1942 Tacos & Tequila

Had dinner here with fry. The service was friendly and speedy. The food was very good. Definitely recommend

we ate there last night after the game. We bout have food poisoning today. We were looking for Las Maracas, but ended up at 1942. We will never go back there.Si sabes lo que es el mal del "kagasagua"....no vayas!!!!

Service was average, waitstaff said certain items were not available. An additional server bridged a communication gap to let us know our food was available.Upon walking in, the facility floors were dirty, music is tailored to an adult crowd, the men's bathroom floor was greasy/slippery, the ceiling ventilation fan cover was missing (the whole fan motor assembly was covered with dust/grime), and a black plastic comb was resting on the dirty sink. Flies inside and out of the establishment. Summarized, bill was near $100 for three adults (2 alcoholic beverages) and two teens w/ four entrees total. All five of us had gastro-intestinal issues presenting within hours of eating there. Separate entrees and drinks were not shared. This may be a "one-off" occurrence but based on my experience, I would not recommend eating here - especially if you have business to address the next day.Recommend the establishment seek a courtesy inspection from the local health department. The odds of five customers getting sick (living in different locales), and not sharing food/drink are extremely slim.

Very friendly! Lovely music with prompt service. Margarita on the rocks was above average and the all day margarita special was great. Wide selection of tequilas and Mexican beers. Walking distance to campus. Reasonable prices and servings plenty. We couldn't finish all our food! Their Authentic chile rellenos was above average and imho a great barometer for a Mexican restaurant. 3 amigos carnitas tacos were A+. I think they are the BEST Mexican restaurant in town.

Super clean, amazing food, fast service and nice staff. Can't believe this place doesn't have more +better reviews!
