OMGOSH the wings are Hugh, flavorful and served with lots of sauce. The place is clean and the owners are great and friendly.

I have not visited the restaurant portion of this place, so this review is strictly for the bar portion -- and that part of the portion is one of my favorite dive bars in the area. The joint has character, and long ties to the small community of Harwick. The current incarnation of "Bear's" was established by two brothers 44 years ago. The hand carved back bar probably goes back to the first bar here, which was probably (?) established between prohibition and mid-century?A big part of the attraction of dive bar lies in the patrons it attracts, and I came here early on a weekday when no one else was there; so any observations on that will have to wait for future visits. But the place has such character that I've already listed it among my favorite PIttsburgh area dives.

Great local pub with incredible chicken wings. Everything on the menu is very affordable. And unlike most restaurants these days, their portions are huge. Our table ordered the wings, cheese balls, the Italian Hoagie, a garden and chicken salad. Everything was fresh, tasty and the portions were very generous. They should call their chicken wings Pterodactyl Wings! We will definitely be back.

Easily one of the most underrated places to eat in all of western PA.My dad loves taking me and my brothers to this place and it has never disappointed before. We always sit in the restaurant area, and not the bar area at the front. Our go to is usually an appetizer of cheese balls, which are very good and wings. The wings are amazing. About as good of wings as you can get. The service is always friendly and the food always tastes great. They also have super good spaghetti on Wednesday's.I highly suggest coming here, you will not regret it.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Servers moved like snails and only came by our table twice in an hour and a half there. Even worse yet was the food. Wet soggy wings, dry crumbly burger. Truly horrible. Save your time and money.

Wings really are that good. Really good. It's your local blue collar valley dive and the crowd and service are as you'd expect. It has "character". The owner told me that his crowd is police and coal miners. Western pa,Right?Anyway, go try the wings. They are 5-star. The atmosphere, service and smell of cigarettes are a 1. Avg=3 stars

I was there on Saturday evening, lots of coal memorabilia. Great wings, large wings full size, large salads with enough dressing for the salad. Great service. I will go back for sure!

The place is very reasonably priced, especially in these times. The wings are a real bargain as they sell full wings and 6 of their full wings (aka 12 wings everywhere else) are about as much as 6 regular wings at other places would be. The wings are the big attraction here and mine were pretty good. I also got a burger which I liked and I got curly fries. Again, this is one of the few places in Pittsburgh that have curly fries, though they weren't the greatest. The staff is very nice and they seem to have a regular base of customers. The restaurant itself is definitely more old school and is more of homemade place instead of a fancy chain. There is a big open area for dining, however it is next to the kitchen. You will smell like food when you are done, so do not wear your best stuff here.I would go back and I had heard that the spaghetti was good.
