**Appetizer: Garlic Dip**- The garlic potato dip was served with crispy cauliflower. While the dip had a pleasant flavor, we were surprised that it was served cold. The cauliflower, although roasted, lacked crispiness. Additionally, the garlic flavor in the dip was quite muted and didn't shine through as expected. It was still good and we enjoyed it**Main Course: Grilled Greek Wrap**- This wrap featured a tortilla filled with tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and feta, with chicken shawarma (you have the choice of chicken shawarma or gyro for the sandwich). The chicken shawarma was incredibly flavorful and delicious, with each bite bursting with taste. This is a dish I would definitely order again. The wrap came with a choice of fries or a Greek salad. I opted for the Greek salad, which was a generous portion with tomatoes, red bell pepper, cucumber, and kalamata olives. The salad was well dressed, striking a perfect balance--not too much, not too little--and had a healthy serving of feta cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed it.**Wife's Meal: Half Chicken Shawarma Platter and Half Chicken Souvlaki**- This dish was accompanied by lemon rosemary potatoes, which were nicely cooked, and a Greek salad. It also came with pitta segments. My wife enjoyed the chicken shawarma with pita bread and tzatziki sauce, and she was very pleased with the entire plate.**Mother-in-Law's Meal: Greek Burger with Greek Fries**- The Greek burger, served with Greek fries, was another hit. The chef did not skimp on the feta or the flavor, making for a delicious meal. Overall, we were very impressed with the food and would definitely dine here again!

Our first visit but it certainly will not be our last. We met friends here for our monthly lunch get together. Nice atmosphere and great food. I had the lamb pita with salad and fries. The portions are large so share or come hungry! We also ordered baklava, and it was very fresh. Some of the best I've ever had.Our server was Valerie and she was really on her "A" game today. Great service, a nice smile, attentive, and very efficient. She gave us some suggestions when we ordered which saved us money too. That is always appreciated.

Went here based on the yelp reviews. It does have a nice interior and patio setting.Food wise it was okay. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma Platter and Gyro Platter. Was surprised it was served with potatoes. I asked if I could substitute it with Tiboli, but they do not make it?The portions were a little small, but it might be because it's considered more upscale?Last, this is the first restaurant that I've been to that charge separately for using a credit card. So now they are transferring that cost to the consumer? Doesn't seem right but I don't expect to go back there again.

This is a cautionary tale that thankfully came out on the right side. It stems from a very inexperienced employee who created a customer service problem and a shift leader andowner who stepped in to make sure it was handled properly.I was in town for the weekend, staying with several other families in an AirBnB. I called the restaurant directly to ask about ordering a family-style meal for 6 people. I wanted to have some kababs with rice, salad, pita, hummus, etc and let people serve themselves. The gal who answered the phone said they don't have family style meals but have catering so I described what I wanted and asked what the price would be. She told me that she was new and she'd call me back with the answer. I waited and then called her back and she told me that it would be over $200! (normal souvlaki plates are $16-19ea, so this was almost twice as much) I said no thank you but she told me they already prepared the food (even though I had never agreed to the order). I was very tempted to ditch everything and write a -1 yelp review....Thankfully, she realized that she needed help and got the shift leader and owner involved who immediately recognized the problem. We agreed that I would pay the equivalent of the plates and I went to pick up the food. It did taste great and was very nice. The shift leader apologized profusely and included a little baklava as a consolation prize.

Pitta Souvli is a dine-in or take out Mediterranean grill in South Chandler. The restaurant is slightly more upscale than I expected and the service and ambiance were both very good. The location is tucked away in a shopping center so you don't want to miss it.The menu is a blend of appetizers, pitas, and entrees along with a full bar. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. We had the jalapeno hummus and it was excellent. For our meals, we kept it easy and had falafel and chicken shawarma. The sandwiches were both pretty good and the french fries in particular were excellent. I would compare the fries to NJ/NY diner style well-done steak fries. I would definitely go back and check out some of the house specialities to give something a try beyond the pitas. Overall, nice spot and a pleasant surprise.

