Waitress never asked if everything ok I asked for extra cinnamon toast which meant extra cinnamon on it you know cinnamon and sugar you could not even see it or taste it and it but they had no problem drenching it in nasty butter or margarine or whatever it is just yucky and it was just short of seven dollars for a cuppa coffee and cinnamon toast never again

Very inexpensive and nice staff. I got a veggie omelet w/o cheese and was disappointed. They didn't cook the veggies and used canned mushrooms. Maybe the other items on the menu are better, I'd recommend trying something else.

Solid prices and service, fries a little greasy but I don't mind this place for lunch when I work around the area.

Was driving across small town Ohio, on way from DC to visit my family and my two little kids were starving...and we stumbled across Archers in the historic old 50's looking Lisbon. Asked lady out front if a bar or restaurant and luckily was a restaurant - so In we went! Burgers, fries, salad, breakfast platter and ice cream -- all very good and tasty, and very inexpensive. Inside was nicely decorated in newish diner decor. And waitress was pleasant and help, and say good place to go. THEN - when we leave she says, "sorry let me unlock the door for you." Turns out they were actually closing when I saw her outside and kept open and cooked / served us even though closed!! UNREAL and so cool - that's small town Ohio and America for you. So if in area, please stop in -- good people and good eats!!

I stopped here for lunch while traveling through the area in July of 2013. While the food was decent -- about what you might expect: solid and tasty, but nothing memorable or exceptional -- I found the attitude of the woman who either owned or managed the restaurant very off-putting. While eating lunch, I picked up a copy of the local newspaper from the nearby rack to read, and then put it back when I was getting ready to leave. When I got my bill, I noticed a $0.75 charge for the newspaper, even though it was apparent that other diners had used the same newspaper in the same way I had, and, being 2:30 p.m., it was unlikely at that point that any of the remaining papers would be purchased. No big deal I thought, I'm not going to make a fuss over $0.75 if that's what they think is right, although I thought I should have been notified of this beforehand. However, when my server was cashing me out, she asked me if I had taken the newspaper. I said, "No, I just read some of it then returned it to the rack." At that point, the owner woman who was nearby said to my server, in the harshest of tones, "Did he read it?" "Yes," she replied, "but he put it back." A return reply of "Did he read it?" My server, after looking at me nodding my head yes said, "Yes." The owner woman then coldly replied, "Well, then he has to pay for it." In doing this she not only embarrassed her worker in front of me making her quite uncomfortable, she annoyed me with her miserly attitude and by the fact that she did not ever address me or look at me (even though she was about ten feet away), treating me as if I wasn't really there. Not that I'll necessarily ever be back in Carrollton, Ohio, but I can guarantee that if I am, I wouldn't set foot in Archer's Restaurant again. I have no room in my life for such rude and mean-spirited people.
