This used to be a good place. They have very poor customer service. I ordered through Grubhub and when I went to pick up my latte, Buon Giorno told me their latte machine was broken and when i tried to get a reimbursement from Grubhub, they told Grubhub their machine was working fine, told me to come back in an hour for a latte, and wouldn't allow for the reimbursement. I also think they have been doing illegal things from their location. I don't trust them.

so good! everything this restaurants makes is fresh as can be. i've been coming here for lunch for so many years now and always get the Portabella mushroom salad. it's the most generous portion size of mixed greens, topped with mushrooms, artichokes, roasted peppers, tomatoes, etc. typically has ricotta as well but i order without and it's absolutely fantastic. all salads come served with fresh bread. everything they make from their homemade soups, sandwiches, risotto, breakfast offerings - just fantastic. i've never had a bad meal here and look forward to every occasion spent here.

So good! Reviews deserve to be higher. Came here for lunch for the first time. Italian wedding soup was phenomenal and the turkey sandwich was also very good. It has little hole in the wall vibes - in the best way. Really fresh looking pastries too! Will be back

Average food, the best stuff is on their specials menu, which you can only find in the restaurant. I usually splurge (10 dollars) on a medium sized sweet balsamic salad when it's raining and I can't bear to leave my office building. Other than that, I wouldn't spend the money to dine here. Maybe if the prices dropped it would move to a 4 star rating.

Buon Giorno is located very close to my workplace, so I often go here for lunch. They offer three daily specials (usually a salad, a sandwich, and a pasta) in addition to their full menu. Generally, their food is "good", not great. I find most of their sandwiches and pastas to be a bit bland, especially those made with ricotta. Instead of mixing ricotta with a sharper, saltier cheese (as one typically does in lasagna and/or filled pastas), Buon Giorno just sort of dumps it on top of penne and marinara sauce. How boring. I enjoy their italian tuna salad (not the kind with mayo!) and wedding soup. All salads and soups come a few slices of Manini's bread, which never disappoints. If you order a sandwich, you will receive a side of the risotto (usually either spinach, portabello mushroom, or spinach and feta). The spinach and feta rice is so good, my co-workers call it "crack rice." You always want more. Another positive thing about Buon Giorno is their breakfast. They make delicious breakfast sandwiches and frittatas. It is safe to say that all the small plates and sides are excellent at Buon Giorno, while the main entrees are only so-so. For a cafe that is only open for breakfast and lunch downtown, that's really all you need. But don't go to Buon Giorno expecting a high quality Italian meal.

A great hidden gem that I stumbled upon near work. Great lunch specials, decent prices and good food. I went for the Italian wedding soup and 1/2 portobello mushroom sandwich, and that was filling. Super nice staff. Thumbs up from me. Will definitely be back.

We get lunch for our work from Buon Giorno at least once a week. Their soups, salads, sandwiches are unbelievably delicious. Every time I order something I want to order it again but then again I want to try something new. The mozzarella and tomato salad, the Caesar salad and eggplant salads are so good! The pastas are delicious as well. Everything is so fresh. I wish we could order from there every day of the week. We highly recommend it:)Debra Donahue

Service: Ordered via Grub Hub. Was given a time to pick up the order and I was even 20 minutes past the time. I arrived and the food was not ready so I had to wait. What is the point of pre-ordering when I have to wait?? Further to this, when asked if my order was not received I was given an excuse about how it might have been cold. Just be honest and tell me you overlooked my order. This is the first time I ordered, and ate, at this place and it did not have a good impression. Food: Ordered bacon, egg, cheese sandwich. Tasted like your standard bacon egg cheese sandwich. Bacon was crispy though so that was nice.
