What a fun experience! You or someone you've known has done the "paint night" thing...well, this is way better and my new favorite crafting place!I signed up a friend and I for a class at Board & Brush. There is a calendar of events and for open project nights you can pick from any of the selections on their website to craft. Each project is priced differently depending on what you choose to do, and after seeing the quality of the pieces I think well worth the cost.Upon arrival, we had aprons and supplies waiting for us. You're encouraged to bring your own snacks and drinks. The staff was super helpful explaining the process for each piece you worked on and came around to help and keep things moving. The stencil part was a little hard but they were there to help and make sure your project came out as expected. There was a wide variety of stains you could choose from for your project and on the walls examples of every color. It was a really fun night and activity. Can't wait to come back and get started on the next one!

I can't say enough about how great of an experience our group had painting our projects! The space is beautiful, clean, and well organized. The staff is super trained...everything moves like clockwork. Mistakes are easily corrected. Advice is constructively given. And all of our projects came out so cute!! I can't wait to go back! I especially appreciated the staff...they were so positive and helpful. I wish I could single each of them out because nearly every one of them helped us in some way! This is perfect for a ladies night or a birthday celebration. While the pace is fast - there is still time for snacks and drinks!! So fun!!

This was so much fun! I am not a creative person what so ever, BUT, they walk you through step by step and guide you. My cousin and aunt both joined me. We enjoyed ourselves, drank beer, and laughed. I will definitely come back!

Unique option for an afternoon or evening out, but reservations required so stencils can be custom cut the day before. Many different stain and paint options to make each project uniquely yours. Attended as part of a bachelorette party, and the hosts had excellent pacing, and were helpful with many of the steps of the projects. Assisted with peeling stencils, advising on colors, techniques etc. You may get a little messy, but this reviewer came away with just a bit of stain around the wrists that was easily washed off. Bring your own food and drink to enjoy while crafting.

First of all, I enjoyed my experience. I had a great time creating something with my loved ones. With that being said, it seemed the staff was rushing us through the entire process. Mainly the individual leading the session. She seemed annoyed that we were taking our time to ensure we were happy with our creations. There were approximately 25 people there. I was the only male In the session, and I was treated differently because of it. Any questions I asked were answered with attitude, or the leader would just grab my project and start doing the next step without explaining my question. Note, we were ahead of their time schedule the entire session, yet they continued to rush us through. I've been told "it all depends on who runs your class" in terms of the experience. Well to the owners of this wonderful facility: it shouldn't have to come down to which staff member is leading the class.

My group had a blast at Board and Brush for a girls night out. We all ended up with beautiful pieces. We brought our own wine and snacks; however, it is fairly fast paced and we didn't have a ton of time to eat. It is generally about 65 dollars for a "pick your project" class. It's the same rate regardless if you pick a small project or a larger one which seemed odd to me. I picked a larger one to make it worth the money. Regardless, I love my sign and had a great time creating it!

This was not at all my best experience at a DIY shop. The staff rushed us through the process and seemed annoyed with our presence the entire three hours we were there. The staff either jumped down your throat to tell you that you were doing something wrong or completely ignored you. When we had questions, the staff seemed annoyed at helping us, even with choosing paint colors and other simple things. I felt rushed through the entire process. One of my friends pieces was even ruined because they didn't let the first coat of paint dry before putting the second stencil on. The staffs solution was to distress the entire piece which my friend was reluctant to do but did just to appease the staff. Any time we can were concerned about something with our pieces the staff told us it would be find or it didn't matter and we could fix it later. However when you ask to fix it later they tell you it's fine how it is. If you want to make a quality piece with helpful staff and have fun, maybe choose another studio.
