This brewery has some exciting history. The building was built in 1875. The owner purchased and had started renovating in 2015. Purchased the building next year a couple of years later. The owner said that he took a loan out on the brewery 3 weeks before Covid struck. He said they rolled with it the best that they could and thought a couple of times they may have to close up but they survived.I said that I've never heard of this place. He said they do no advertising, stays below the radar and only relies on word of the mouth. We did a flight of 5 beers. Red Ale, IPA, Stout, Orange Blood, Cider. Then sample to quick ones from the tap. I liked the Pale Ale, Stout, and ipa which didn't have as much hippiness as you would expect. The best was the hard cider with bourbon barrel. Damn was it near perfect. The place is absolutely beautiful and historic beyond belief. They had local wine offerings from JD Wine Cellars and Liberty Pole Spirits, along with Red Pump Distillery. The outside looks nice if it was warm out. I look forward to coming back. Beer is good but hands down best authentic theme brewery in western Pennsylvania and we been to them all.

The atmosphere is great here! The bar has a rustic look but it looks quite new. They had a fire going which was great. Good food and drinks, but especially the service was wonderful, super nice and friendly staff. It was too cold to go outside, but the outside area looks nice for when it's warm out.
