A Taste of Jamaica

The food I had from this place was very good. I ordered off of Uber Eats and I'm not sure if they have a physical location open for dine-in, but the food is quite good. Seems authentic too. I tried the brown stew chicken (small portion) with a side of festivals and plantains.The chicken was nice and juicy. It came in nice portion as well, and it was not too boney either. It was piled with warm spices that made the entire meal feel homey. I believe the business is owned by a son and mother, after all. Fantastic texture, that was fall off the bone.You get 2 sides with the order. I never tried festivals before and didn't know what they were before I tried them here. Festivals are essentially a type of bread, like a bread stick. It was decent, kind of chewy, but I probably wouldn't order it again if I ordered again.The plantains were pretty good though. I've had better ones before but these were nice. So what sweet and had a nice enough texture. The meal came with rice and peas, which were delicious. It goes perfectly with the juicy chicken and leftover sauce.All in all, a good place to order Jamaican food. There aren't too many places that serve this cuisine in the area, so always nice to have a delivery option like this one. You can also order on the phone I believe, or through Uber Eats. Great chicken especially.
