Warm greeting as we arrived. Specials for each day are bargains! Cozy dining room. The staff are helpful in explaining all specials and making recommendations. Naturally, the pizza and hoagie are my favorite! A traditional Italian sub with fresh deli meats and cheeses, and crisp vegetables can't be beat! A hoagie can be shared between two ladies. Maybe you'll have room for dessert--we did not! So filling, and so delicious!

Amazing service, friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious- loved the eggplant parm!! I haven't liked that dish before - I have been converted. Live music was what we wanted and got that while we ate. Love this restaurant. Paying w cash helps the bill out too.

Sandy had a bike, mum had two slices of pizza and I had a Philly cheese steak. Great taste all around. Friendly, swift service. Very pleasant stop.They even serve single slices on pizza slice shaped plates. Fun!

Angelo's is our go to for good pizza around here, I especially love the white pizza! A little pricey but worth it, the servings are large too. I always get take out but I see people sitting inside pretty regularly, it has that typical old school pizza shop look. Service can be a bit slow on weekends and at dinner time, so expect 45 min to an hour wait or so but as long as you're prepared it's worth it. The sides/apps are just okay but not worth the price, you can get better fried foods at Sheetz to be honest. But the pizza is 100% worth gettinf

Went here with my family. Ordered two pizzas and two pasta dishes. Food was meh. What was most bothersome about this place was the second pizza came out 40 min after our other food. Some guy came out and told us the had to remake our other pie but didn't say anything else. When we asked to speak with the manager, she was like "well, it's busy and you got your food didn't you"? Seriously lady? Your shop is not that good to host such a big attitude with your mess up. It actually makes me think someone should open another pizzeria nearby and deliver incredible service and great pies and maybe show Angelo's what is means to be a great pizzeria.

We always love Angelo's! The eggplant parmesan sandwiches are my favorite. The eggplant is tender and the bread is fresh and has a nice crunch.The service is impressive because the people that work there are very busy but so, so friendly.

This was the most disappointing experience I have had at this restaurant. My family and I have eaten there many times, and it's usually good, but pricey. Unfortunately, my experience this week when I ordered pizza to take out was a disaster. When I called, I was told it would take 35 minutes. When I arrived 25 minutes later, the pizza was already finished, stacked with other orders. I took it home and was astonished to see that it was not fully baked, was actually cold with crust that seemed not fully worked. Had it not been late and a 5-mile drive to return it, I would have done so. Our company was not impressed at all and in fact, half of it was left uneaten. I later called to complain but there was no resolution. Don't patronize Angelo's. It's a disappointment.

The pizza is very good. My wife is Italian and this is the only Pizza place in State College she does not make fun of.Not sure about the other options since it's not authentic Italian food and my wife doesn't budge on that when the restaurant says it's Italian. For reference, we have yet to find an Italian restaurant in central PA.
