I work right up the road from here. We would order take out quite often and many times, we would eat in. Sometimes I would pick up and take home. Today, I was hungry for wings, so we drove down to eat. We decided on doing take out since there seemed to be too many flies inside. I ordered mild wings extra crispy. My wife ordered the same and also ordered a cheese steak to take home for her son. I grabbed two root beers and my wife got an iced tea out of the cooler. We sat down and as usual, the one lady was wiping off all the tables. She always does this when I see her in there working.The girl at the counter went into the employee bathroom and we saw the toilet blow up on her. While she was cleaning that up, I saw the young man in the kitchen put an order on the wire rack. It is a habit of mine to look at the time when somebody puts an order out. The young lady finished cleaning the bathroom. I was hoping she wasn't going to touch any of the food. She went back in the kitchen and appeared to be screwing off. In the mean time, the kitchen put out two more orders on to the wire rack. The phone rang, so she came around to answer the phone and actually do her job. She took somebody's order and then another man walked in. He was there to pick up his order. She checked him out. The other people sitting in the dining room ordered a pizza. The pizza was done when the toilet blew up. She finally took the pizza out to that table that was sitting on the counter for about 15 minutes.The young lady then checked the one bag on the rack and went over and looked at the register. She then said to us "I only charged you for one order of wings, I need to charge you for the second order." My wife went up to pay and she then grabbed the bag off the rack to hand to my wife. My wife paid for the second order and then asked "do you still have to make the second order" and the young lady said "yes, I am sorry." I looked at my watch and that food was sitting on the wire rack for over 20 minutes. I said to her "That was sitting there for over 20 minutes and now you are asking us to wait for another 20 minutes for the second order to come out?" She put up her arms to indicate "Oh Well." I said "NO, we are not doing this." I told her to give us back our money, we do not want it. By the time we would get out of there, the one order of wings and the order of cheese steak would be over 40 minutes old and by the time we got home to eat it, it would be over an hour old. She had to get help to back out the two separate charges on the debit card minus the two cans of root bear and one container of iced tea. I told the young lady that I will never be back EVER because of the "WHATEVER" attitude. As I was walking outside, the older lady was sitting outside taking a break. I told her that we would never be back and quickly told her what happened. I also stated the young lady inside needs to be fired. I strong do believe she needs to be fired.I do have to say a good thing happened out of this. Since this happened, we went to "2nd Avenue on Tap" near Courtesy Ford. It was the first time we were there. I had the wings and my wife had steak. We also ordered a cheese steak to go. Our son said that was the best cheese steak he ever had and he is from Philly. He said he finally found a place in Altoona that has a better cheese steak than he can find in Philly.While we were at "2nd Avenue on Tap" I check our bank account. Not only are they incompetent at "Brooklyn Deli", they rip you off. Both refunded amounts did not match the amount they originally charged us. They refunded a lesser amount. So, they ripped us off too. Stay FAR away from Brooklyn Deli. Others at work always wanted to go somewhere else when we ordered for lunch. I always talked them into Brooklyn Deli. Not anymore. We will order from Cobrah's, Primanti, 2nd Avenue on Tap or somewhere else. Never again at Brooklyn Deli. They are way overpriced anyhow.Again, go somewhere else.

We used to love this place, but the order accuracy has really gone downhill in the past year or two. There is always something missing. This time there were no black olives on the grilled chicken salad. It's listed on the menu, so why would I need to request them? And their website pricing is wrong! $9.50 for the salad, but when my co-worker picked it up along with a new menu, they are now $12.65. If you can't keep your prices updated on your website, then take them off completely!

We order pizza from Brooklyn Deli several times a month and we always look forward to it. While we haven't tried much from the menu, their pepperoni & buffalo chicken pizzas are delicious. Definitely some of the best pizza in the area.

Up in PA visiting family and we found this place, and damn is it good!!! We got two Italian subs, a rueben, and two Stromboli's. The staff is very friendly and the food was spectacular!

Consistently delicious. I've ordered pizza, salad, wings, Stromboli's and calzones. Every time it is hot, fresh and delicious. Order accuracy has been 100% . I have seen reviews about the Slice app. I have also used that, and while I don't love the app, I do love the Brooklyn deli so I deal with that part. I only have one suggestion and that would be adding a dry rub to the menu. Those are my favorite. :)

Great food but a poor way to run a business. I ordered three times via the Slice App. First time it was great no issues. The second time when I went to pick up the food, they informed me they forgot to place the order. Long wait time with no discount or free garlic knots, etc. Third time when I went to pick up food, they told me the person who makes the pizza was not in and coming to make the food. I went to go get some drinks. I came back when my Slice App said food was ready. It was not ready and I was told the guy just got there to make the food. If you have no one to make the food due to any circumstance, don't take orders or close. After my rating in Slice, they customer support said Brooklyn Deli apologizes but won't give any partial refund or discount. I like the food but not worth the poor customer service. I don't feel they valued me as a patron.

Our favorite pizza delivery. I love a light puffy dough and this pizza never disappoints. The kids chicken and fries is a huge portion and cheap! The fries remind me of boardwalk fresh cut. I often get the grilled chicken salad. Only disappointment is they do not have green olives. Delivery will usually take an hour so be prepared to time your order appropriately.
