Backdraft Bar and Grill

This is a great neighborhood bar. We love their food and like the fact that our kids are also welcome here for lunch/dinner. They do have a 9pm kids out rule. Sometimes it can take a while for your food but it's worth it.

Local bar that's good for cheap drinks in a casual atmosphere. It's definitely more of a dive bar, but the staff is always great and friendly. The bar area has a few large tvs playing various sports, but they're at odd angles, so it's hard to see unless you're sitting at the bar. The good thing is, there's tvs in the corners of the bar too for better viewing from tables, they're just smaller. They also have traditional bar food available on their menu, including burgers, subs, and wings. I ordered the chicken ranch sandwich and it was good, but nothing special. My chicken patty was thin and fried, so it was mainly breading and a bit chewy, plus the sauce tasted like just bottled basic ranch poured on top. The fries that came on the side were good and seasoned nicely with salt and pepper. Overall, a decent meal and experience given the cheap price. It's a good place to hang with friends for a few drinks.

Rating this short of 5 stars would be incorrect. Everything on their menu is affordable and a reason that my family and I go here frequently. Not only is it affordable, but it is delicious and high quality. They don't cheat you on portions for all that they give you and the daily specials are generous for the price and amount that you get. This is one place that caters to the blue collar worker and understands the pain of inflation and instead of jacking up their prices they choose to continue to be affordable. The staff are all extremely friendly. I have tried about 3/4 of the menu and everything I have tried so far I would highly recommend. Simply put, they don't miss.

Really cool place, great staff, good food. Good selection of liquors. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and really nice to look at.

We stopped in after a trip to the waterfront for a drink , which the drink and service was very good , then we found out it was burger night , so we tried it , we were not disappointed at all , had a great time , thanks for great service again !

Just your typical bar with regular bar food. Nothing special, but a great place to grab a quick bite to eat with the kids. Very affordable! I ordered the chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and it was delicious!

A multitude of draft beers to choose from and great daily specials. Their Italian hoagies are super good and so are the hot wings!

Props to Backdraft for being open during this Covid19 crisis, gotta give them an extra for that. Once the quarantine hit and our fav place for wings closed (The Loose Moose) we had no place to get really good wings. Then we found this place... and we checked out the menu... then we saw similarities between this and The Loose Moose menu... a phone call later and it's confirmed... Backdraft & the Loose Moose are owned by the same guy. We ordered a Moose burger- 1/2 pound of meat and a built it yourself style and it was delicious. Also ordered the whole Philly Steak with everything and half did me in, the other half was tomorrow's lunch. And we had to try the wings so we added a dozen of them. Fantastic....! I jumped ahead of myself because I asked the bartender/server about the similarities and she confirmed it... She also said that's The Loose Moose was opening for take out also...! Bam, just like that, this 'corn teen' bullshit' is manageable...! Thank You Backdraft / Loose Moose...!!!

As a fellow service industry employee I never imagined myself writing a bad review online but my experience has been the exception! I tried to complain to the owner but have not heard back from him. Saturday night I joined a gathering of people to spend a Saturday night out. Both the manager Gina and the bartender were not very friendly nor attentive and seemed to avoid us every time we walked up to the bar. I discovered Gina was very rude and unfriendly to not only us but most customers. Towards the end of the night I witnessed Gina and her bartender (the blonde ) yelling at a group of young girls as they were leaving the bar yelling bye fat ass, bye four eyes, bye flat ass. Soon after Gina the manager began closing the bar throwing chairs around slamming them and yelling all you mother fuckers get out! I can't believe this is the way this business treats their customers!?! I then left the bar and went to my sisters where I discovered my brand new iPhone 15 plus was missing but luckily for me I had the FindMy app and seen I left it at the bar so figured I'd just pick it up in the morning. Next day went to retrieve my phone and it's no where to be found and I told them I knew it was there because I have the app. Gina had a smirk as I walked around looking for my property and said she was busy and didn't have time to look for it. After several attempts of myself and friends coming to look for my phone with no luck, I discovered how to make my phone ping and heard it coming from the roof where it was found by the fire department. After speaking to someone I was with that night before I discovered they told Gina's coworker that she is sorry she has to work with such a bitch. I believe after closing the girls found my phone and Gina either stole it and figured out I could locate it and threw it on the roof or did it because I was with someone who called her a bitch to her coworker. I had nothing to do with the situation and zero reason to retaliate by stealing and damaging my property! I would like the video surveillance to be reviewed from that night because I truly believe it was the manager! So if you're thinking about coming to this bar watch your belongings and prepare yourself to be treated and spoke to like a dog when you're supporting the business and tipping!
