One of the best burgers Ive ever had. Just flavor flavor flavor. Tomatoes were ripe and sweet. Burger was savory. Sauce was zesty. Just an all around hit. BLT burger was a banger. Tomato soup killed it. Just incredible. This place is off the charts. Come here if you wanna get the best

Mother and son owners. Salt of the earth. Everything done with love and heart. If I had my ukulele, I'd write a song about this cafe. Their food is amazingly delicious, flavorful and fresh. I absolutely loved my salmon sandwich and delicious salad. We also got a berry smoothie and a lemonade to go. The decor has a lovely vibe. Cozy and country but modern. And their wall of kindness . PAY it Forward wall. It brought tears to my eyes to see how nice folks can be . Folks taking time to donate and be kind. Witness this kindness indeed, written offer to treat a person in need . This brought a tear to my eye... I had to join in and buy ( and fill out the dedication) This is a sweet sweet spot.My heart is full & my tummy too.

The Bittersweet Cafe has so much heart! The owner' son passed away from overdose, and so part of their proceeds go toward helping addicts. There were a lot of encouraging notes and signs all around the cafe. The cafe itself is also super cute. We sat on the wraparound porch, which has a bunch of healthy looking plants everywhere. It felt like a place that's really loved. I got the Bittersweet burger and a blackberry lemonade. The burger has hot pepper jelly on it that made it a little sweet. It wasn't what I expected, but it was still yummy. The lemonade was great. They seemed a bit understaffed though. It was nice taking our time and staying a while. But if you're on a schedule, I wouldn't come during their busy hours. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and would come back to try something else.

Cool space.. but pretty limited menu for breakfast options and the sandwich was overall bland. They provided 2 condiments which I used but still needed something, salt and pepper even.. the price was kind of steep for a sandwich $10 for an English muffin sandwich and nothing else. I think the English muffins were homemade which was appreciated but not something I would return for but was a quick stop as we were passing through. To each their own though! The space was very clean and serene .. nice outdoor seating and landscaping and a sweet shop cat that roams around. The staff were very nice. It may be someone's hidden gem but not my cup of tea.

After hiking in the snow at Ohiopyle all morning with a friend, we decided to get an early dinner here since it had gluten and dairy free options. This place was amazing and is worth going to if in the area! Their lattes are great and the food was delicious! The service was quick the ambiance was great. I really was not expecting this place in ohiopyle since the area is Sialkot just greasy fries and messy burgers but this place was far better and worth the extra drive.

It's a smaller, intimate place. They have a smaller menu (which I prefer) as food is made to order. I haven't had a bad experience yet there and have gone numerous times. They are more of southern style so you can find biscuits & gravy. Never had until at this place & a southern friend of mine said it's good. Food is always hot & if you need small modifications, they got you. They also have a small bakery counter if you just want a pastry. The tables are a bit close but it's to try to get as many people served as possible. It's a place I bring people to regularly.

Great people. Really great coffee - I have the Americano. Beautiful place. Great ambience and wonderful outdoor seating in good weather in mountains. Baked goods are good. Lovely house cat. Visits everyone who pays attention to it. I've only had the sautéed potatoes with hot peppers. It's of very good quality but too hot for me. I'd rather have chives and sweet peppers/carmelized onions. I don't eat meat or dairy. But I want to try the salmon and haven't yet. Will be leaving area but will return later when I move back to my home state of PA. Love these mountains and all areas around the Laurel mountains also.

Tasty sandwiches and soup. Nice atmosphere. Open in the fall so lots of pumpkins and gourds. Breakfast sandwich with ham was delicious and the grilled cheese with bacon was very nice. The tomato soup was hot and flavorful. Will be back when we're all n the area.

Stopped in here for lunch on our way to Fallingwater, I had a BBQ pork which was very good and my daughter had the grilled cheese which she liked very much. What I did not like was having to pay $5+ dollars for an ice tea and then not being able to get a refill without paying an additional $2.50, I have never been in a restaurant where you had to pay for tea refills.
