it, and thank me later :)The hibachi is very flavorful, and portions are good. Some highlights were the chicken and steak hibachi, and the chicken katsu. If you try it you won't be disappointed!"
"Bright, clean, and cheery! Delicious fast casual food. Fresh flavors and ingredients. Our food came out fast and well prepared."
"Came here for the first time for dinner on a weeknight. I ordered the hibachi tofu, friend ordered the 3 cup basil chicken, and the fried cookie dough for dessert. Total came out to $21.What's Hot- Prices. The meals are under $10 each and the price varies depending on what protein you order, which makes sense. My tofu hibachi meal is under $8. The fried cookie dough is $3.99. Reasonable and decent prices for a full meal. - Location. In Oakland and good location/easily accessible. Very good walking distance, especially for the local scene. There are a lot of students, so be prepared that certain times may be busier than others.- Layout. It's not a huge place. There are a few tables downstairs, but there is an additional floor upstairs, as well, which is helpful.- Quality. Food was yummers! Looks like the food is made on the spot, rather than sitting under a heat lamp. I definitely appreciate that and the food tastes a little better because of that. The tofu is stir fried fried tofu, but the sauce was pretty good. The dish had stir fried bean sprouts and comes with egg and veggies. When I asked the clerk what type of veggies come with the dish, he responded that it's whatever vegetables they have for that day. So it sounds like it rotates. The veggie of the day was stir fried napa cabbage, which was yummy. The egg of the day was a steamed egg, which I really liked. I also like that this place doesn't just do fried eggs. Steamed egg is healthier and it's yummy if you drizzle some sauce on it, too. It's not the best Asian food I've had. But for the price, it's pretty good. The fried cookie dough was awesome! My friend said that alone is enough to make him come back again. Haha... The cookie dough was somewhat runny and gooey, but that made it taste that much better. It's drizzled with a little powder sugar, which gives it a nice sweet kick, but isn't overpowering. - Service. Staff there are nice and answer any questions you have. - Recyclable containers. We ordered our food to eat in. Our food was served in plastic container that are recyclable and come with lids. I like that these containers can be cleaned and are reusable. I'm not certain if they don't use styrofoam containers at all. But I do like that the containers we had are plastic reusable and recyclable containers. What's Not- Location/parking. It's in the heart of downtown in Oakland. It looks like it's catered to the local crowd. Almost everyone I saw who came by ordered food to go, as well. I don't recommend coming here with a car, unless you know you can find cheap nearby parking, you're taking the busy, or you're dropping someone off. Final AnswerWould come back if I'm in the area."
"I don't know how many times we ordered from here but it's always great. The food has been consistently fantastic every single time we order which is like once a month or more. The staff is always friendly and quick it's the best Asian food you'll get in the area."
"I definitely keep coming back for the customer service. I'm giving 4 stars because I don't see the hype about the food tbh. I feel like I could get very similar food at any restaurant like this. But the customer service is wow 10/10. The girl at the counter recognized me and remembered my name after just one visit. She also remembered my previous order and applauded me for trying something new each time. She brought out some spices to me and explained how her mom grows/ferments these at their house and showed me exactly how to eat them with each type of food. She is very knowledgeable. I love being able to discuss things like that with the workers. I get to understand a little more about the business and it makes me want to keep coming back. Apparently it's great late night after the bars so I will give it a try late night soon!"
"8 yrs later, this is still my favorite restaurant in the Akron area. Food hasnt changed. On our 2nd week into our recent vacation in Ireland, the only thing I wanted to eat was Sushi Asia Gourmet's Beef with Onion and Cumin . . ."
"Best Chinese food around! Staff is friendly whether you are eating in or getting takeout. Never had a bad experience."
"Host came immediately to the door to greet us. I love the way the decor is and how there is seating up top. The food came nice and hot. They bring the table complimentary popcorn to snack on while waiting on your food. The waitress was very attentive. Prices are good in my book. P.S. 75 cent wings on Wednesday and Sunday."
"Friendly service. Always quick and served piping hot. Portions are still pretty large. Comfy booth sitting area."

