Bistro To Go Café & Catering

This place is a gem for sure! We got to try their food thru catering in our apt complex and the foood was so gooooood! We got to try their thanksgiving and Christmas catering and both times the food was great! We went and got the to go thanksgiving plates and they were great too!Definitely recommend the mac n cheese and buffalo chicken! Those were my favorite! Also the staff were super friendly and they had a hot chocolate station during thanksgiving and that was one of the best hot chocolates I've ever had! Definitely will be back again!

Bistro to go does not disappoint!!! Amazing & fresh box lunches & salads.The website is very user friendly and theres something for everyone. It's so refreshing to have hearty box lunches and salads that make you feel like you are a rockstar. Everything is always fresh and on point.

The Bistro to go Cafe is AMAZING!!!!!! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had and the best tomato soup I've ever had. Staff were super friendly and kind. I love it here!

Oh my goodness- thank YOU all so much. You have all been so professional, friendly and oh so helpful on the big day. The best gift for me was to be able to enjoy the day with family and guests while you, Laurie, Anita and Patty took care of everything. Thank you! The guests of honor, Michael and Phil, were blown away with how everything turned out and I thank everyone at Bistro to Go for taking care of not only the delicious food but the way it was presented, helping with displaying the decorations and cleanup. The recommendations from BTG for Eventioneers and Bubbly Bartender proved to be wonderful as well. I hope to call on you again for future family events that require a caterer. Bistro to Go catered our wedding and we have been telling everyone about them since. They were incredible! They were friendly, easy to work with and accommodating. The tasting for the wedding was so cool and such a neat experience. Of course, the food itself is amazing! We have received so many compliments and comments on the food even months later. It was definitely some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding and I crave the whipped potatoes daily. I cannot recommend them enough.

Heard good things about bistro to go from some of our friends. We have lived on the Northside for about a year and have seen it several times but never stopped in. We are regretting that choice because it was delicious. My wife and I weren't particularly hungry so we shared the pepper steak. The portion was great for sharing and the sides were good as well. We picked up right around closing and did not get our salad that should have come with our meal. No one said anything about it being sold out, but we did get a dollar or two off our bill, so that may be why? The cornbread was some of the best I've ever had. Typically, cornbread is pretty dry, but this was moist and tasted amazing. The steak was super tender and the sauce it was swimming in was also really good! Everything on the menu looks really good and we wished we were more hungry to try more of it. We will be back though!

Discovering new areas of the city allows you to discover new eateries that you had no clue existed. This, at least to me, is none truer than on the North Side of the city. I hardly ventured there in the years prior. Not because I didn't want to, but because I had no real reason to do so. I have found myself on the North Side more and more recently. How else would I have stumbled upon this gem?Believe it or not we were actually on our way to another spot before we even considered this place. When we arrived there we found that they were not to open for another few hours. But when you are hungry, your stomach doesn't wait. So we had started back to the car and I noticed this spot, if it wasn't for me taking a quick peak at the inside, we probably would have never stepped foot inside here. They captured the whole bistro feel inside here. I noticed that the seating here really didn't match but it gave it a great feel. I also noticed that there was an outside area where you can sit in the warmer months. It's not out front, but it looks like a really cozy area to enjoy a meal.This place is set up kind of like cafeteria style. You can't really tell what will be on the menu until you step inside. It's my understanding that the menu rotates often, so you may never have the same meal twice here. The day that we were here I decided on the Country Chicken with potatoes. This was delicious and I felt like I was having a gourmet meal in the middle of a posh area. The chicken was nicely done and moist. The gravy on it was savory and almost had me licking my plate. The potatoes were more smashed than mashed and as you can see from the picture some of the skins were still mixed in, one of my favorite things.It may sound like an oxymoron, but this was a quick, fancy meal to be having. I was definitely surprised by the quality of food and left here with a full belly. Definitely worth a venture if you want some of the best comfort food the North Side has to offer.

We had thanksgiving catered and everything turned out great! Made everything stress free & very easy to just heat up and serve with plenty of leftovers. We got turkey, mashed potatoes and green bean almandine. The turkey had a nice flavor and was not dry. It came with gravy and cranberry sauce.

Christmas Eve 2024. 1st visit ever to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Sitting in car waiting on husband to return from liquor store & looked up & saw this restaurant. 1st eat in Pittsburgh & they heavenly did not disappoint. I didn't get anyone's name but thank you all for the most amazing customer serve & food. I HAD THE CROISSANT HAM & CHEESE SANDWICH & CRANBERRY SUGARED PECAN SALAD. My husband is a Chiefs fan thru & thru so we came for the STEELERS / CHIEFS CHRISTMAS GAME ALL THE WAY FROM TOLEDO OHIO & THIS PLACE MADE THE VISIT WORTH MY TIME. Can't wait for my next visit end of 2024 or sometime in 2025. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
