Armstrong Playground

I'm now on the playground circuit so it's high time to give you the lowdown. This is a cute little park with two small play areas with slides and swings. I actually like that they have the recycled tire ground that's soft and bouncy in case your kids fall (spoiler alert: they do!). There's also a basketball court and a decent sized pavilion for parties. Looks like they're building bathrooms right by the park and pavilion too, so that's good news! Plenty of parking is a plus.

The Armstrong Playground is a small fenced, community park on 12th Street in the Southside. It was renovated in 2016 and offers a basketball court, horseshoe pits, swings, benches and other amenities.

Super fun for little kids. Lots of swings, cute neighborhood, water feature that the kids work themselves. It also has some BB courts and a large field. Every neighborhood should have one of these.
