Bali Moon Sushi and Ramen Bar

If you think you can't get wonderful sushi and Asian fusion cooking in SW PA this place will prove you wrong. The tuna poke bowl was fresh and well seasoned with high quality ahi tuna and produce. The haru maki were perfectly crisp and flavorful. I also enjoyed the Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Avocado Roll. All were well made, fresh, and delicious. Top it off with a Thai Iced Tea! Make this your go to place in Connellsville!

Perfectly understandable to figure out your kinks in the early days of opening, but our service and food were both pretty egregiously bad out of the gate here. While I know it's hot out, the wall air conditioning isn't keeping up and I was sweating through my whole meal.The kitchen clearly has issues right now, food is coming out of order... I got my ramen 30 minutes before my sushi but no one else got their food. The wait staff is running around apologizing to everyone but they aren't trained on how to use their ordering system, what each food is and how to deal with these types of situations.I had the Tonkotsu ramen which unfortunately was the most bland ramen I've ever had in my life. The sushi was fine, but after being here for almost 2 hours I don't think I'd ever come back other than maybe take out.I'd recommend the owner bring in the staff to work through some things and work a bit on their logistics and training.

We entered the building shortly after opening at 12:15 PM and were immediately greeted by a smiling face and a gesture to be seated by our server. The service from the staff was exactly as we'd hoped for a new spot, warm and inviting, also attentive.The sushi rolls were very high quality, gorgeous, and most importantly, fresh fish and vegetables. The prices for the sushi match middle- higher end establishments in the Pittsburgh region, but the sushi is also certainly a step above what you'll find at other local sushi spots such as Shogun and Lins Fusion in Uniontown. To be clear, the sushi seems and feels to be a higher quality product than these other establishments.For the starters, they tasted really nice and fresh, crispy and hot. The side sauce is a loose vinegar based sauce that would benefit from perhaps a bit of corn starch to help it stick, but the acidity cuts right through the creamy Rangoons and the Spring rolls, tasty. Though here is the short coming, and that is the price of the starters. I understand what they are trying to be, but at $7 starter and the Haru Maki coming in at 3 spring rolls smaller than your average glue stick, the price point is way off and will certainly deter any locals from buying them more than twice. They should be targeting a $3-4 price for the Haru Maki, and a $3-5 for the Rangoons as well. I will return, but only specifically for sushi rolls or to try their ramen, once they get their processes nailed down.

Really great sushi, loved every one of the rolls we tried and we tried almost all of them. Service was great as well. Will definitely be back. So glad to have this new jewel in our local area :-)

Greeted and seated right away, very clean and comfortable albeit quiet (need some music) staff very nice and prompt. Sushi was good, on par with costs in Uniontown area. Appetizers quick and tastefully crafted. Ramen was ok it was missing something, I couldn't put my finger on it right away. It needed more umami so I added a couple dashes of soy sauce and it made it very flavorful! Ive had ramen in many places it usually also has some chili paste often fermented chilies, in the middle but isn't a deal breaker. We will definitely be back! Also the pork belly in the ramen was perfect!!!

I've eaten here three times now and it never disappoints. I try new things each time I go and enjoyed everything so far. And the service has always been pleasant and thorough. I need more sushi eating friends to go more often.

Their service is attentive, extremely kind and checks in often (almost a little too often lol but I do like my personal space ‍). The waiter that I had appeared a little anxious but he was super nice and doing his best to be attentive.The sushi was great. Flavorful and fresh. It's a little on the higher end with their prices. I'm not sure if they realize they're in Connellsville and not Pittsburgh but it's not so expensive to where I won't be back. I'll probably just stick to the Sushi though, because their Ramen is extremely bland. There's barely any flavor. We tried both vegetable and Miso and both tasted the same and both were extremely bland. I probably won't order the Ramen anymore. Crab Rangoons were a great appetizer, had a decent amount of filling and flavorful. Not overly fried which is a plus. We also tried the general tso's. I also liked how it wasn't overly breaded and fried. You could tell it was actually chicken and not some mystery meat. It came with white rice and fresh, steamed broccoli. They don't have fried rice though which I thought was weird and a little disappointing considering they have fried rice out at the hibachi truck next door but again -- not enough to deter me from coming back and ordering the dish again. Price wise: the simple sushi rolls were about $6/$7 ;; the more fancier sushi rolls you're looking at $12/$15 ;; Ramen was $15 ;; General Tso's I think was also around $15 ;; I can't remember what the Crab Rangoons were. Be prepared to spend money lol but overall it was a pleasant experience and we'll be coming back :)

I was really excited about Bali opening for sushi. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst sushi restaurants I've been to and I've eaten my fair share. The sushi was mushy and lacked flavor and the miso soup was the worst I've ever had. Packetized miso soup is significantly higher quality. I cannot fathom how awful their ramen must be.I ordered to go and it took approximately twice as long as expected. With their lack of organization they need to either focus on quality in house or pump out to go orders.

Food was so awesome and came quick. Colin's review was incredibly selfish and negative. Service was unbelievable. They were polite and respectful. The vibe gave you time with your thoughts. All around A+
