Bacon, Bourbon & Beer

Food was all really solid. If there was a negative, it was that the breakfast potatoes were on the salty side. Service was impeccable!! I expected a bit of a delay from the kitchen since we got there just as they were opening, but everything came out quickly, and our server (I forgot her name) was stellar! We will definitely add this to our places to visit next time in Morgantown.

Stopped here for lunch. Was not very busy surprisingly. Service was prompt and friendly. They appear to have a well stocked bar as the name implies. I had a turkey club with fries. Very good, would definitely get again. I suspect most of their sandwiches are pretty good. Their ranch and blue cheese also very good. The steak salad was pretty good as well. Food prices were reasonable for what you get. I would definitely go back.

On our way to Columbus, my parents and I stopped by Bacon, Bourbon, and Beer in Morgantown for lunch. For lunch, they serve warm appetizers, soup, salads with homemade dressings, handhelds, burgers, sides, and dessert.Our server Brittany was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. None of us got bourbon or beer. My mom and I had Arnold Palmer's. For appetizers, we shared an order of Fried Pickles, which consisted of five beer battered pickle spears dusted with parmesan cheese and fresh herbs and served with a tangy Sun-Dried Tomato Aioli. My dad had the B3 Smash Burger, which consisted of a beef patty topped with applewood smoked bacon, grilled onions, american cheese, B3 burger sauce, served on a toasted bun. It was tasty! My mom had the Strawberry Fields Salad with a few modifications - no red onions and white cheddar instead of bleu cheese. The Strawberry Fields Salad consisted of mixed greens, fresh strawberries, bourbon soaked bacon bites, candied walnuts, white cheddar, and strawberry vinaigrette on the side. I enjoyed the Norwegian Salmon Salad, which consisted of mixed greens, tomatoes, candied walnuts, pickled pears, white cheddar (instead of goat cheese), maple bourbon glazed salmon, and strawberry vinaigrette on the side. The Maple Bourbon Glazed Salmon would make a great entree on its own!

We arrived without reservations ... but WVU stadium was evacuated for weather. Guessing we arrived before everyone else. Great location. Lots of parking. The drink menu recommended the Blueberry Smash for the first timer bourbon drinker. Great choice. Fruity with a kick. Then we went with the bacon wrapped mozzarella. It came out. The cheese was ooey gooey with a thick cut piece of bacon wrapped around it. The white cheddar cheese soup - I only ordered a cup. I should have just kept ordering bowls. It had a small piece of toast with bacon on top floating on the soup. It was cheesy delicious. The BLT and turkey club were large portions. Definitely on the return to list. Best thing we heard - there is a location in Pittsburgh @ PPG Paints arena where TGIF was.

Stopped in for early dinner and a couple drinks. Ordered a burger and mac and cheese to split. Both were fantastic! Best Mac and cheese I think we've had at a restaurant in town, so big points for that. Service was great as well.

Great selection of Bourbon. I sat at the bar and the bar tender was very nice and answered all my questions. It was a quiet evening so no issue with noise. The prices are high as others have stated.

Wow, just wow. Service was great, salad and main course was great, but the she-crab soup was the best I have ever had--I even ordered a second bowl! I live close to the coast line so I always order she-crab soup. This was all within a stones through of the crab shack!

Passing through and loved this find. Food is okay but drinks are amazing! Definitely would come back again.

Don't get me wrong... the food was pretty good (club sandwich and fries) , but the beer prices are out of this world! Crazy expensive. A 12 oz beer should NOT cost $10... no matter how good it is. Especially in a small town. Or maybe that's the reason? The only place serving specialty beers? In any case, I gave it a shot. Won't be back.