First and foremost - this place is a true hidden gem! The dining room is nicely renovated and cozy. Staff is swift and polite. The menu has everything from classic Chinese fare like General Tso, to pad Thai noodles, to hibachi, to sushi platters. Let's get into the details: my husband and I decided to try this place out on a Sunday night. We were practically the only ones in the restaurant. We arrived about 7:15 and we had our full meal in front of us and already half way down with our meal by 7:45. They were extremely fast. I ordered the spicy maki sushi platter and my husband got the general Tsos chicken. The sushi was phenomenal and gorgeously plated. The general tsos chicken was honestly some of the best chicken I've ever had. Their prices are extremely reasonable. We got my sushi meal (that included soup and salad), a order or general tsos chicken, plus a king crab roll, and a spicy crab roll for just $42. Not bad at all! Seriously guys... do not sleep on this gem! I'll absolutely be back!

Server and staff- 5 star, they were friendly and fast placed. This reminds me of an Asian style Chipotle. I appreciated how quickly they took my order. The food was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful establishment.

I stopped by here while in the strip district. I had their pad Thai and chicken egg roll. The pad Thai was tasty and the egg roll was phenomenal. I would recommend trying their food when in the area. The place was clean and staff was friendly.

Love this place! Just came here for the first time and would definitely recommend it. I had the wagyu smash burger and it was juicy and delicious. Good sized meal for the price. The service was great, all of the employees and owner are super friendly. The place itself is very clean with plenty of space. They have a self order system where you order on a touch screen on your own which is super easy and convenient. 10/10

The four piece chicken meal was awesome. Yes the tenders are on the smaller size but they are fresh and lightly fried. The breading was on the spicy side but was really, really, really, good. The meal only came with one sauce but you can purchase more for a little extra. I got to try the fried pickles and an empanada, too. Yum. The empanada is spicy!! So be prepared for that. The pickles are good, not outstanding but still good. The meal came with a side, I picked the salad, which had lettuce, croutons, and cheese. Can't wait to go back.

Favorite place for late night good food! The staff is always friendly and kind. Parking can be a bit rough but it is manageable! Overall my favorite place for a good, late night filling food. The seafood wontons are absolutely amazing, I highly recommend!

