Boulevard Grill & Warehouse

We stopped at BG for dinner after the PA Mountain Bike race in Johnstown. Service was good. Ask your server about the actual tap menu, the one on the table was completely wrong. We ended up with a great Green Iguana from Evergrain. The pretzel app and potato soup were both awesome. I had the Oktoberfest sampler with Wiener schnitzel, brats, weiß kraut and spätzl. We also had a rare cooked tuna wrap and the Alfredo. All were very good. This place has a very old school vibe. Tons of seating indoors and outdoors. Parking on street and in lots immediately adjacent to the restaurant.

Big "Thank You" to the staff at the Boulevard. They hosted our daughter's graduation party. The food was great. The service was great. The room was perfect. All the guests had great things to say about the food and private room. Great party. ‍

Boulevard Grill is a hidden gem in Johnstown! My fiance and I travel to Johnstown on business periodically, and this is one of our favorite places for a weekend dinner! We prefer to sit at the bar because the bartenders always provide great service!We have never been disappointed with the food; the wraps are always my favorite, especially the Southwest Wrap. I also LOVE the homemade wedding soup! It does get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so I would recommend making reservations if you would like to sit at a table!

Unfortunately, after going to the Boulevard for years and having good experiences, tonight was far from that. The restaurant was unprepared to handle the patrons. It took far too long for everything. When I finally got my meal they served me the wrong cut of steak. So sad.

The brisket is delicious - the ahi tuna wrap scrumptious. Save room for the Italian Lemon cake - it's divine.

Had our appetizer fairly quickly, the zucchini was ok, a little under done on the inside. Waited over 45 minutes for our entrees, and the waitress never checked in on us the whole time. We had empty drinks for probably 15 minutes. The entrees were barely ok. My salmon was a bit mushy and wet, with a lack of seasoning. It was supposed to be honey Dijon glaze, but it had almost none on it. The rice was ok. My wife's haddock was the same. Little flavor. The Cole slaw and the roasted cauliflower were good. Both meals were cold by the time we got them. The waitress, who did not tell us her name, was underwhelming. She only checked on us a couple of times and was not very friendly. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't good. We would try again, but it was definitely a disappointment.

Worth the wait is the my summary of this review. I arrived with my spouse and waited approximately an hour for my other guests to arrive. Two adults and one child. There were plenty of different seating options with a very comfortable welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted by the bartender upon our entry and directed to the options of inside, inside upper porch and outside deck. I love the variety the space offers. Our waitress heather was very accommodating and did not appear to be bothered by the 1 hour late arrival of our additional guests. The cocktail and draft options were plentiful and unique. I got the bourbon fizz, the pumpkin martini, and an apple mule. Let just say the pumpkin martini was scrumptious. I recommended it to my additional guests, all parties tried it and my brother who is not a cocktail fan said it was the best drink he ever had in his life. The bourbon fizz was equally delicious. We ordered the bruschetta crostini which was flavorful and beautifully presented. I had the salmon, while my husband had the brisket which I happily sampled. The salmon had a uniquely fresh flavor palate..... however I experienced food jealousy like no other when I sampled the brisket which melt in my mouth and was easily the best I've ever had. My brother and his spouse were beyond satisfied and stated their food, the buffalo chicken sandwich and hot wings were top notch. Our waitress and an additional waitress were especially attentive to our nephew providing him with stickers and special attention. Definitely a family friendly place with an obvious love for children. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Johnstown area and I can see why some have said it's the best restaurant in Johnstown. The variety of the space, the food, and the overall accommodating service is top notch. I will definitely return and recommend anyone to give it a try.

The atmosphere is really cool! It reminds me of a restaurant that would be in the Boston area. The food is really, really good and the price is not outlandish. The service is also very good. If you are in the area, definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

Whenever we visit Johnstown, we always go to the boulevard Grill. The ambience is great. It's a relaxing yet fun place to grab a bite to eat. My husband loves the potato skins. There are always nice and crunchy and they have a hot sauce. They're called death sauce it's not really that hot but it does have a ton of flavor. We have not yet had a bad server since we've been there. Luke and Julia are awesome. Definitely a must try.