This remains a hidden gem of Chandler for me as the food is ALWAYS solid, customer service is great, and if it's not so hot, the patio is the ideal spot to enjoy your lunch. Always look at the specials as they offer a nice twist. This time around it was lamp chops so a few of us jumped on them. They were excellent & the portions didn't disappoint. Good food, another great experience, and will continue to return.

Reading all of the Yelp reviews, my husband and I had to try out Pitta Souvli Mediterranean Grill on our latest visit to Phoenix Arizona! Pitta Souvli is located in Chandler, Arizona. The restaurant is in a shopping plaza next to a few other businesses such as Sport Clips Haircut and AutoZone Auto Parts. Parking is limited, though. As soon as you walk inside the restaurant, you'll notice how beautiful it is! The outside seating was amazing with all the plants and greenery. There were also heating lamps available too for the cold winter months. My husband and I sat inside, though. Since this was our first time inside the restaurant, we spent about 10 minutes looking at all the different options. Unfortunately, water wasn't initially provided. Once the team member who was assisting us took our order, another team member brought out waters 10 minutes later. It wasn't too busy inside the restaurant as we were having a late lunch around 1:30 P.M.Looking over the menu, we had decided to order the followingPita Sandwich (Chicken Souvlaki) filled with lettuce, tomatoes, onions & tzatziki. I had requested hummus instead of tzatziki sauce instead since I love hummus! A side of Greek FriesGyro Plate with potatoes and a side salad.Service was a little slow. We didn't receive our meal until 40 minutes later. The Pita Sandwich was missing the hummus, unfortunately, and the chicken was also burnt. I ate most of it, though! I couldn't eat the French Fries. It had a lot of rosemary topped on the Greek fries. The French Fries were drenched in the oil that most of the French Fries were soggy. My husband enjoyed the gyro platter! He thought the gyro meat was flavorful, and the side salad blended well with the potatoes. Portion sizes are pretty big! We have had other experiences with different Mediterranean restaurants, and Pitta Souvli Mediterranean Grill is decent.

Currently on a strict diet and struggle to find restaurants with many options that can accommodate it. Found Pitta Souvli while running errands nearby and popped in on a Saturday evening to try it. Was greeted by very polite young staff in the front and seated immediately. Took a while to be seen at our table but when our server did come by, she apologized for the wait and acknowledged and thanked us for our patience. She also more than made up for it during our visit :) very generous and kind restaurant staff. She was so pleasant and answered all my dietary questions with happiness and kindness. The baba ganoush was so smoky and delicious I even ordered a second one to go! The lamb souvlaki was not gamey at all and came with two skewers, I couldn't even finish one! The dolmades came warm (which I've only ever had once before some place else) and in tomato sauce sprinkled with feta! Holy smokes that was the most amazing and creative way I have ever tried dolmas. Very generous portions of pita with each plate too. The baklava was drenched in honey and very sweet but also the best I've had in a while! I can't wait to come back and try more!

My husband and I have always liked Pitta Souvli, and were happy to come back after a round of golf (and after not having been in a while)! We were very hungry but looking for something refreshing, and this hit the spot! I really enjoyed my Greek salad with gyro meat. We both agreed this was probably the best gyro we've had -- it was so juicy and tender, and they didn't skimp! There was a good amount of other toppings like onions, peppers and onions, and I thought the vinaigrette was perfect (flavorful but not too harsh/bitter, and it covered but didn't drench the salad). We also enjoyed the toasted pita and baba ganoush. Definitely decent serving sizes across the board! As for service, the whole staff was incredibly friendly as soon as we walked in and throughout our meal, and we got our food pretty quickly. To be honest, there isn't anything super notable about the restaurant itself but the patio is cute, so I'd recommend sitting outside if weather permits!