"The sushi was fresh tasting & a large order of 8 pieces. The owner/chef was a nice knowledgeable guy.I expect It well be my regular stop"
"Absolutely the Best Chinese food I've had in a long time. The food was amazing. Huge portions and the service was great. The only thing off was the place is set up like it's Covid still and the seating was all blocked off. Two stars taken away for that on atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and asked twice to make sure I ordered the right thing. Definitely recommend."
"Hit or miss. Expensive. This place seems like a copycat of another Asian place in the area. The menu is almost exactly the same (even the same dish names), but the execution misses the mark. Try the walnut chicken."
"It's an unassuming gem. Located in a strip mall, this is some of the best sushi around. The dinosaur egg app is the best!! I get it every single time I go. Everything is tasty and they have a large selection."
"Awesome luxury Asian restaurant. Not only Thai cuisine but also Japanese and Chinese meals are in this restaurant. The lo mein noodle was superior than other Thai restaurants around canton. Chirashi sushi was not an authentic style at all. As a Japanese, very disappointing understanding to this dish. Chirashi should have sprinkled eggs, seaweed, and some sweetness on the top but this was just bunch of sashimi on the rice and the price was expensive for the quantity but fish quality was high level. This is a kind of place where you would use for a special date or celebrating."
"Very good Chinese food for both spicy and mild pallets. Great protein to vegetable ratio, and portion sizesPrices are very reasonable Also doesn't give you a stomach ache.. which is a problem I've had with other Chinese restaurants in the areaI have only eaten to go from here, cannot give an opinion on sit in experience"
"Went to Soba on Valentine's Day and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Service was friendly and we were seated immediately. They have a nice selections of specialty cocktails and extensive drink selection. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, with a fireplace and unique lighting. It feels cozy and warm and is a great place for a date night or a dinner with friends. We had the special Four course Tasting Menu. The Sea Bass was the best I have ever had! You cannot go wrong with whatever you choose! We hope to be back soon!"
"Ate here while drinking beers at Velum and...I gotta say...they are better, much better, at making food than Velum is at making beer. The menu is...hard to explain. A mix of high-end stoner food, classic American, new-school American, PGH local flavor, and even some Asian influences.I got a big ol sloppy wet burger and...it was incredible. It was called the hot shot and...while I wish it was a bit more spicy...it was packed with hearty flavors. It also came with fries, something that is sadly becoming rare in the fancier burger scene. The fries were also really good, good enough to be ordered on their own."
"Best place in Pittsburgh! The food is great but the cocktails are impeccable! Also the wine list is one of the best in Pittsburgh too. The ambiance, service, and food surpass expectations. Make the reservation!"
"Spicy and yummy. Definitely worth checking out for different types of Asian food .Be careful not to get too spicy"
"We stopped in for their Sunday Brunch with live jazz! 10/10 recommend! We had the fried chicken and pancakes, shrimp & grits, a side of potato hash, and an order of biscuits. The biscuits are from Callie's hot lil biscuit in Charleston, SC and they were absolutely delicious! The chicken was nice and juicy, pancakes fluffy! Shrimp and grits was on the smaller side for what I'm used to, but honestly was a digestable amount. I wouldn't have been able to finish it, had there been any more on the plate! I also had a virgin Bloody Mary and it was the perfect amount of spice! I'm currently pregnant, but usually enjoy their juicy beers when I am able to partake! They have other mocktails and great soda available and it's very family friendly if you have little ones or are worried to go bc of brew being in the name--it's more of a quaint little sit down restaurant feel than a bar feel."
"They didn't think our 10 year could eat the steak that was bigger than his head, but he sure did. We all ate well."
"Best Thai in the city. I've tried a lot of Thai places in Pittsburgh, but this one beats them all. Any noodle dish I've had was outstanding, and the dumplings are always the best. Takeout and eating in are both great options."
"Noel and I was in Morgantown WV for my doctor's appointment and while there I searched around the area for a restaurant for lunch. We chose Oryxa Asian Grill Restaurant because of some of the reviews and photos shared. The restaurant was very clean. We were greeted immediately, but it's not table service. We both chose bowls, I went with fried rice and Spicy Chicken. Noel went with White Rice and Steak. We both chose some veggies, cheese and a sauce. It was very good. The food was wonderful. We enjoyed eating with chopsticks. We also ordered Blue Raspberry Lemonade which turned out too sweet for me.I definitely would go back here again to eat and definitely recommend if you're in the Morgantown area to try them out. There are 2 locations. We both really enjoyed the food!!!"
"We first went to their coffee shop 4 doors down. You need to go there and bring your coffee back if you would like some. The food was good, except rice was cold, and pricey ($17/lunch). Very cold with ceiling fans blowing and unable to change. Other customers left due to the cold. We enjoyed it, but there are better places, including their coffee shop!"
