Bird On The Run

The chicken sandwich and chicken strips were delicious! I like that they have a variety of sauces to choose from. So far I had the honey bbq, spicy mayo, signature sauce and Korean bbq. They were all delicious! I will definitely go back again.

First time try. When we pulled up, we were able to grab street parking right in front of the building. We were going to dine in so went to the left door as instructed ( right door says it's for take out only) . What was strange was that the dine in/bar side was empty- no bartender/ no customers and it was only around 9:30 ish on a Friday night Since nobody was there... we quickly elected to change doors and get take out. We were greeted then by someone asking if we wanted to dine in or take out ... thought best just to take home. We walked up to a screen to place our order ( that felt a little weird as we were greeted but ok). Order placed and the cook did his thing. Got our meal in prob under 10 min. Now for the food. The fries are good .. the chicken - tasted like it was not seasoned. I got spicy mayo and it tasted like it was poured from a bottle so that went into the trash ( chemical tasting). All in all ... it was a try..

We tried this place out because of the multiple positive reviews. We ordered takeout and despite them missing my 12ct nuggets. When I called, they were more than willing to have us come back. They provided extra sauces and was very apologetic for their mistake. The food was DELICIOUSLY GOOD and we will be returning in the near future. I like that even though they made a mistake, they took accountability and made it up to us. That is what makes a company outshine from the others.

This is my first time here, and I just noticed it. I'm not sure how long it's been open. I met some colleagues here. If you plan to visit, note that it's more of a place for pick-up or delivery. They have three tables inside and a few outside. When you arrive, whether dining in or ordering to go, you use a kiosk to place your order. I found it interesting that their chicken spice levels range from 'not hot' to 'Hot AF'. I received my food within 10 minutes or less, and the price was reasonable--$14.98 for a meal and water, which might be the same or cheaper than Chick-fil-A. However, the fries and chicken were only okay; the flavor was lacking. I chose the bird sauce, but the chicken was just average. Overall, it's not something to rave about.

I live within walking distance (They handful of houses away), so I was hoping for a better experience, but the chicken is just not very good. My partner ordered in person and arrived at my house about a minute later. he had a chicken sandwich and fries, I had the chicken tenders. We also ordered beignets. my partner said that his sandwich was good, I didn't taste it. The chicken tenders were completely flavorless. They also were not crispy. The fries were OK. I could probably eat those again. I might be willing to give this place another try, but I honestly don't want to spend money somewhere that food comes to me with no flavor at all. I used honey dipping sauce and mixed it with Sriracha that I had in the refrigerator and even that didn't really make it better. When you're looking forward to fried chicken, it's a real bummer. When you get some thing that's not crispy and not flavorful. Were also very bland and boring. It was just an unsatisfying meal, sadly.

Bird on the run is the BEST chicken fingers and waffle fries I have ever had. I also love the bird sauce and the spicy mayo. I normally get the chicken fingers at the hot af spice level, but I had to try the RIP level at the mt Lebanon location. SO good. It was very hot, but I love it hot anyways. 10/10. Our waitress did warn me that it is made with Carolina reapers, but I went for it! The inside of the restaurant was cute too - this was the first location where I ate inside. I had to take my friend because she never had it and we had raising cane's the week prior and it was so mid compared to bird, that I had to take her.

Chicken Sandwiches are phenomenal. Eating in is better than takeout. Cheap good drinks. If you eat there they have a good house made spicy ranch. Takeout is Ken's...The service at the bar is over the top. PJ always goes out of his way to make sure everyone feels welcome. They make sure the vibe fits who's there. The one day there was a family in the side portion of seating and they had spongebob playing for them.

We usually go to the Southside location and really enjoy their food. But this location is awesome! Not only was the food as good as it is in Southside but parking was easier, you have an actual server (and she was wonderful!), there's more on the menu, AND THERES A BAR! My niece was a first timer and can't wait to go back for more beignets!

Charged me for a cancelled order and gave me the new one for more money and less food. I wrote ti them about it and they ignored me. Never never again.

I try to focus on positive reviews but out of respect for those seeking a spicy chicken sandwich, I need to say this wasn't it. I ordered an "extra hot" (2 on a scale of 0-5), and the spice was barely noticeable. Maybe they gave me a zero or one level, not sure. But the receipt said "extra hot" and not "barely hot".Also, the beignets were disappointing. They're small and not soft like you find in New Orleans. Not sure I can do any better at home but I'll give it a try.
