Black Sheep Bar and Grill

4 - I'd drive 30 minutes just to come here. (Literally just did it.) skip to the end to see my rating scale.I've been to Black Sheep a few times now and I've walked out happy every time. As usual, the beer selection weighs in heavy for me and theirs is always solid. Nice selection of craft brews on tap every time I've visited. The bartenders are cool and will provide you with samples before you commit to something you're not familiar with. I'd prefer it if they had a couple of truly local breweries to choose from, but the big selection of drafts kinda makes me overlook that nuance.Aside from the beer selection, it's a pretty typical sports bar. The food is really good, both the waitresses and bartenders are friendly, and it's a welcoming atmosphere. Black Sheep is worth a visit if you like good food, a variety of beers, and a casual atmosphere.Rating scale:1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

Black Sheep has been a staple in the Penn-Trafford area for years. They always have a really great selection of beers on draft and will let you sample them. I wish there was a way to see an updated draft list online. Black Sheep has decent food overall. My go-to is their chicken wrap with balasmic or ranch on the side. Their specialty pizzas are tasty too and I can recommend the buffalo chicken and pierogie pie. The service is usually pretty good despite always being crowded. They do have TVs that you can watch sports on. When it's nice outside, they will open the garage doors which is a nice bonus. I would recommend Black Sheep for beer,food, and friends.

Absolutely delicious food every time we come here! Burger was excellent and so was the salad

This bar and grill has pleasant staff and a delicious menu. The first time I went here, the server let me try two beer samples before deciding on which one to order.

This place was just okay. They were super busy Friday night so my friends and I tried to be patient with our waitress who took forever to get our drinks. Once we got the drinks they weren't right. The food was okay, some better than others. My friend's daughter ordered a cheeseburger, which looked like a hockey puck and the kids never got the ice cream they had been promised on the menu. I definitely won't be back.

My daughter lives very close to this place so we have eaten here a few times. This place is excellent. Today we had 5 adults and 5 children. Our poor waitress/bartender was the only one working the room. The poor thing was slammed but she still had an upbeat personality and was an excellent waitress. We have never had a bad meal here. Today we fed these 10 people for under $100. We covered the whole gammit burgers, salads, wraps, pizza, chicken fingers all meals came at the same time and were hot or cold as required. - On another note the person that complained (Emmin M.) about a sign on the door about politics get over it! Get a life! , etc.! Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

This is a place on my list to return to! It's tucked away from the road in a strip mall, and it's easy to miss. But there is plenty of parking and good signage once you actually get into the parking lot. The food was really good! It tasted hot and fresh. We got a burger and fries and pizza hoagie and chips. Both orders were throughly enjoyed. The waitress was very nice and attentive. They have a huge beer list! But only 4 stars because their menu doesn't have huge variety. Although sometimes that's not a bad thing if what is on their menu is good. I would definitely return and try something different!

Bar manager drives people away with her attitude, rest of the staff are great. Foods always been mediocre.

Well sad to leave this review. We've been coming to Black Sheep ever since they were one of the few who stayed open throughout Covid. Tonight 6/15 we stopped in sat at the bar and initially bartender was fine got our food. Somewhere in the middle of our stay we became non-persons. I mean ignored. Literally waved in her face to get our check and even that was an imposition .Sorry to say wont be back. Food is pretty good but not that good

Our family has been coming here for several years, and it's consistently good. The Greek salad, with chicken, is my favorite, but like the chicken sandwich too. Great place to take the kids. My only complaint is that I wish they had some better wine options available and not just Yellow Tail or the overly- sweet Apothic red. I will pay for a glass of Josh or something similar, if available (which it is at another local eatery not too far from here). Otherwise, great place!!!
