We tried this newly opened Mediterranean food place and we really liked it. I came across this spot on my social media and this place is supposed to be rated number 2 in NYC. The restaurant has a dine-in area plus a small market attached to the restaurant. You can find exotic snacks along with some other cooking ingredients. We were greeted right away by the server, and we were asked about our main orders for food. If you want to order desserts, you could tell the server at the paying window. We tried their mixed shawarma plate, veggie plate, and small fries. The meat was so tender and juicy. The hummus was good but was a bit too light based on our tastes. The salad was well seasoned. Since we asked for takeout, the pita bread was a little bit cold and dry when we tried it. But I'm sure if you could eat it right away it would be much better. The veggie plate was really good, especially the falafels. I would recommend getting a veggie plate as a sampler of some of the appetizers if you have a group of people to share the food together. The fries were well cooked with their special seasoning. They were not as salty as some of the other places would be. We were glad to try their desserts and they tasted pretty mild, not too overly sweet. I think it was a good pair with the food. If you bring cash, you could waive the credit card service fee. And you might want to consider asking for to-go meals since the parking lot is small and always packed.

Found this place while scrolling through social media and constantly trying to find places that make knafeh from scratch! It's located in this small rundown plaza, but don't let that fool you! Once you enter through the doors, you'll find the restaurant on the left and a small marketplace with more seating on the right.I was greeted by one of the sons who help run the family business. He not only took the time to explain what they had in their sweets case for the day but also was excited to share the history behind the various types of khaneh. I never knew there were so many different variations! Then he pulled a tray out of freshly made, still-warm rice pudding. Apparently, these were just made by his mom in the back - so in other words, how can you get more scratchmade and authentic than that? And how can you get better small family business customer service than when the dad checks you out? You can't!Ultimately, I got the chicken kebab pita wrap ($8 for.four pieces of meat with onions, tomatoes, pickles, garlic sauce, and hot sauce as optional) and a few sweet things to try. Maybe it is personal preference, but although the meat was tasty, I wish the wrap was fuller and/or stuffed with lettuce as well. The khaneh with cheese was amazing and would be what I come back for. I would pass on the caramel custard cup next time (super dense) but would get the rice pudding again if I wanted something a tad sweet to end my meal.Overall, this place is worth checking out! Amazing customer service, clean restaurant, affordable prices!

Great Mediterranean food. They also have a small grocery mom and pop store. Love supporting small businesses. Try their Hummus too!

I would like to love this place but the last time I got the food the rice was undercooked. I guess they maybe super busy with all orders during the special month. I usually go straight to their daily special section. The molokhia green leaf with chicken is so delicious. The ground beef in the rice is tasty. There are so many selections of desserts. I like the deep fried dough with walknut inside. Many of their desserts have tasty honey in it/on top/cover it.

This is totally authentic and pop your flavor muscle kind of delicious!! I ordered the Kafta Platter. Flavor in ever bite. The meat is made to order. So fresh and tasty. The service was super friendly. Come to find out he is the owner. Very helpful with my allergies. The loving hands behind this flavorful meal. Nice size portions. This market slash restaurant is a one stop shop. They even have a bidet, definitely top notch.

Was sent an IG reel of this place and definitely wanted to go support and try some of the skewers in particular.First time to try many different things so opted for the Pita Valley Combo Platter. It has 4 types of skewers, which I loved them all; tabouli, pleasantly surprised at how delicious and fresh it tasted; grape leaves and baba ghanoush- my intro to these, not for me, but maybe my taste buds needs another try again. Also tried the kibbeh for the first time. Interesting is what I'll say, but will try again another time for sure. Maybe I was expecting something else, another flavor...I loaded up on desserts and got my sugar rush with 4 kinds of baklavas! All in all, the service was impeccable, the staff was awesome, and the patrons coming in left out happy and full!

Was served cold chicken shawarma and am feeling extremely sick now because of it. Food safety is clearly not a priority at this restaurant.

Super nice staff! Loved that it's a family business. The worker pointed out the owner and ran us through their options and what they're known for. Super sweet and thoughtful for him to do. We ordered a kebab plate with 1 kofta and 1 sirloin. The rice was spectacular!

What a great surprise to find such an amazing place to ring the new year with mujadara!!!! My dad is Lebanese (and superstitious ) and must eat mujadara every January 1st to ring the new year with good fortune and bring prosperity. I called Pita Valley twice and thought it was closed for the New Year, but thankfully, the owner promptly called me back and said they were open and happy to cook some mujadara for us. OMG!!! The food was simply AMAZING! The Kafta, the kibbeh, the hummus, the mujadara Everything was homemade and very well made. The staff was extremely hospitable, and we felt very welcome and happy to share so many things in common with our Lebanese friends. Baraka Allahu Bik! Happy New Year and thank you for everything!
