Betsy Ann Chocolates

Betsy Ann Chocolates was founded in 1938 by who else but a lady named Betsy Ann. Today, this business continues the tradition of hand-making chocolates and some other candies and sells them through their website, retail stores in a few states, and other organizations' fundraisers. On this Yelp page, the negative reviews were written a few to several years ago, so perhaps a different employee now works at this store. As soon as I entered the store, an employee came out to greet me. She patiently waited while I browsed the assortment of chocolates. I asked her if I could purchase only a couple pieces of each flavor rather than by the pound, and she said yes. My eight pieces of chocolates cost about $11 total. I enjoy their variety of chocolate. I got a box of their Milk chocolate Meltaways. The young lady who waited on me was super friendly. The meltaways were very good.

Best chocolate you'll ever have! The truffles are to die for! Everyone was very attentive and so nice at the factory store. Will definitely be returning

I was staying with my mother for three weeks and noticed they had Betsy Ann chocolate strawberries at the shop and save store. When we were growing up Mom would bring these home from Gambles. Well the chocolate and the liquid center was delicious but in all four berries there was no strawberry, not even a little bite. The liquid center tasted like strawberry though. I must agree when I called about the missing berries the woman was very very rude. She said the berries must have totally dissolved and if you don't like it don't buy them. I wasn't even upset, my mother enjoyed them so much, I thought it might be better to order her fresh ones,if dissolving berries are a problem. She screamed at me don't buy them if you don't like them. Well I didn't.

Just got off the phone with a lady. Very rude. I was asking about their selection of chocolate when she said "I'm with a paying customer" and hung up on me. Would not recommend patronizing a company that won't take the time out to speak with a future customer.
