Bad Azz BBQ

I stopped here with my parents at their location on Brownsville road on Friday. I drive past it everyday on my way home I thought it was time to check it out. I got a brisket sandwich and coleslaw. I thought both were really good! The only downside they have here is there's no beer lol the menu is limited but I found the food to be good and I'd try it again. The service was also very friendly.

They may buy all of their food from Cosco, but they select the best chicken and corn bread I have had in a while, haha. I did not know about that until after I ate here, but it all tasted good to me. I guess with a name that is mis-spelled and is a swear word I wouldn't expect them to be polite, have good manners, or customer service. They were o.k. I just wish that they made their food instead of buying it from Cosco, that is pretty messed up.

Decided to try Bad Azz while I was at USC Rotary Farmer's Market. I decided to grab the pulled pork sandwich with the baked beans. The sandwich came pre sauced and was a good portion. The baked beans were also a good portion and an additional charge.As a BBQ affecianado I've been looking for a spot in town. Bad Azz fell a little flat. The pork was tender but I didn't get any of the smokey wood flavor. The sandwich was presauced. The sauce was sweet and not bad but I prefer a tangy vinegar based sauce with some heat.The baked beans were flawless. A good amount of sauce and nice mix of beans.Overall it wasn't horrible just not what I expected after seeing their set up and smelling the wood as soon as I arrived.

My fiancé and I stopped by during rib fest to try their food for the first time with high hopes. It was nice to see so many women behind the counter and knowing it's a Pittsburgh company, we were intrigued! Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. Not only were the ribs barely warm and mushy, but they were also covered in COLD sauce which made them even more unappealing. Really wanted to love them, but we forced ourselves to eat a few bites then threw it out. It was by far the worst ribs we tried out of 3 different places at rib fest. We hate to waste money like that when we don't have money to waste.

Was were at a Farmers Market and BAzz had a stand, so we decided to not cook and take some home. We had a whole chicken, 1/2 rack of ribs and some Mac & Cheese. The chicken is large. Larger then most places and very tasty with some smoke flavor. They put a little of the sauce on top, but I wish there was a tad more sauce. The ribs were tender and good. The Mac & Cheese has a little sharper cheese, which I prefer. All in all, a good dinner and lots of leftovers.

I would stay away from this place. I've had it before and it was a terrible excuse for bbq. The food was dry and was not flavorful like true bbq. They also buy pre cooked food at Costco and re sell it, which is both hilarious and infuriating.

Horrible, horrible food!!How can you call it the best!?!?!The ribs were so TINY!! Literally we got 3 bones with very little meat on them.. Their chicken was way overdone, the dog wouldn't even eat it. The beans were from a can and the Mac and cheese tasted frozen. We spent A LOT of money there today and we are totally disgusted!! Save your money!!

This shouldn't be called barbecue. I've had hungry man tv dinners that taste better than this food. This is the applebees equivalent to bbq. They take precooked chicken from costco and pretend like they cook it themselves. This chicken is no smoked. They douse it with mediocre sauce and pretend like they did anything. This place is a sham and you should stay far away.

Bad Azz BBQ is not bbq they do not grill or smoked there meat most of there food is store bought from Costco rotisserie chicken and Mac & cheese etc I would have gave Bad Azz BBQ no stars for false advertisement this place isBAD for BBQ For all customers save your money and stay away

I received a coupon in the mail that said $25 off order $40 or more. So we thought thats a great incentive to try the bbq. When I tried to redeem the coupon I was advised that coupon should have said for catering. It was not honored but she did give me $10 which was the regular coupon. I could have just walked away but I decided to purchase the food anyway. I am not happy the coupon wasn't honored since I believe these advertisements are proof read and was sent out with the error on it. My husband believes this was a stunt.
