I've ordered from "Beyond Parsley" for several occasions. Yesterday, they delivered again for our family reunion. Ordered from the "a la cart" menu, prices fair, food was delicious, on time. Will definitely order from them again for our next occasion.

Used Beyond Parsley Catering for funeral luncheon. The food was good, but their services were a disgrace. The luncheon was to be for twelve noon, however when we arrived nothing was set up. In fact, Beyond Parsley Catering Company was not even at the facility! In addition, the order was placed for 35 guests, Beyond Parsley Catering Company charged the family for 50 guests. We were quite shocked by the bill. Coffee and tea were not provided. They stated that would have been an extra fee. Delivery and set up was an extra charge. Beyond Parsley Catering wanted paid immediately at the luncheon, which caused undue stress because of drastic change in price for the 50 guests that should have been estimated at 35 guests.

Contacting this caterer was such a chore. Anytime I tried to call I either got voicemail or a receptionist who couldn't answer questions. Finally my fiance was able to get in touch with an employee who gave us a quote. We picked what we wanted but opted out of the green bean because they had nuts in them. When we asked what other veggie choices there were they said to call back. I asked if they did tastings, they said the did but it was only a 2 days a month and it was 50.00. I ended up emailing Pat for most of the communication because it was too hard to get someone to answer questions over the phone. We finally got everything worked out and I sent her an email about a week before the wedding to double check everything. She sent an invoice that was 200.00 more than her employee quoted. When I asked her why this was and what her other employee had quoted she seemed to dodge the subject. With a week before the wedding I didn't really have a choice but to have them come, especially since I put down a 300 deposit. So they were booked and supposed to arrive at the reception at 3:45. Around 4:00 my husband gets a call from the driver saying shes lost. She put in the wrong address and when my husband tried to help her she said she thought she was calling her boss and asked who he was, he said he was the client and she hung up on him. This was while we were getting our pictures. After pictured we noticed she finally arrived around 4:20. There was only one person who brought the food and she was a tiny old woman. She needed help from guests to bting food in, and when I went over to her outside she apologized. She then turned to my husband and asked if he was the officiant then said he must work for the building we were renting. I found this blunt accusations a bit annoying and insulting as did he. So the food got set up and she told us extras were in the kitchen. I was talking to guests when she came up to me and shoved the bill at me saying "whos paying the bill" , the guest I was talking to later said she was shocked and appalled that she said that to the bride in front of guests. I took the woman in the kitchen then got my husband because we were both unhappy with the service. He voiced his concerns and she said hed have to talk to the boss. When he said it needed addressed now she pulled out her phone and walked out to call her boss. She came back 10 minutes later saying they'd take 50.00 off. my husband agreed and she replied "that was easy". We just wanted it to be over with. Later we were running low on ham and chicken and it wasn't in the kitchen. We were about to freak out when a guest noticed it was under the already existing trays of open food, not in the kitchen like she had said. Overall the food was ok. We got alot of compliments but I honestly didnt think it was worth the price or hassle. I would not recommend them.

Once again Chef Joe of Beyond Parsley has FAILED to deliver food for a catered event that was planned. This work event was set up and now we have to scramble and figure out something else for our employees. The lack of professionalism is troubling, he has also failed to provide invoices for the last 3 events and just wants to charge us a fee that he has created.

This is one of the best places to get catering pans from. The price is fair! The eggplant parm is great! The sauce is phenomenal and the chicken is good too! We order pans from them all the time.
