The smiley face was a nice touch. Super professional in my opinion..
That char is a sure sign of chewy dry chicken. I wouldn't serve this to anyone let alone a paying customer.
Mediterranean rice is a stretch. Toasted almonds on sushi rice is not something I've ever eaten from a Med spot.
I have balsamic at home thanks.
5 minutes before they closed and they said it was too late, so I went to my car to leave but noticed more people came in & ordered

So there I was, a desperate in need of a bathroom, and fate led me to Pita Mesiteraninam at 10:30 AM. I burst through the door like a caffeinated gazelle, only to be greeted by the staff with a stern warning: "The bathroom is for clients only!" I thought, "Sure, I'm a client! Just let me in!" I emerged, a little relieved and a lot confused. Turns out, the place was not even open yet! Who knew a bathroom break could come with an unexpected comedy routine? The staff was kind enough to let me know that I might have missed the memo about the lights being off and that, apparently, I was breaking some sacred pre-opening rule. I mean, come on! The door was open--what was I supposed to think? "Hey, let's throw caution to the wind and risk a bathroom emergency!" As I left, I could sense the owner's playful insanity in the air. I half-expected them to hand me a pita as I exited. Sorry I couldn't buy anything--I would've loved to try your food if you weren't playing hard to get!In conclusion, if you need a bathroom in a pinch, this is the place (just maybe check if the lights are on first)! I hope my surprise visit didn't throw off your morning too much. Here's to wild bathroom adventures and slightly crazy owners! Thanks for the unexpected comedy and the clean facilities! To the owner - I'm sorry for my misunderstanding - I thought if I bought something it would have been okay not realizing you were not open yet.

I walked up at 7:55, the hours say 8:00 online, and 9:00 on the door. I drove here because it IS good . But to be turned away when there's still technically open leaves a BAD TASTE.!I returned the following day and informed the owner. He was very apologetic and made it right with a gesture. The Babaganoush is amazing!! The meats are all tasty, enough to bring me back! Thanks

I really wanted to like this place! The customer service was amazing. The lamb shawarma plate was dry and tasted like carne asada not your typical lamb seasoning. Unfortunately won't be coming back.

Came in for lunch and got the salad with chicken kabobs. The salad was fresh, huge , and delicious. I was surprised there was no one there. The salad was fresh, lettuce crisp, onions and tomatoes delicious, and the feta to die for. The chicken was flavorful. This salad was so big I saved half! The pita was delicious I should have ordered extra. Also got a couple different sauces, the hot one was great.

Very friendly staff. Quite a few people were waiting for their food but our order was taken quickly. My daughter requested some of their yoghurt and I asked for 4 sides, priced at .50cents each but the woman who took our order said she would give us some with our order. We ordered two chicken kabob plates, one extra chicken kabob and one chicken/rice bowl. We didn't have to wait long for our food and we brought it home to enjoy. The hummus is delicious and the salad was fresh. The rice with almonds was also a highlight. The chicken was nicely seasoned and had good flavor but was slightly dry. The pita bread was very dry today (this was our 3rd visit here and I never remember that being an issue before). If in the area and craving Mediterranean food I will gladly come back.

Super quick and very attentive service! Very nice employees! Great location close to Costco and Walmart. I ordered the Mediterranean Salad with Falafels! It was fresh and delicious and a great serving size! The falafels were just the right amount of crispy and all the ingredients tasted great! I will be back to try something new! Not too busy and plenty of tables inside if you want to stay and eat.

Won't be back. There's no description on the items on their menu in store.. looked it up online to order. Waited a while, fine... but then got home to a salad without some of the toppings stated in the menu and hardly any dressing.. it's literally lettuce onion tomato and cucumber... no olives, barely any feta. There's hardly any dressing. Not worth the price

I'm back in town for a while and had to visit my FAVORITE spot! I always get the lamb plate with 3 pitas. Hands down the best. The same guy is working there from back in the day (07). It was great to stop in and get some of the BEST lamb in SD.

We have been eating here since they opened a few years ago and always enjoyed the food. They have always appeared to do more business in take out than customer's dining in and have never made much effort to create a dining in atmosphere that is enticing in any way. We have not been in for several months as we were on an extended Motorhome Vacation. But... this afternoon we wanted some good Mediterranean food and we dropped in for a late lunch or early dinner. We arrived about 4:00pm Sunday, August 13, 2023The first thing we noticed was that the prices had gone up by quite a bit. But the food has always been very good here and prices are going up everywhere... so we choked :-) and ordered two Chicken Kabob plates with one water and one diet Soda. The price was $38.31. There is no table service here... so we gathered our plastic utensils, napkins, pepper packets and drinks and started to seat ourselves. There was only one other party of four (who also had a dispute about their order) sitting in the restaurant and nine or ten empty tables. We approached four (food scraps) dirt tables before choosing a 5th dirty table and cleaning it ourselves with napkins. When our order was ready we went to the counter and our food was served in Styrofoam "To-Go" boxes with lids. Upon sitting down and opening our boxes we found that in addition to the prices going up substantially... the portions were smaller. The Chicken Kabobs were over gilled, tasted burned, and were dryer and not as juicy as we remembered. The rice which used to be a spiced delicious Jasmin rice was different tasting and had a totally different texture. We were terribly disappointed in the food and pricing. We ate our meal and in the background was some contemporary Music playing with RAP Music and totally inappropriate profane and foul language. So we endured our meal to F this ... and F that and "Shake your .... Ass Baby".When we finished, we cleaned up our mess, trashed our boxes and food scraps... and I went up to the counter. All of the employees were sitting in the back of the Kitchen chatting. A young man came forward and asked what I would like and I told him I wanted to give him some valuable feedback. I asked him the difference between a dine in and a to go order.... he replied "None I guess" so I started to tell him the above story... and he went into this defensive tirade about He's not the Boss... It's not his fault... Somebody else took our order... He didn't pick the music.I stopped him and tried to explain I wanted him to share with the Boss my experience and feedback. I asked him to be situationally aware of the cleanliness of the restaurant.... the Music that was playing... and the cooking of the food they were serving. He wanted no responsibility .... for anything... and a young lady working with him came to his defense and started her tirade of why nothing was their fault. I pointed out to him that instead of sitting in the back of the Kitchen gabbing... maybe they should be out cleaning the tables... or cluttered floor. I tried to point out to them that my feedback was necessary for them to even continue having a job. Diners vote with their feet. I explained that I only wanted them to convey what I was saying to the owner... so that they would continue in business... and we could continue to look forward to dining there again. They refused to held accountable in any way. They did not thank me for the feedback... they never offered any apology for the experience or willingness to effect a change in any way. As we left... the one other party of four still dining... looked up at me... smiled and nodded their agreement. This is really a sad review of a sad experience. I don't think we will ever dine there again.

I was around the area and I happened to stumble on this place before going to class and they let me sample a couple of meats I ended up choosing the Tri Tip sandwich I would definitely recommend I ended up eating way to fast and didn't get to take the best pictures. Also came with delicious pita chips and some sauces. If you love spices make sure to get it spicy that's what I did! I will be definitely be coming back sooner than later to try the chicken next time!
