Athens Family Restaurant

I don't know which to rave about - the outstanding food or the exceptional service. We never miss the chance to visit Athens when we're in Beaver Falls. The egg-cheese-sausage-bagel breakfast sandwich is the best I've ever had. If they ever open a satellite location in my Boston suburb neighborhood I'll be their best customer! Sorry, no photos.

Love the food AND THE PRICE!Since retiring, my brother and I have a weekly standing for trying a different breakfast place each week. He had visited Athens before, but I had not. I think this was my favorite so far. Food is good... it came just the way I requested it. I was a little jealous when I saw my brothers Taco omelet (looked so good!), and will probably order that when I come back to have my husband experience this place, because I'll definitely be back! Last, the prices were very affordable!

The food was amazing!! We ordered the fish sandwich and also an order of Perch, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The fish sandwich reminded me of how my mother used to make her fish!!! The old school way is how their fish taste to me!!!!The service is always quick and fast!! And the ambiance ice great, all you see is people sitting together having a meal, having those long conversations!!! And the waitresses and cooks are the greatest!! They are always smiling and they truly know their customers!!!!

The staff was sweet. The Coffee kept coming and the waitress was very attentive. One waitress caught my attention. She was the owner's Granddaughter. As customers were coming in and out. The young girl wax cleaning tables and helping out as fast as the customers were coming in. The food was delicious and the portions were generous for the price.

If you love Greek food, this is your place! They also serve non-Greek dinners as well! Me and my family visited today after church and we loved our meal and the service was fantastic as well! My husband had a sweet tea, our daughter had a lemonade and I had a mix of the two for an Arnold Palmer. Me and my husband both wanted a bowl of their homemade wedding soup (it was absolutely delicious!). My husband got the gyro platter which came with slices of gyro meat, pita bread, tzatziki sauce, tiropita, spanakopita, grapeleaves, lettuce , tomatoes and onions. I had a grilled chicken salad with added gyro meat, which had cheese, French fries and I had the lemon oil dressing it comes with it (amazing!)Our daughter had a chocolate chip pancake, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and toast. She nibbled on the soup, grapeleaves and gyro meat and all of us took home 4 boxes of leftovers because we couldn't finish the delicious food. I also know the wonderful Apostolis family that owns this restaurant and we love their family - they are hardworking and incredibly down to earth and kind. We highly recommend you visit this place to dine - you'll leave with a full tummy, leftovers no doubt and the prices are very affordable. There's a beautiful mural on the one wall of the restaurant of the Acropolis in Athens which adds to its cozy ambiance as well. I know Greek food and good food generally speaking and this place is where it's at! I forgot to take pics but will update my review for the next time we visit!

This is definitely a happy follow up... today I stopped back at a great local family restaurant for their M-Th Meatloaf sandwich special and I am glad I did. Moist meatloaf with homemade mashed potatoes covered in a dark rich gravy for $5.50! You just can't beat it, Aloha

Unbelievable! Here we are in tiny Beaver Falls, pa.We discovered an absolutely delicious Resturant. ,Athens Family Resturant, with one of best servers anywhere, Marina A..The food was great. Their bacon cheeseburger was huge and delicious .9One reason is that it was made with 90/10 beef. I also had the beef vegetable that ate like stew.WHAT A FIND!Go see them!

Breakfast is always spot on and I have never had a bad dinner here. The wait staff are all friendly and personable. The atmosphere is a typical diner look from Athens. All together always a good experience

Great service! And price, we got seven things for only $50! Highly recommend! Great family owned restaurant.
