Sandwiches and service out of this world!! Highly recommend their deli counter for lunch meats as well.

Stopped by after seeing recommendations for their italian subs from a local facebook group. This place is on the outside of Altoona and close to the mall area. This is an interesting setup with a small italian market and a deli counter. It looks like they do a lot of a catering based upon the view into their back of house. While we waited we picked up various speciality items.My son and I both ordered the 12" Pompeii's. This is one of their italian specialty cold cuts and comes with hot peppers. The meats and cheeses are boars head brand, sliced fresh and the sub comes loaded. The roll is a nice dense loaf. The hot peppers add a great kick! We both only ate half of our subs and had leftovers for dinner. They have various other hot & cold subs that we'll try on future visits. The service was helpful and super friendly. They were busy so it took probably 15 minutes to complete the process.Overall, it was a great sub and a welcomed change from the usual chain offerings. My only gripe is there's no in-store seating. If you're local it's a great takeout sub but we wanted to eat them immediately.

Really frustrating!! So many items with no prices. I really wanted the pistachio baklava, these jelly candies, several items, no stickers. How hard is it to have an employee check that every single item has a price tag??

Travis runs an amazing business, they have catered several events for us. I also stop in for dinner take out, again delicious.

Stopped after seeing a recommendation on Facebook and was not disappointed. An awesome little store with great selection, a fantastic deli and sub counter, and the staff was so friendly. I'll be visiting every chance I get when I'm in Altoona.

Great subs! I often stop here on my way home from out of town. Fresh meats etc and great sub roll. Very generous with meat. Most authentic Italian subs in the atea. I'll call 30 minutes out and my subs are waiting for me when I arrive. Located by the mall just off 99. Very friendly and great selection of Italian groceries.

Very good selection of homemade Italian foods. Daily specials are good and they have a good sub selection. Slightly pricey but decent considering it is all made right there.

The hoagies are amazing Packed with very good Italian meats and cheese. Has a wide variety of Italian food. Delicious

THE MOST RUDE OWNER EVER!!! Acts like you owe him something. Has the nerve sound inconvenienced to take my order with a long sigh. Not too inconvenienced to take peoples money. Miserable to the core. STAY AWAY!!!

Stopped a few days ago forgot to get a picture. The Pompeii was phenomenal. First time in and staff were asking question about where I was from, if I was local etc.. All around amazing homey experience with killer hoagies. Can't wait for my next stop in.
