Bella Christie and Lil' Z's Sweet Boutique

VEGAN DELIGHT!We need a small VEGAN cake to supplement the standard wedding cake at my daughter's upcoming wedding. We sampled several and Bella Christie and Lil' Z's white almond cake with raspberry buttercream filling & vanilla buttercream icing was OUT OF THIS WORLD & 100% VEGAN! Even the non-vegans loved it! We are definitely using them to keep our handful of vegan guests happy when it comes time to serve the cake!My only issue is with their slow response time to emails or phone calls. We almost selected a different bakery because we thought they just didn't have time for us.

It all started with an idea for a cake. I knew I wanted to get a very special cake for my Dad's retirement. It spiraled from there into a whole party, but that's another review. This review is for the amazing and outstanding cake that Belle Christie's made for us. I wanted it to represent my dad more than his retirement, so I chose a vintage record player with the Beatles Abbey Road album. My expectations were exceeded. I was nervous when I saw how beautiful the cake was, that it wouldn't taste good too, but luckily, it tasted as good as it looked. I ordered a white cake with raspberry mousse filling. The icing was smooth and creamy and not too sweet and the raspberry mousse really made it special. The first thing my dad noticed was the Beatles record. He was so impressed. I received so many compliments. I highly recommend!

On my lunch break, between clients, and this Illy Philly's sweet tooth is aching for Bella Christie's Vegan Oatmeal Sandwich Cookie. In Aspinwall, off of Rt. 28, Bella Christies is a beautiful bakery and cafe filled with lovely treats and they make really beautiful and wonderfully unique cakes and desserts. When I walked in the treats were laid out beautifully, as usual, and it just seemed so good. There is a table inside that seats four if you want to enjoy your treat there. I ordered my vegan treats and asked if there was anything else vegan today and she advised it would have to be ordered in advance. It's ok, the oatmeal sandwich cookie is devine and I'm going to enjoy it. I bought two by the way, and if you're in the neighborhood there are also nearby restaurants and bars to enjoy!

The cake that Bella Christie made for my medical school graduation was THE talk of the party. It was made to look like a doctor's white coat and the detailing was spectacular... from the string of pearls, down to the stitching on the pockets of the coat! Not only did it look incredible, but it was so yummy too! The cake was very moist with a delicious raspberry filling. I cannot recommend enough!

This is the CUTEST bake shop!! I've been to the one in Lawrenceville a few times, but this was my first time visiting the one in Aspinwall.***Aspinwall location only one open at this time!I ordered ahead of time. Ordering was very easy over the phone. The woman I spoke to was very nice and helpful! I went to pick up my item Saturday afternoon and added some others to my stash as they had many options available in shop. Staff was very friendly and helpful just as they were on the phone. I got hot cocoa bombs (which are so very cool), delicious chocolate chip cookies, bon bons and a chocolate covered pretzel as well.I thought the price was very affordable compared to how overpriced items can be these days. Definitely check out this bakery and enjoy looking at all their cute, tasty items ready in shop!

The best and cutest. Glad they were able to accommodate vegan and gluten-free. Guests loved the cupcakes. The oatmeal pies and chocolate chip cookies are delish.

It's not great business practice to take weeks to answer a prospective clients email and / or ignore them completely. I've been waiting for a response since July 22 and have followed up twice now.Decided to take my business somewhere that actually answered me and would recommend others do the same. Extremely disappointed as their work looks incredible and I really wanted the best for my sons birthday party.Edited 8/19 to say I STILL have not received a response. Wow. I've seen other people with this issue and I would advise you to avoid this bakery and take your business to someone that actually will work to please you.

I cannot say enough about how delicious our wedding cake was: beautiful, flavorful, sweet without being overbearing, moist, creamy, etc. Our guests rave about the cake, and I am about to order another one for a birthday! We ordered a three later white cake with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream in a naked style (not huge fans of too much frosting) and I have been dreaming about it since! They are kind and great to work with.

10/10 experience from start to finish with this bakery. My custom cake was exactly what I asked for..it was beautiful and absolutely delicious! Recommend the white cake with Bavarian cream and strawberries. Thank you!

I ordered a carnival-themed cake for my daughter's second birthday very last minute. I sent in inspiration pics and did not expect a lot of detail given how late I had ordered. When the cake arrived I couldn't believe what I saw. I love custom cakes and have ordered all kinds from various places and I have never seen one this perfect. It was so beautiful I didn't even want to cut it! Thank you sooooooo much!