"We made a big order on Saturday's afternoon, the order was ready within 20 minutes with all the needed utensils and all the rolls were labeled perfectly, the food was so fresh and hot. All of my family members love the food, we would definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover. Those are some pictures of the order not all of it (lol)."
"We order take out a few times a year from here. Most recent trip, I believe they overcharged me by a whole meal, as I only got 2/3 meals I ordered. The food is one of the better Asian cuisines in the area.I typically order chicken fried rice or broccoli with garlic sauce and am pleased with my food. The hot and sour soup and crag Ragoon's are two sides we get from time to time, which my family enjoys. The ragoons are small with a little filling but the crunch is good and it's the only option in our area."
"Quick, pleasant, and friendly service. The food was well seasoned. The ramen was the highlight of my meal, however, it was a bit spicier than expected, but otherwise full of flavor. The interior is a bit loud when running at full capacity which made it hard to hear and talk to others. The outside looked like a great area to spend with kids. Our party had some issues navigating the qr code menu, but staff was able to take orders instead."
"Hit this place while visiting Pitt for a student tour. Entry Is a bit misleading as it is pretty small but there is a decent eating space upstairs. The donut was fantastic; spicy tuna, tuna and salmon with avocado. So good! The other sushi (can't remember what we ordered) was also excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful in finding the best combo for our first visit. Won't be our last visit."
"I got the spicy smoked salmon bowl & omg!!! So fresh & quality ingredients, it was delicious! Smoked salmon, roe, edamame, chickpeas, pickled veggies, spicy mayo, and I added avocado. I'm still thinking about it. The service was really fast, even during the busy lunch time! I will say the pricing is on the more expensive side but I get it with all of the inflation we're seeing. Wouldn't stop me from going again!"
"Fantastic all around - a must try! The service is amazing and very welcoming from the moment you walk in. The food is always good and very affordable for what you get. It's not fancy by any means, but definitely tasty! We love their sushi options and you can make your own bowl as well. My daughter loves the egg rolls. We haven't had anything that we did not enjoy. It's a regular stop for us."
"I've had a few friends say this is their favorite restaurant in all of Southside. So when helping a friend move I suggested that we go here. Or maybe she's just suggested that we go there either or it was a good choice. We walked in and we got seated right away and we just missed the lunch special. While slightly disappointed the full menu was still available and it looked very good.My friend knew right away what she wanted since she has lived in the south side and comes here lot. I need the little bit more time to look through all the pages. I was pretty impressed with the different options that Lin's had. And I put it on my list to come again to try different options from the menu, after the food was tasted of course.I went with the eggplant tofu with a side of noodles and she went with one of the Bento boxes. All I know from her bento box is that she got some Sesame crispy tofu and it was delicious and I will be getting that the next time that I come.My dish came on a plate kind of like a fajita. It was very steamy and sizzling for a lot longer than I would have liked because it was so hot I couldn't eat it. And then I also felt bad because the steam was just blowing into my friend's face. She was a good sport and said that she liked it and she said it was like a steam bath with delicious flavors. But it still made me feel a little bit bad. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and all the vegetables were delicious. The sauce was light and did not overtake everything and didn't give me that sticky feeling of heaviness that some Asian sauces do. I think that I would have liked crispy tofu instead of just the regular tofu because it probably would have stayed together easier. But all in all the meal was very good.I look forward to trying more things on the menu especially their sushi and their bento box. And a little taste of that Sesame tofu has had me hooked and waiting to go back soon to get some of that. If you're in the Southside try it out."
"We had a most enjoyable meal here last night. We split the bao buns to start and they were so good and even accommodated the pickled veg on the side since my husband doesn't like that type of thing. Phenomenal way to start a meal! I also ordered Tom Yum soup, it was beautifully presented in a large bowl with a wooden plate underneath. The broth was very flavorful I will get this time and again. For my main course I had the ahi nachos app. The wonton was expertly cooked so it was very crispy. The ahi was of good quality. The nachos had a wasabi slaw on top which was good it was just too soupy and there was too much of it so I had to scoop some off. Besides that mild inconvenience the meal was epic! My butterfly pea martini was lovely. My husband ordered from their partner restaurant Los Bajas and had the birria tacos. Which he enjoyed but didn't love the dipping soup/sauce that came with it. Their hot salsa was fire!Service was great and I loved how the restaurant was decorated. Check this place out. You will not be disappointed!"
