FOODBae's Bahn Mi Sandwich with Roasted BBQ Pork and Spicy Mayo - the bbq pork is cooked well and seasoned nicely. The pickled vegetables are pretty on point and it's pretty representative of Vietnamese sandwiches. I like the twist with the spicy Mayo which adds flavor to the sandwich. Bread is on the softer/chewier side. VIBESIt's a pretty small place with a handful of tables for sitting. I think the decorations are really cute with the glass lighting as well as the books and lanterns that are hanging. SERVICEIt's probably 30 minutes for the sandwich to come out, so the service is on the slow side, but they apologized for the wait. Overall, Staff is pretty friendly and to order using a QR code from your phone.

Super cute! We went on a Saturday morning around Noon. It was around the corner from our hotel. The iced coffee with strawberry milk and the peanut butter banana smoothie with almond milk were so good! It did take about 15 minutes to get our breakfast sandwiches. It was fairly busy, maybe 10 people inside and 2 working. Other than the wait, the sandwiches we got were really good! Bacon egg and cheese on a baguette and chicken egg and cheese on a croissant. They also had an assortment of food, snacks and clothing. Staff was very kind. 4 doors down from Bae Bae's kitchen.

I really really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I only have sad things to say about their boba drinks. Their taro milk tea was clearly made from artificial mixes; taro flavors were not authentic at all. Their boba was not only undercooked so it was hard in the middle, but also flavorless (no sweetness or even the tapioca taste). My sip of my friend's classic milk tea gave me a similar experience. Watered down milk tea that neither had milk nor tea flavors unfortunately :( I do appreciate how they have alternative milk options but other than that, it was just not a good experience. Gave it an extra star because they have a cute decor and Asian snacks, plus the servers were nice and I wanted to support API restaurants. Might try their snacks later on, but definitely not their boba :/

No better feeling than sitting in a great cafe in the middle of the city. I think Bae Bae's cafe is one of the hidden gems of downtown Pittsburgh. I haven't been in a while so I had to drop in to get a taste of nostalgia. I'm a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich, and you get just that (and more) when you visit the cafe. Bae Bae's kitchen sister store offers delectable sandwiches, teas, and of course smoothies. Staff is all around pleasant to talk to which matches the laid back vibes here. Always pleased to start my day here.

Adorable little shop. Seriously, I'd come in just to stare at the decor. They have these whimsical umbrella ceiling displays that are so charming. They also have a wall with shelves of Asian snacks including chips, ramen, and candy. I didn't try their actual beverages so I can't really attest to that but their veggie banh mi sandwich kinda sucked tbh so that's why I knocked off a point. It was not authentic at all, doesn't even look anything like a banh mi. I'll still come back to grab a coffee next time though.

Already patrons of their main location several times over finally decided to check out this more brunchy/small bites spot. Have tried the taro, Thai tea, and smoothies. Would say the taro would be one of the best. The Thai tea tends to be milked down. The smoothies are your standard good. Highly recommend trying the scallion pancakes. We had the Vietnamese lemongrass chicken and the pork belly. Great portion of meat & veggie filling, and fantastic for on-the-go. Great balance of savory and sweet paired with flaky flatbread. Good quick spot to go to for cafe/lighter fare.

The ambiance is peaceful amidst a bustling city. There is seating at front of restaurant that has an open window to the street where you can people watch. It was close to our hotel so was our go to spot while we were in town for a volleyball tournament. Food is made to order so it's fresh, not warming under a light before you get it. Menu is viewed by scanning a QR code. They also have cute Asian food finds as well as a great ramen assortment. Reasonably priced.

Mid. Service is SLOW. One person working. She asked me to order online instead of taking my order which has extra charges. Then I waited for a drink and sandwich for 25 minutes. All that would have been fine if the food didn't look just okay and didn't have to watch ppl who came after me get served well before. Waited another 5 minutes, asked for an update and got treated poorly. I asked to cancel my order which had not been stared. Then waited another 5. This place is a miss.
