Asuka Japanese Cuisine

Asuka is a casual restaurant that serves Japanese food. Currently, they are open for lunch and dinner everyday of the week. Appetizers and entrees include soups, salads, tempura, ramen, lots of sushi, teriyaki, hibachi, etcetera. Beverages include a selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Prices are average.My husband and I walked into this restaurant during a busy time, but the employees still promptly seated us in a nice private room. The waitress was friendly, and she promptly took our order and brought out our drinks. Later on, she got busy with other customers, so a different employee kindly gave us drink refills and cleared our table. As for the drinks and food: My husband said that his tea was way too strong. The sides of soup and salad were good. My crab rangoon contained lots of cream cheese and was OK compared to other restaurants' crab rangoon. My vegetable hibachi consisted of fresh and flavorful broccoli, carrots, onions, zucchini, and mushrooms. My husband said that his Phoenix tuna sushi and his steak hibachi were good. On the side were fried rice and noodles.

First time at this place. Hibachi. It was a lot of fun. The wait was not too bad and the soup and salad were very good. I got the Teriyaki chicken and fried rice. The show was very cool to watch also, our chef was a lot of fun and was very interactive. We got this volcano drink. It was Delicious. It was a strong drink but very fruity and on fire. They were also very considerate to us. My Mom has an allergy to seafood so they cooked her chicken separately. Aside from all of that, I highly recommend this place, the food tasted great and it was a lot of fun.

5 STARS!!!!! 100/10 THE BEST SUSHI EVER. The staff is great too. Definitely not the nicest place inside but it is clean & the food is great. If you're looking for great sushi & hibachi look no further. WE LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!! Shrimp tempura roll, spicy crab roll add crunch inside, California roll, shrimp sushi, the best ever. Omg & my bf is obsessed with the noodles !!!!!!! I love the rice with the yum yum sauce.

Delicious food and great service. Went with a small group on a weekday. Wasn't busy at all. Got us in and out.

Atmosphere is what you would expect with any other hibachi and seafood spot. Customer service was ok for the most part. Got the chicken hibachi was served with pretty small portions for the price paid and it awkwardly tasted a lot better as it got cold. Middle of the road spot for me.

Food was just okay. Filet should have been more tender. I do like that you get rice and noodles with their hibachi.

Food was amazing been going 2 a month for a couple months now and it's been twice now that the service has asked for more money aka a tip....

Sorry but had to take this place off our Favorite list. Food has been terrible last 2 times we were there. We normally are a larger group, but no excuses for the food quality! The steak (5 orders) we beyond chewy, filet was ok - chicken was ok - noddles slimy. Even the kids at 7 years old, complained of chewy steaks. Always had a bill between $175. and $250. but we have to find a new place. Oh they really don't care when you voice your concerns.

Boardman is highly competitive in hibachi and out of the four I go to regularly I like asuka for having noodles in there hibachi great portions and they will start you with a starter soup and salad. Beside the hibachi the American dream is to die for and always order it if I'm there. #wbb

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible service. The food was okay. But the customer service is extremely poor. And to top it off they add there own 18% tip onto your bill. I explained to the cashier that i would like to decide my own tip. Because my tip wasn't 18% or more he told me that I would not be served any more because of the amount I decided to tip. He told me that he needed to pay his workers. And I explained that a tip is extra it has nothing to do with the way you pay your employees. He then proceeded to have an attitude and speak to a coworker loudly in another language. Very distasteful. And it also isn't the cleanest place.
