Brooklyn bagel was a pleasant surprise when I went for a breakfast bagel sandwich a few weeks ago. I remember the first time I went not being impressed by their bagels but I'm so glad I was proved wrong this second time around. I would say that after this experience they make hands down one of the best bagel sandwiches in the city! And they are pretty reasonably priced too. The bagels were soft and flavorful, the fillings were plentiful, and they got us our food relatively quick considering they were slammed. Super happy with my experience here.

A very good bagel experience not easily found in Pittsburgh. All of the sandwiches I have tried seem to be made with great care in ingredient selection. This is something we can only find with an independent owner operator with a high level of culinary credential and commitment to a vision. The coffee is less talked about but deserves a mention because it really rounds out the experience and is as good as or better than most coffee shop offerings.

We walked over to Brooklyn Bagel at Arsenal from our Airbnb and found the place absolutely buzzing with energy! There was a line practically out the door, which we took as a good sign, and despite the wait, the staff moved quickly and kept everything running smoothly. By the time our bagels were ready, we lucked out and snagged a spot inside to eat--which was definitely a good call since these bagels were loaded!I ordered the Torta Bagel Sandwich with egg, chorizo sausage, cheddar cheese, cilantro sauce, jalapeño, and lime, and it did not disappoint. The bagel was packed with bold flavors, and the hearty fillings made it super satisfying. The cilantro sauce and lime added a fresh, zesty twist that tied everything together. If you're in the area and craving a flavorful, hearty breakfast, Brooklyn Bagel is a must-visit. Just be ready to get there early and don't eat it in your car--these bagels are no joke!

I got a bacon, egg, cheese and jalapeño cream cheese. I'm so glad I did the cream cheese, even though it definitely made my sandwich messy. The bacon was good and not soggy. I do wish there was more seasoning on the everything bagel but it was good. The service was good. My food came out fast. I got mine to go but there were places to sit and enjoy your bagel.

Friends and I were in town for a quick visit and before we parted ways we were in despaate need of breakfast. After a little browsing on Yelp and delivery sites we decided to give the bagel sandwiches here a try. I believe we placed the order on door dash and roughly an hour later our order arrived, hot and ready to be devoured. I went with your classic egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. Most of my friends ordered something very similar. I was very surprised to see how big my sandwich was and it was super tasty. It was a little bit dry but overall good. Next time I would probably add some cream cheese. Lastly, I know the order was messed up a little bit, but it wasn't a huge deal. I'm the only one that has dietary restrictions and mine was perfect, so it all worked out. I can see why folks like having this bagel shop in the neighborhood.

Grabbed a bagel for the first time today, even though I've driven by and been in lawrenceville a million times! I ordered the Torta bagel sandwich on a sesame bagel. This sandwich had a has brown, fried egg, cheese, cilantro sauce and chorizo. It was incredibly greasy (as most things with chorizo are) but it was so good! Loved the texture of everything together and thought the flavor was good! Personally, the chorizo could have been saltier and spicier but I thought it was well done! Nice place to sit and have a meeting or meet a friend for coffee. Even at 10am, there was plenty of searing. Friendly, quick service.

First time in Pittsburg. I came to drop off my son at CMU. I am so happy I found this place. The service was good and everything was made fresh.. This breakfast sandwich doesn't disappoint, it's everything you expect from a bagel sandwich. The breakfast cookie was a nice sweet surprise I really enjoyed eating it. Very savory and sweet satisfaction without the guilt. I like the atmosphere it's very casual. Try it!

They aren't enough bagel spots in Pittsburgh. I drove 25 minutes to try this one, and it was worth every minute of the trip! I got a Burgh sandwich and it was well worth $9, which isn't how I always feel about pricy bagel sandwiches. The sausage was flavorful, and the hash brown had a great crunch without feeling oily. I loved the taste of getting it on an everything bagel, and my partner agreed the everything bagel was a better choice than the sesame he got it on. Service was quick and there was no line around 9am on a Saturday.

I'm visiting town for a family event and wanted a decent breakfast. BB was a nice walk from the hotel. Ambiance was lovely- nice music, a variety of seating. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was not great. i ordered the bacon avocado bowl. honestly, The eggs were so so, the bacon was minimal, and the potatoes were quite salty- and I love salt. The worst part of the breakfast was the bagel. We ordered two- cinnamon raisin and everything flavors. They were both snalll and swimming in some butter-like substance- maybe unsalted butter? I used several napkins to absorb the butter, but the bagel itself still did not taste good. It might have at one point, but not today. I've had bagels in NY several times- these aren't eve close.

As a New Yorker, I miss the classic NY/NJ bagels, so I'm always on the lookout for a good alternative. While these bagels are great compared to what you'd find in most places, they don't quite measure up to the authentic NY/NJ style. Still, for Pittsburgh, they're the best option I've found so far! For delivery orders I recommend the business adds safety seals to their cup lids! I got a really delightful latte, but there was no sticker covering the lid which made me a little skeptical, drank it regardless because it smelt amazing and tasted even better!!
