Bad To The Bone BBQ & More

Seen sign 19.99 so I thought I'd try it again. 3rd visit. Best thing about this place hands down is the couple waitresses I've dealt with. Very pleasant and very helpful. That's the best part. Now the not so good. I try to drama to a minimum. First order I had ribs (2), chicken wings (4), pulled pork, baked potato and macaroni salad. Having lived and worked in the south for many years as well as owning a couple bar and grille joints I am quite familiar with bbq. The 2 ribs had zero taste and were dry and pretty chewy. The only ribs I've ever had worse than these ironically was in another local self proclaimed come git ya some bbq pretender place in Greenville, Pa. Ribs were borderline horrible. Chicken wings for a fact were pre cooked and old out of pure laziness. No other reason. Barely warm, dried out from sitting for a long period and loaded with sauce to cover up the evidence. Nothing to debate here. Factual. Pulled pork was greasy moist but edible. Macaroni salad was okay. Sadly the best thing thst was actually excellent was the baked potato. Perfectly cooked. Guess it's hard to mess up a potato. Sweet tea was just made and it was excellent as well. Tasted like tea. Not watered down and didn't have 10 pounds of sugar in it. Waitress said she made it. KUDOS. Maybe the waitress could work in the kitchen and teach them how to cook. Sincerely. Don't know what part it was but in full disclosure I went to the bathroom before paying the bill and gave all that food back to the porcelain gods. Wasn't optional. And yet all I see on Fakebook is support local, support local, support local. I paid the $24 bill and left a $5 tip for the waitress. Not her fault. Didn't say anything. I just won't be back and I stand by my prediction over a year ago this place is not going to survive. And to Bad to Da Bone owners, do you ever wonder why there is 2-4 people there at dinner time on most any give day? FYI I hear rumblings in the community and many echo the same sentiments as myself. I'm sure you are nice people and run it how you want but might be a good thought to hire someone in the kitchen thst actually knows how to produce good bbq and not a short order diner cook that tosses a chicken and some ribs in a cook shack and call it a day. Hell your guy can't even turn out consistent fresh wings... Truth. Good luck.

Ordered food today and it was not a good experience. My girlfriend was given the wrong food when she picked it up. For 15 minutes I tried to call but it went straight to voice-mail. Finally got through and they asked me to bring the food back. For what? So they can resell it? I was going to keep the food I paid for but I still wanted the food I ordered. The food we received was not where close to what we ordered. She said she would have the owner call me right back. Nobody ever did. So instead of a couple entrees and lunch for work tomorrow we got a bunch of sides and appitizers. Most of which we had to eat but I would never order again. Had a bad experience when they first opened but I wanted to try them again. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Stumbled upon a Facebook post detailing their specials and decided to give this place a try. Best decision ever! The food is so great, and portions are HUGE! The staff is always attentive and kind, the sauces are amazing, and they have daily specials. I highly recommend any of the potatoes (trust me) or wings! Seems like they had some bumps when they first opened per other reviews, but I love it here and I'm super picky about my BBQ!

We enjoyed lunch today at the bad to the bone BBQ and it was excellent. Our server was very prompt, friendly and had a sunny attitude despite having to wear a face mask. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had for the brisket sliders. The side included french fries that were delicious, or salad or cole slaw. Try to chocolate sheet cake. This restaurant was a great value for the money.

Great service! Great food! Great Texas cooking! It's was amazing! The food potions were big! Pricing is decent! All around a great little place! Will Definitely be going back!

We initially walked in, and was told to pick a seat by our waitress. After about 15 minutes, she came to us. Took our drink orders and left. Half of what we initially wanted to order, they didn't have. I ended up ordering the Bad to the bone sandwich with chips, I initially wanted the ribs, until I found out that it's at random whether or not they'll be pork or beef. This time they happened to be pork ,so I passed and my lady ordered them with fries and green beans. My kids both ordered pulled pork sandwich's and fries. My food was good, I had no complaints. My wife's ribs were so Cajun spicy that she couldn't eat them. They come out with the bbq on the side. She said the beans weren't very good and mushy as well. My kids age (15 & 17) both didn't eat much but the fries as the meat was loaded with fat. All of our fried potato products tasted like onions, I didn't mind but everyone noticed. We got a to go order for our friend and it was the first thing she noticed. Her food was ordered take out, we distinctly told them exactly what she wanted on her cheeseburger and they noted on the receipt to leave those things off. So the exact opposite of what we ordered. My son initially wanted Pepsi, upon taking refill orders he changed to root beer. His root beer tasted like Pepsi, like she just added to the Pepsi that was left in the glass and brought it to him. We still left the waitress $5 tip.

First time coming here and I would definitely recommend this place. I ordered the ribs and it came with two sides so I decided on the baked beans and greens. Everything was amazing!!! I actually could not eat all my food so I took it home for leftovers. The portioning size is well worth the money. The waitress was friendly and was very attentive to our needs. (good Job). The place was nice and clean. Will definitely be back.

Ordered first time ever today due to normal go to being closed. I was not disappointed and will definitely be ordering again in future. From the first bite to last they had it. Food was beyond great and well priced.

At this time I would not go back. Had to wait 15 to get water, 30 or more minutes to have order taken and another hour on top of that to get food. Smoked pork was good but barley warm as was my Mac n Cheese. Seemed very disorganized and food was not worth the wait. Hopefully they get their challenges worked out.
