I am a Barcelona Stan I will never say a bad thing about the place. The drinks, the food, the amtmosphere , the service. 10/10 everytime. Fun drink hack if you like a salty lil beverage- they have this non alcoholic beverage known as Tea Time! (Earl Grey, blueberry shrub, lemon, honey, froth ) just all around delectable. I add the empress gin as recommended a few visits back by one of the servers and it's truly a magical experience I'll never stray away from.

We had an amazing dining experience at Barcelona Wine Bar! The cozy ambiance was perfect for a December dinner. I came with a large party (10 people), and they accommodated us fantastically. The tapas style was great for sharing as each dish was enough for about 5 people to try a bite. We ended up ordering about 15 different dishes off the menu (two of each to feed our large group), and each dish was fantastic! Some standouts were the swordfish and carrots - but it doesn't seem like you can go wrong with any dish on this menu. We ended the night with a dessert board and some limoncello-cava drinks, both of which were also delicious. In addition to great food, the wine list is (unsurprisingly) amazing! I am a huge wine lover, and I had so much fun looking through the menu and trying a couple of different varietals. While the food and drinks were amazing, the real standout aspect of the meal was the service. Our server was fantastic both with recommendations and personality, and the management team was extremely friendly as well. The pacing was excellent (which is no small feat for a table of 10), and I felt very well taken care of as a guest. I already can't wait to go back!Food: ADrinks: AService: A+Ambiance: A

First time at Barcelona Wine bar! Went with a big group and got too many things to remember. Portion sizes were great for sharing and also there was a good amount of variety from the selections offered. Service was nice, very kind and funny waiter. Overall, would return.

Nice lively atmosphere. I sat at the bar and both bartenders were friendly and helpful. I started with a bartender recommendation- 2022 Asnella white wine from Portugal. Excellent. A lovely Sauvignon blanc type wine with a bit of fizz. 12.50 for 6 oz glass. My friend got an espresso martini- yummmm. Ordered the patatas gravas- amazing potatoes in a very nice sauce. I also tried the mao mao a la planchis but it was a little too fishy for me. The jamon and manchego croquetas are awesome. Ordered the olive oil cake for dessert. Warm, dense and delicious. Overall great service- rich is the best, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place

So unique in the Pittsburgh food scene. This spot isn't like many places here in Pittsburgh. It has a loud but fun vibe with a great wine list by the glass and delicious foods. Would be great for a larger group. The only thing I would say is that make sure your wine is "good". The couple times I've been the red wines tend to be oxidized (meaning they've been opened a bit too long or aren't stored correctly). I'd say order a bottle or don't be afraid to let someone know if it tastes a bit off to you.

My BFF and I stopped in here on Veteran's Day for dinner + wine and loved everything from start to finish. The staff were all polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server helped us with a sparkling wine recommendation and it was exactly what we were looking for (lots of sparkles and dry). We were drooling over the menu options, so we decided to get several small tapas plates vs large plates. We got to try a lot of their dishes and left feeling full, but not bloated. Every bite was a delight and packed with flavor. The cauliflower and Brussels sprouts were crispy and seasoned to perfection, while the scallops and swordfish were tender and fresh. The marinated olives were great to snack on throughout our stay and the house made focaccia was soft and great for soaking up the extra olive marinade. Our server helped us decide between the chocolate cake and the basque cheesecake for dessert (cheesecake won out) and it was the perfect end of night treat that wasn't sickly sweet. It came with some spiced apples and it was really well-balanced. If I ever find myself back in Pittsburgh I will definitely be stopping in here again!

Went here with one of my friends awhile back and we LOVED it! We tried a bunch of small plates and there wasn't 1 single thing I didn't like. Some things I loved! Like the chicken thighs, and the meat and cheese charcuterie selection. The wine was delicious. They have a huge long wine list with tons of options for everyone. I tried at least 3 and all were good. The service was excellent. I need to get back here soon!

Is this place expensive? Yes! But is it a fun experience worth every single penny? Absolutely yes! I met up with a few of my friends here and I still think about that tiny little chicken thigh that was packed with so much flavor. It wasn't dried out and I could probably eat three of them. Do not come to this place super hungry as it's going to eat a hole in your pockets. The menu is a quite the novel but that means if you can't find something that you like on it, that's a you problem. The crepes were light and fluffy and everything that they needed to be after all the food and the wine. The experience ended with the bartender standing on top of the bar and pouring alcohol into peoples' mouth while the crowd cheered them on. I will definitely return for the vibes and the food.

We ended up here on a walking tour of downtown and boy am I glad we did. I had never heard of this place and honestly wine isn't my thing but they served us an incredible Sangria and small plate with croquetas, empanadas, and rice with veggies. So good and I can not wait to go back for the full dining experience!

My top pick. Came here as a round 2 with my girlfriend and easily this is our favorite place in Pittsburgh. New to wine and the waiter took such good care of us, giving us wonderful recommendations and talking with us. Had a beautiful table outside bc me and gf like to talk and prefer the peace but inside is much more vibrant loud if thats ur vibe. Patatas bravas was delicious and also amazing day after in the air fryer. Delicious wine, beautiful ambience, had one of the best talks of our relationship just sipping on wine and chatting here. Very very very highly recommend. We want to be regulars here.
